SahihAlBukhari-017-001-2104 | Narrated Ibn Abbas: A man came to the Prophet ﷺ and said to him; My sister vowed to perform the Hajj; but she died before fulfilling it. The Prophet ﷺ said; Would you not have paid her debts if she had any? The man said; Yes. The Prophet ﷺ said; So pay Allah Rights; as He is more entitled to receive His rights. | The Chapter on Obligations Of Wealth in HodHood Indexing, Chapter on If somebody dies without fulfiling a vow in Sahih AlBukhari
SahihAlBukhari-017-001-2898 | Narrated Ibn Abbas: For one year I wanted to ask Umar about the two women who helped each other against the Prophet ﷺ but I was afraid of him. One day he dismounted his riding animal and went among the trees of Arak to answer the call of nature; and when he returned; I asked him and he said; They were Aisha and Hafsa. Then he added; We never used to give significance to ladies in the days of the Pre-lslamic period of ignorance; but when Islam came and Allah mentioned their rights; we used to give them their rights but did not allow them to interfere in our affairs. Once there was some dispute between me and my wife and she answered me back in a loud voice. I said to her; Strange! You can retort in this way? She said; Yes. Do you say this to me while your daughter troubles Allah Messenger ﷺ ? So I went to Hafsa and said to her; I warn you not to disobey Allah and His Apostle. I first went to Hafsa and then to Umm Salamah and told her the same. She said to me; O Umar! It surprises me that you interfere in our affairs so much that you would poke your nose even into the affairs of Allah Messenger ﷺ and his wives. So she rejected my advice. There was an Ansari man; whenever he was absent from Allah Messenger ﷺ and I was present there; I used to convey to him what had happened on that day ; and when I was absent and he was present there; he used to convey to me what had happened as regards news from Allah Messenger ﷺ. During that time all the rulers of the nearby lands had surrendered to Allah Messenger ﷺ except the king of Ghassan in Sham; and we were afraid that he might attack us. All of a sudden the Ansari came and said; A great event has happened! I asked him; What is it? Has the Ghassani king come? He said; Greater than that! Allah Messenger ﷺ has divorced his wives! I went to them and found all of them weeping in their dwellings; and the Prophet ﷺ had ascended to an upper room of his. At the door of the room there was a slave to whom I went and said; Ask the permission for me to enter. He admitted me and I entered to see the Prophet ﷺ lying on a mat that had left its imprint on his side. Under his head there was a leather pillow stuffed with palm fires. Behold! There were some hides hanging there and some grass for tanning. Then I mentioned what I had said to Hafsa and Umm Salamah and what reply Umm Salamah had given me. Allah Messenger ﷺ smiled and stayed there for twenty nine days and then came down. SahihAlBukhari-017-001-3950 | Narrated Ibn Masud: The Prophet ﷺ said; Soon others will be preferred to you; and there will be things which you will not like. He said; I order you to give the rights that are on you and to ask your rights from Allah. | The Chapter on Oaths And Pledges Forbidden in HodHood Indexing, Chapter on The signs of Prophethood in Islam in Sahih AlBukhari
SahihAlBukhari-017-001-5112 | Narrated Abu Saeed AlKhudri: The Prophet ﷺ said; Beware! Avoid sitting on he roads ways. The people said; There is no way out of it as these are our sitting places where we have talks. The Prophet ﷺ said; If you must sit there; then observe the rights of the way. They asked; What are the rights of the way? He said; They are the lowering of your gazes on seeing what is illegal to look at ; refraining from harming people; returning greetings; advocating good and forbidding evil. | The Chapter on Obligations Of Fasting in HodHood Indexing, Chapter on Open courtyards of houses and sitting on the ways in Sahih AlBukhari
SahihAlBukhari-017-001-6456 | Narrated Ikrima Bin Khalid: Ibn Umar said; I went to Hafsa while water was dribbling from her twined braids. I said; The condition of the people is as you see; and no authority has been given to me. Hafsa said; to me ; Go to them; and as they i.e. the people are waiting for you; and I am afraid your absence from them will produce division amongst them. So Hafsa did not leave Ibn Umar till we went to them. When the people differed. Muawiya addressed the people saying; If anybody wants to say anything in this matter of the Caliphate; he should show up and not conceal himself; for we are more rightful to be a Caliph than he and his father. On that; Habib Bin Masalama said to Ibn Umar ; Why dont you reply to him i.e. Muawiya ? Abdullah Bin Umar said; I untied my garment that was going round my back and legs while I was sitting and was about to say; He who fought against you and against your father for the sake of Islam; is more rightful to be a Caliph; but I was afraid that my statement might produce differences amongst the people and cause bloodshed; and my statement might be interpreted not as I intended. So I kept quiet remembering what Allah has prepared in the Gardens of Paradise for those who are patient and prefer the Hereafter to this worldly life. Habib said; You did what kept you safe and secure i.e. you were wise in doing so. | The Chapter on Life And Death And Dyeing in HodHood Indexing, Chapter on The Ghazwa of AlKhandaq or AlAhzab Battle in Sahih AlBukhari |

