Prayer prayer In Sahih AlBukhari

Hadith PageArabic TextEnglish TranslationBook and Chapter
SahihAlBukhari-017-001-1532Umar Bin AlKhattab said: I heard Hisham Bin AlHakim reciting Surat AlFurqan during the lifetime of Allah Messenger ﷺ. I listened to his recitation and noticed that he recited it in several different ways which Allah Messenger ﷺ had not taught me. So I was about to jump over him during his Prayer prayer but I waited till he finished his Prayer prayer whereupon I put; either his upper garment or my upper garment around his neck and seized him by it and asked him; Who has taught you this Surah? He replied: Allah Messenger ﷺ has taught it to me. I said to him ; You have told a lie! By Allah; Allah Messenger ﷺ has taught me this Surah which I have heard you reciting. So I dragged him to the Allah Messenger ﷺ. I said: O Allah Messenger I have heard this man reciting Surat AlFurqan in a way in which you have not taught me; and you did teach me Surah AlFurqan. On that Allah Messenger ﷺ said; O Umar; release him! Recite; O Hisham. So Hisham recited before him in the way as I heard him reciting. Allah Messenger ﷺ said; It has been revealed like this. Then Allah Messenger ﷺ said; Recite; O Umar So recited it. The Prophet ﷺ said; It has been revealed like this. And then he added; This Quran has been revealed to be recited in seven different ways; so recite it whichever way is easier for you.The Chapter on Revelation Of Alquran in HodHood Indexing, Chapter on AlMutaawalin in Sahih AlBukhari
SahihAlBukhari-017-001-739Narrated Abu Huraira: The Quran is recited in every prayer and in those prayers in which Allah Messenger ﷺ recited aloud for us; we recite aloud in the same prayers for you; and the prayers in which the Prophet ﷺ recited quietly; we recite quietly. If you recite AlFatiha only it is sufficient but if you recite something else in addition; it is better. The Chapter on Recitation Of Surat Albaqara in HodHood Indexing, Chapter on The recitation of the Quran in the Fajr prayer in Sahih AlBukhari

A person from Banu Tamim came there. He neither slackened nor turned away; but continued crying : Prayer; prayer. Ibn Abbas said: May you be deprived of your mother; do you teach me Sunnah? And then he said: I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ combining the noon and afternoon prayers and the sunset and Isha prayers. Abdullah Bin Shaqiq said: Some doubt was created in my mind about it. SunanAlTermithi-017-001-10876Abu Huraira narrated: Allah Messenger said: The best day that the sun has risen upon is Friday. On it Adam was created; on it he entered Paradise; and on it; he was sent down from it. And in it there is an hour in which the Muslim worshipper would not stand in Prayer; asking Allah for anything except that He would give it to him. Abu Huraira said: I met Abdullah Bin Salam; and I mentioned this Hadith to him. He said: I am more knowledgeable about that hour. So I said: Inform me about it; and do not keep any of it from me. He said: It is after AlAsr until the sun has set. I said: How can it be after AlAsr when Allah Messenger said: the Muslim worshipper would not stand in Prayer. And that is a time that prayer is not performed in? So Abdullah Bin Salam said: Didnt Allah Messenger say: Whoever sat in a gathering awaiting the Prayer then he is in Prayer? I said: Of course. He said: Then that is it.The Chapter on Prayers And The Masjid in HodHood Indexing, Chapter on What Has Been Related About The Hour That Is Hoped For On Friday in Sunan AlTermithi

I testify that there is no god but Allah; I testify that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah; I testify that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah: come to prayer; come to prayer: come to salvation; come to salvation: Allah is most great. Allah is great; there is no god but Allah.Abu Dawud said: The narrator Abd AlRazzaq said; You pronounce IQAMAH for announcing the prayer; you must say twice: the time for prayer has come; the time for prayer has come. The Prophet said to Abu Mahdhurah : did you listen to me ? Abu Mahdhurah would not have the hair of his forehead cut; nor would he separate them from him because the Prophet ﷺ wiped over them. The Chapter on Adhan And Iqama And Fasting in HodHood Indexing, Chapter on How The Adhan Is Performed in Sunan Abu Dawoud

SunanAbuDawoud-017-001-27813Abu bakr Bin Abdulrahman and abu Salamah said: Abu Huraira would utter the takbir in every prayer; whether obligatory or non-obligatory; He would utter the takbir when he stood; and he would utter the takbir when he bowed; then he would say: Allah listens to him who praises Him; he then would say before prostrating himself; Our Lord; to Thee be praise; then he would say while falling in prostration: Allah is most great; he then would utter the takbir when he raised his head after prostration; and then utter the takbir when he prostrated; and then utter takbir the takbir when he stood up at the end of two rakahs after sitting down. He used to do so in every rakah until he finished his prayer. Then he would say at the end of the prayer: By Him in Whose hands lies my life; I am closer to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ in respect of his prayer. Such was the prayer he used to offer until he departed from the world.Abu Dawud said: Malik; AlZubaidi and others have narrated so that they form the last words from AlZuhri on the authority of Ali b; Husain. When he is sure about the completion of his prayer; he should make two prostrations at the end of the prayer. If the prayer is complete; the additional rakah and the two prostrations will be supererogatory prayer. If the prayer is incomplete; the additional rakahs will compensate it; and the two prostrations will be a disgrace for the devil. The Chapter on Prayers And Mercy Bowing And Prostration in HodHood Indexing, Chapter on Whoever Said The Doubt Should Be Ignored When One Is Confused Regarding Whether He Has Prayed Two Or Three Rakah in Sunan Abu Dawoud
