They said; You have conveyed Allah message; O Aba AlQasim Allah Messenger ﷺ then said to them; That is what I want; embrace Islam and you will be safe. They said; You have conveyed the message; O Aba AlQasim. Allah Messenger ﷺ then said to them; That is what I want; and repeated his words for the third time and added; Know that the earth is for Allah and I want to exile you from this land; so whoever among you has property he should sell it; otherwise; know that the land is for Allah and His Apostle. | The Chapter on Pre-Islam And Jews in HodHood Indexing, Chapter on But man is ever more quarrelsome than anything in Sahih AlBukhari
SahihAlBukhari-017-001-6306 | Narrated Abdullah Bin Masud: From Saad Bin Muadh: Saad Bin Muadh was an intimate friend of Umaiya Bin Khalaf and whenever Umaiya passed through Medina; he used to stay with Sad; and whenever Saad went to Mecca; he used to stay with Umaiya. When Allah Messenger ﷺ arrived at Medina; Saad went to perform Umra and stayed at Umaiya home in Mecca. He said to Umaiya; Tell me of a time when the Masjid is empty so that I may be able to perform Tawaf around the Kaba. So Umaiya went with him about midday. Abu Jahl met them and said; O Abu Safwan! Who is this man accompanying you? He said; He is Sad. Abu Jahl addressed Saad saying; I see you wandering about safely in Mecca inspite of the fact that you have given shelter to the people who have changed their religion i.e. became Muslims and have claimed that you will help them and support them. By Allah; if you were not in the company of Abu Safwan; you would not be able to go your family safely. Sad; raising his voice; said to him; By Allah; if you should stop me from doing this i.e. performing Tawaf I would certainly prevent you from something which is more valuable for you; that is; your passage through Medina. On this; Umaiya said to him; O Saad do not raise your voice before Abu AlHakam; the chief of the people of the Valley of Mecca. Saad said; O Umaiya; stop that! By Allah; I have heard Allah Messenger ﷺ predicting that the Muslim will kill you. Umaiya asked; In Mecca? Saad said; I do not know. Umaiya was greatly scared by that news. When Umaiya returned to his family; he said to his wife; O Um Safwan! Dont you know what Saad told me? She said; What has he told you? He replied; He claims that Muhammad has informed them i.e. companions that they will kill me. I asked him; In Mecca? He replied; I do not know. Then Umaiya added; By Allah; I will never go out of Mecca. But when the day of the Ghazwa of Badr came; Abu Jahl called the people to war; saying; Go and protect your caravan. But Umaiya disliked to go out of Mecca. Abu Jahl came to him and said; O Abu Safwan! If the people see you staying behind though you are the chief of the people of the Valley; then they will remain behind with you. Abu Jahl kept on urging him to go until he i.e. Umaiya said; As you have forced me to change my mind; by Allah; I will buy the best camel in Mecca. Then Umaiya said to his wife. O Um Safwan; prepare what I need for the journey. She said to him; O Abu Safwan! Have you forgotten what your Yathribi brother told you? He said; No; but I do not want to go with them but for a short distance. So when Umaiya went out; he used to tie his camel wherever he camped. He kept on doing that till Allah caused him to be killed at Badr. | The Chapter on Makkah And Almadinah in HodHood Indexing, Chapter on The Prophets prediction about whom he thought would be killed at Badr in Sahih AlBukhari |

We went out with him until we came to them. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ stood up and called out to them saying : O ye assembly of Jews; accept Islam and you will be safe. They said: Ab AlQasim; you have communicated God Message to us. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: I want this i. e. you should admit that God Message has been communicated to you ; accept Islam and you would be safe. They said: Ab AlQisim; you have communicated Allah Message. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: I want this... - He said to them the same words the third time and on getting the same reply he added: You should know that the earth belongs to Allah and His Apostle; and I wish that I should expel you from this land Those of you who have any property with them should sell it; otherwise they should know that the earth belongs to Allah and His Apostle and they may have to go away leaving everything behind. | The Chapter on Wishes And Grants in HodHood Indexing, Chapter on 20 in Sahih Muslim
SahihMuslim-017-001-18088 | It has been narrated on the authority of Abdullah Bin Rabah who said: We came to Muawiya Bin Abu Sufyan as a deputation and Abu Huraira was among us. Each of us would prepare food for his companions turn by turn for a day. Accordingly when it was my turn I said: Abu Huraira; it is my turn today. So they came to my place. The food was not yet ready; so I said to Abu Huraira: I wish you could narrate to us a tradition from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ until the food was ready. Complying with my request Abu Huraira said: We were with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ on the day of the Conquest of Mecca. He appointed Khalid Bin Walid as commander of the right flank; AlZubair as commander of the left flank; and Abu Ubaida as commander of the foot-soldiers who were to advance to the interior of the valley. He then said: Abu Huraira; call the Ansar to me. So I called out to them and they came hurriedly. He said: O ye Assembly of the Ansaar; do you see the ruffians of the Quraish? They said: Yes. He said: See; when you meet them tomorrow; wipe them out. He hinted at this with his hand; placing his right hand on his left and said: You will meet us at AlSafa. Abu Huraira continued : Whoever was seen by them that day was put to death. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ ascended the mount of AlSafa. The Ansar also came there and surrounded the mount. Then came Abu Sufyan and said: Messenger ot Allah; the Quraish have perished. No member of the Quraish tribe will survive this day. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: Who enters the house of Abu Safyin will be safe; who lays down arms will be safe; who locks his door will be safe. some of the Ansar said: After all the man has been swayed by tenderness towards his family and love for his city. At this; Divine inspiration descended upon the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. He said: You were saying that the man has been swayed by tenderness towards his family and love for his city. Do you know what my name is? I am Muhammad; the bondman of God and His Messenger. He repeated this thrice. I left my native place for the take of Allah and joined you. So I will live with you and die with you. Now the Ansar said: By God; we said that only out of our greed for Allah and His Messenger. He said: Allah and His Apostle testify to you and accept your apology. | The Chapter on Alansar And Quraish in HodHood Indexing, Chapter on 31 in Sahih Muslim |

MuwataMalik-017-001-35419 | Yahya related to me from Malik from a man of Kufa that Umar Ibn AlKhattab wrote to a lieutenant of an army which he had sent out; I have heard that it is the habit of some of your men to chase an unbeliever till he takes refuge in a high place. Then one man tells him in Persian not to be afraid; and when he comes up to him; he kills him. By He in whose hand my self is; if I knew someone who had done that; I would strike off his head. Yahya said; I heard Malik say; This tradition is not unanimously agreed upon; so one does not act on it. Malik when asked whether safe conduct promised by gesture had the same status as that promised by speech; said; Yes. I think that one can request an army not to kill someone by gesturing for safe conduct; because as far as I am concerned; gesture has the same status as speech. I have heard that Abdullah Ibn Abbas said; There is no people who betray a pledge; but that Allah gives their enemies power over them. | The Chapter on Hand Gestures Pointing in HodHood Indexing, The Book of Jihad in Muwata Malik |