So he thanked and praised Allah and he reminded and gave admonition. He mentioned a story in his narration and he the Prophet said: And indeed I order you to be good to the women; for they are but captives with you over whom you have no power than that; except if they come with manifest Fahishah evil behavior. If they do that; then abandon their beds and beat them with a beating that is not harmful. And if they obey you then you have no cause against them. Indeed you have rights over your women; and your women have rights over you. As for your rights over your women; then they must not allow anyone whom you dislike to treat on your bedding furniture ; nor to admit anyone in your home that you dislike. SunanAlTermithi-017-001-9964 | Narrated Sulaiman Bin Amr Bin AlAhwas: My father narrated to me that he attended the Farewell Hajj with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. He ﷺ expressed his gratitude to Allah and praised Him; and reminded and exhorted; then he said: Which day is most sacred? Which day is most sacred? Which day is most sacred? He said: So the people said: The day of AlHajj AlAkbar O Messenger of Allah! So he said: Indeed; your blood; your wealth; your honor; is as sacred for you as the sacredness of this day of yours; in this city of yours; in this month of yours. Behold! None commits a crime but against himself; none offends a father for a son; nor a son for a father. Behold! Indeed the Muslim is the brother of the Muslim; so it is not lawful for the Muslim to do anything to his brother; which is not lawful to be done to himself. Behold! All Riba from Aljahiliyah is invalid; for you is the principle of your wealth; but your are not to wrong nor be wronged - except in the case of Riba of AlAbbas Bin Abd AlMuttalib - otherwise it is all invalid. Behold! All retribution regarding cases of blood during Aljahiliyah are invalid. The first case of blood retribution invalidated among those of Aljahiliyah; is the blood of AlHarith Bin Abd AlMuttalib who was nursed among Banu Laith and killed by Hudhail. Behold! I order you to treat women well; for they are but like captives with you; you have no sovereignty beyond this over them; unless they manifest lewdness. If they do that; then abandon their beds; and beat them with a beating that is not painful. Then if they obey you; then there is no cause for you against them beyond that. Behold! There are rights for you upon your women; and rights for your women upon you. SunanAlNasai-017-001-12427 | It was narrated from AlZubair Bin AlAwam that: He disputed with a man among Ansar who had been present at Badr with the Messenger of Allah SAWSYMOBOL; concerning a stream in AlHarrah from which they both used to water their date palm trees. The Ansari said: Let the water flow. But he AlZubair refused. The Messenger of Allah SAWSYMOBOL said: Irrigate your land ; O Zubair! Then let the water flow to your neighbor. The Ansari became angry and said; O Messenger of Allah; is it because he is your cousin? The face of the Messenger of Allah SAWSYMOBOL changed color because of anger and he said: O Zubair! Irrigate your land then block the water; until it flows back to the walls. So the Messenger of Allah SAWSYMOBOL allowed AlZubair to take his rights in full; although before that he had suggested to AlZubair a middle way that benefited both him and the Ansari. But when the Ansari made the Messenger of Allah SAWSYMOBOL angry; he gave AlZubair his rights in full; as stated clearly in his ruling. AlZubair said: I think that this Verse was revealed concerning this matter: But no; by your Lord; they can have no faith; until they make you O Muhammad judge in all disputes between them. | The Chapter on Farming And Irrigation Trees in HodHood Indexing, Chapter on Concession Allowing a Trustworthy Judge to Pass Judgment When He is Angry in Sunan AlNasai |

MuwataMalik-017-001-34908 | Yahya said that Malik spoke about a man who died and had a debt owing to him and there was one witness; and some people had a debt against him and they had only one witness; and his heirs refused to take an oath on their rights with their witness. He said; The creditors take an oath and take their rights. If there is anything left over; the heirs do not take any of it. That is because the oaths were offered to them before and they abandoned them; unless they say; We did not know that our companion had extra; and it is known that they only abandoned the oaths because of that.
