SahihMuslim-017-001-17888 | It has been narrated on the authority of Sulaimin Bin Buraida who learnt the tradition from his father. The latter said that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: The sanctity of the wives of Mujahids is like the sanctity of their mothers for those who sit at home i. e do not go out for Jihad. Anyone who stays behind looking after the family of a Mujahid and betrays his trust will be made to stand on the Day of judgment before the Mujahid who will take away from his meritorious deeds whatever he likes. Salamah said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ returned from Khaibar and I said: O Messenger of Allah; do you permit me to recite some lines of Rajaz verse to you? The Messenger of Allah ﷺ gave him permission but Umar Bin AlKhattab; may Allah be pleased with him; said: Think what you are saying. I said:By Allah; if Allah had not guided us we would not have been guided We would not have given in charity nor prayed The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: You have spoken the truth. I continued: Send down tranquility upon us; And make us steadfast when we meet the enemy. For the idolators have transgressed against us. When I completed my Rajaz verse; the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: Who said that? I said: My brother. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: May Allah have mercy on him. I said: O Messenger of Allah; some people are afraid to offer the funeral prayer for him; and they are saying that he is a man who died by his own weapon. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: He died striving as a Mujahid. Ibn Shihab said: Then I asked a son of Salamah Bin AlAkwa; and he narrated a similar report to me from his father; except that he said: When I said: Some people are afraid to offer the funeral prayer for him; the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: They lied. SunanAbuDawoud-017-001-25036 | Mujahid said I was with Ibn Abbas. A man came to him and said that he divorced his wife by three pronouncements. I kept silence and thought that he was going to restore het to him. He then said A man goes and commits a foolish act and then says O; Ibn Abbas! Alaah has said And for those who fear Allaah; He ever prepares a way out. Since you did not keep duty to Allaah I do not find a way out for you. You disobeyed your Lord and your wife was separated from you. Allaah has said O Prophet! When you divorce women divorce them in the beginning of their waiting period.Abu Dawud said This tradition has been transmitted by Humaid AlAraj and by others from Mujahid on the authority of Ibn Abbas. Shubjh narrated it from Amr Bin Murrah from Said Bin Jubair on the authority of Ibn Abbas. Ayoub and Ibn Jubair both narrated it from Ikrimah Bin Khalid from Said Bin Jubair on the authority of Ibn Abbas. Ibn Juraij narrated it from Abd AlHamid Bin Rafi from Ata from Ibn Abbas. AlAmash narrated it from Malik Bin AlHarith on the authority of Ibn Abbas. They all said about the divorce by three pronouncements. He allowed it and said Your wife has been separated from you similar to the tradition narrated by Ismail from Ayoub from Abd Allaah Bin Kathir.Abu Dawud said Hammad Bin Zaid narrated it from Ayoub from Ikrimah on the authority of Ibn Abbas. This version adds If he said You are divorced three times saying in one pronouncement; it constitutes a single divorce. Ismail Bin Ibrahim narrated it from Ayoub from Ikrimah. This is his Ikrimahs statement. He did not mention the name of Ibn Abbas. He narrated it as a statement of Ikrimah. | The Chapter on Wives And Relationship And Menstruation in HodHood Indexing, Chapter on The Abrogation Of Taking Back A Wife After The Third Divorce in Sunan Abu Dawoud | |

Uthman changed it altogether with increasing addition. He built its walls with decorated stone and lime. And he built the pillars with decorated stone and its roof with teak. Mujahid said: Its roof was made of teak. MuwataMalik-017-001-35533 | Yahya related to me from Malik that Humayd Ibn Oays AlMakki told him; I was with Mujahid while he was performing tawaf around the Kaba; and a man came to him and asked whether the days of fasting for kaffara had to be fasted consecutively; or could they be split up. I said to him; Yes; they can be split up; if the person so wishes. Mujahid said; He should not split them up; because in Ubay Ibn Kaab recitation they are referred to as three consecutive days. Malik said; What I like most is what Allah has specified in the Quran; that is; that they are fasted consecutively. Malik was asked about a woman who began the day fasting in Ramadan and though it was outside of the time of her period; fresh blood i.e. not menstrual blood flowed from her. She then waited until evening to see the same; but did not see anything. Then; on the next day in the morning she had anotherflow; though less than the first. Then; some days before her period; the flow stopped completely. Malik was asked what she should do about her fasting and prayer; and he said; This blood is like menstrual blood. When she sees it she should break her fast; and then make up the days she has missed. Then; when the blood has completely stopped; she should do ghusl and fast. Malik was asked whether someone who became muslim on the last day of Ramadan had to make up all of Ramadan or whether he just had to make up the day when he became muslim; and he said; He does not have to make up any of the days that have passed. He begins fasting from that day onwards. What I like most is that he makes up the day on which he became muslim. | The Chapter on Ramadan And Fasting And Deeds in HodHood Indexing, The Book of Divorce in Muwata Malik |
