SahihAlBukhari-017-001-3095 | Narrated Jabir Bin Abdullah: There was a Jew in Medina who used to lend me money up to the season of plucking dates. Jabir had a piece of land which was on the way to Ruma. That year the land was not promising; so the payment of the debt was delayed one year. The Jew came to me at the time of plucking; but gathered nothing from my land. I asked him to give me one year respite; but he refused. This news reached the Prophet ﷺ whereupon he said to his companions; Let us go and ask the Jew for respite for Jabir. All of them came to me in my garden; and the Prophet ﷺ started speaking to the Jew; but he Jew said; O Abu Qasim! I will not grant him respite. When the Prophet ﷺ saw the Jew attitude; he stood up and walked all around the garden and came again and talked to the Jew; but the Jew refused his request. I got up and brought some ripe fresh dates and put it in front of the Prophet. He ate and then said to me; Where is your hut; O Jabir? I informed him; and he said; Spread out a bed for me in it. I spread out a bed; and he entered and slept. When he woke up; I brought some dates to him again and he ate of it and then got up and talked to the Jew again; but the Jew again refused his request. Then the Prophet ﷺ got up for the second time amidst the palm trees loaded with fresh dates; and said; O Jabir! Pluck dates to repay your debt. The Jew remained with me while I was plucking the dates; till I paid him all his right; yet there remained extra quantity of dates. So I went out and proceeded till I reached the Prophet and informed him of the good news; whereupon he said; I testify that I am Allah Messenger ﷺ. | The Chapter on Food And Trees in HodHood Indexing, Chapter on The eating of a spadix of the palm tree in Sahih AlBukhari
SahihAlBukhari-017-001-4853 | Narrated Jabir Bin Abdullah: When my father died he owed a Jew thirty Awsuq of dates. I requested him to give me respite for repaying but he refused. I requested Allah Messenger ﷺ to intercede with the Jew. Allah Messenger ﷺ went to the Jew and asked him to accept the fruits of my trees in place of the debt but the Jew refused. Allah Apostle entered the garden of the date-palms; wandering among the trees and ordered me saying ; Pluck the fruits and give him his due. So; I plucked the fruits for him after the departure of Allah Apostle and gave his thirty Awsuq; and still had seventeen Awsuq extra for myself. Jabir said: I went to Allah Messenger ﷺ to inform of what had happened; but found him praying the Asr prayer. After the prayer I told him about the extra fruits which remained. Allah Messenger ﷺ told me to inform Umar Ibn AlKhattab about it. When I went to Umar and told him about it; Umar said; When Allah Messenger ﷺ walked in your garden; I was sure that Allah would definitely bless it. | The Chapter on Food And Trees in HodHood Indexing, Chapter on To settle one accounts by repaying in Sahih AlBukhari |

She came to him and said: What is this news that has reached me from you that you curse those women who tattooed and those women who have themselves tattooed; the women who pluck hair from their faces and who make spaces between their teeth for beautification changing what God has created? Thereupon Abdullah said: Should I not curse one upon whom Allah Messenger ﷺ has invoked curse and that is in the Book also. Thereupon that woman said: I read the Quran from cover to cover; but I did not find that in it. whereupon he said: If you had read thoroughly you would have definitely found this in that as Allah; the Exalted and Glorious; has said: What Allah Messenger brings for you accept that and what he has forbidden you; refrain from that. That woman said: I find this thing in your wife even now. Thereupon he said: Go and see her. She reported: I went to the wife of Abdullah but found nothing of this sort in her. She came back to him and said: I have not seen anything. whereupon he said: Had there been anything like it in her; I would have never slept with her in the bed. | The Chapter on Grooming The Pubic Hear And Plucking in HodHood Indexing, Chapter on 33 in Sahih Muslim

SunanAbuDawoud-017-001-26112 | Abdullah Bin Masus said: Allah has cursed the woman who tattoo and the women who have themselves tattooed; the women who add false hair according to the version of Muhammad Bin Isa and the women who pluck hairs from their faces according to the version on Uthman. The agreed version then goes: The women who spaces between their teeth for beauty; changing what Allah has created. When a woman of Banu Asad called Umm Yaqub; who read the Quran according to the version of Uthman heard it; she came to him according to the agreed version and said: I have heard that you have cursed the women who tattoo; those have themselves tattooed; those who add false hair according to the version of Muhammad ; those pluck hairs from their faces; and those who make spaces between their teeth according to the agreed version ; for changing what Allah has created according to the version of Uthman. He said: Why should I not curse those whom the Messenger of Allah ﷺ had cursed and those who were mentioned in Allah Book ? She said: I have read it from cover to cover and have not found in it. He said: I swear by Allah; if you read it; you would have found it. He then read: What the Apostle has brought you accept; and what he has forbidden refrain from it. She said: I find some of these thing in you wife. He said: Enter the house and see. She said: I then entered the house and came out. He asked: What did you see ? She said: I did not see anything. MuwataMalik-017-001-35982 | Yahya related to me from Malik that Ata Ibn Abdullah AlKhurasani said that an old man from Suq AlBuram in Kufa had related to him that Kaab Ibn Ujra said; The Messenger of Allah; may Allah bless him and grant him peace; came to me while I was blowing under a cooking pot belonging to my companions and my head and beard were full of lice. He took my forehead and said; Shave your hair and fast three days or feed six poor people. The Messenger of Allah; may Allah bless him and grant him peace; was aware that I did not have anything with me to sacrifice. Malik said; concerning paying compensation fidya for the relief of physical discomfort; The custom concerning it is that no one pays compensation until he has done something which makes it obligatory to pay compensation just as making amends kaffara is only done when it has become obligatory for the one who owes it. The person can pay the compensation wherever he wishes; regardless of whether he has to sacrifice an animal or fast or give sadaqa - in Makka or in any other town. Malik said; It is not correct for a person in ihram to pluck out any of his hair or to shave it or cut it until he has left ihram; unless he is suffering from an ailment of the head; in which case he owes the compensation Allah the Exalted has ordered. It is not correct for a person in ihram to cut his nails; or to kill his lice; or to remove them from his head or from his skin or his garment to the ground. If a person in ihram removes lice from his skin or his garment; he must give away the quantity of food that he can scoop up with both hands. Malik said;Anyone who; while in ihram; plucks out hairs from his nose or armpit or rubs his body with a depilatory agent or shaves the hair from around a head wound out of necessity or shaves his neck for the place of the cupping glasses; regardless of whether it is in forgetfulness or in ignorance; owes compensation in all these instances; and he must not shave the place of the cupping glasses. Someone; who; out of ignorance; shaves his head before he stones the jamra. must also pay compensation. | The Chapter on Grooming Cutting The Hair Asking For Mercy During Alhajj in HodHood Indexing, The Book of Fasting in Muwata Malik |
