SahihAlBukhari-017-001-2367Narrated Anas: The climate of Medina did not suit some people; so the Prophet ﷺ ordered them to follow his shepherd; i.e. his camels; and drink their milk and urine as a medicine. So they followed the shepherd that is the camels and drank their milk and urine till their bodies became healthy. Then they killed the shepherd and drove away the camels. When the news reached the Prophet ﷺ he sent some people in their pursuit. SahihAlBukhari-017-001-2400Narrated Anas Bin Malik: Some people from the tribes of Ukl and Uraina came to Allah Messenger ﷺ and embraced Islam and said; O Allah Messenger ﷺ ! We are owners of livestock and have never been farmers; and they found the climate of Medina unsuitable for them. So Allah Messenger ﷺ ordered that they be given some camels and a shepherd; and ordered them to go out with those camels and drink their milk and urine. So they set out; but when they reached a place called AlHarra; they reverted to disbelief after their conversion to Islam; killed the shepherd and drove away the camels. When this news reached the Prophet ﷺ he sent in their pursuit and they were caught and brought. The Prophet ﷺ ordered that their eyes be branded with heated iron bars and their hands be cut off; and they were left at AlHarra till they died in that state. The Chapter on Camels And Herdsmen Milk And Urine in HodHood Indexing, Chapter on Whoever went out of a land because of its climate and water in Sahih AlBukhari
SahihAlBukhari-017-001-2494Narrated Ibn Umar: Allah Messenger ﷺ said; While three persons were traveling; they were overtaken by rain and they took shelter in a cave in a mountain. A big rock fell from the mountain over the mouth of the cave and blocked it. They said to each other. Think of such good righteous deeds which; you did for Allah sake only; and invoke Allah by giving reference to those deeds so that Allah may relieve you from your difficulty. one of them said; O Allah! I had my parents who were very old and I had small children for whose sake I used to work as a shepherd. When I returned to them at night and milked the sheep ; I used to start giving the milk to my parents first before giving to my children. And one day I went far away in search of a grazing place for my sheep ; and didnt return home till late at night and found that my parents had slept. I milked my livestock as usual and brought the milk vessel and stood at their heads; and I disliked to wake them up from their sleep; and I also disliked to give the milk to my children before my parents though my children were crying from hunger at my feet. So this state of mine and theirs continued till the day dawned. O Allah! If you considered that I had done that only for seeking Your pleasure; then please let there be an opening through which we can see the sky. So Allah made for them an opening through which they could see the sky. Then the second person said; O Allah! I had a cousin whom I loved as much as a passionate man love a woman. I tried to seduce her but she refused till I paid her one-hundred Dinars So I worked hard till I collected one hundred Dinars and went to her with that But when I sat in between her legs to have sexual intercourse with her ; she said; O Allah slave! Be afraid of Allah ! Do not deflower me except legally by marriage contract. So I left her O Allah! If you considered that I had done that only for seeking Your pleasure then please let the rock move a little to have a wider opening. So Allah shifted that rock to make the opening wider for them. And the last third person said O Allah ! I employed a laborer for wages equal to a Faraq a certain measure: of rice; and when he had finished his job he demanded his wages; but when I presented his due to him; he gave it up and refused to take it. Then I kept on sowing that rice for him several times till managed to buy with the price of the yield; some cows and their shepherd Later on the laborer came to me an said. O Allah slave! Be afraid o Allah; and do not be unjust to me an give me my due. I said to him. Go and take those cows and their shepherd. So he took them and went away. So; O Allah! If You considered that I had done that for seeking Your pleasure; then please remove the remaining part of the rock. And so Allah released them from their difficulty. The Chapter on Love And Emotions And Child in HodHood Indexing, Chapter on The invocation of the person who is dutiful to his parents if fulfilled in Sahih AlBukhari

SahihAlBukhari-017-001-3336Narrated AlBara: Abu Bakr bought a camel saddle from Azib for thirteen Dirhams. Abu Bakr said to Azib; Tell AlBara to carry the saddle for me. Azib said; No; unless you relate to me what happened to you and Allah Messenger ﷺ when you left Mecca while the pagans were in search of you. Abu Bakr said; We left Mecca and we traveled continuously for that night and the following day till it was midday. I looked around searching for shade to take as shelter; and suddenly I came across a rock; and found a little shade there. So I cleaned the place and spread a bed for the Prophet ﷺ in the shade and said to him; Lie down; O Allah Messenger ﷺ. So the Prophet ﷺ lay down and I went out; looking around to see if there was any person pursuing us. Suddenly I saw a shepherd driving his sheep towards the rock; seeking what we had already sought from it. I asked him; To whom do you belong; O boy? He said; I belong to a man from Quraish. He named the man and I recognized him. I asked him; Is there any milk with your sheep? He said; Yes. I said; Will you then milk some for us? He said; Yes. Then I asked him to tie the legs of one of the sheep and clean its udder; and then ordered him to clean his hands from dust. Then the shepherd cleaned his hands by striking his hands against one another. After doing so; he milked a small amount of milk. I used to keep for Allah Messenger ﷺ a leather water-container; the mouth of which was covered with a piece of cloth. I poured water on the milk container till its lower part was cold. Then I took the milk to the Prophet ﷺ whom I found awake. I said to him; Drink; O Allah Messenger ﷺ. So he drank till I became pleased. Then I said; It is time for us to move; O Allah Apostle! He said; Yes. So we set out while the people i.e. Quraish pagans were searching for us; but none found us except Suraqah Bin Malik Bin Jushum who was riding his horse. I said; These are our pursuers who have found us. O Allah Messenger ﷺ ! SahihAlBukhari-017-001-3962Narrated AlBara Bin Azib: Abu Bakr came to my father who was at home and purchased a saddle from him. He said to Azib. Tell your son to carry it with me. So I carried it with him and my father followed us so as to take the price of the saddle. My father said; O Abu Bakr! Tell me what happened to you on your night journey with Allah Messenger ﷺ during Migration. He said; Yes; we travelled the whole night and also the next day till midday. when nobody could be seen on the way because of the severe heat. Then there appeared a long rock having shade beneath it; and the sunshine had not come to it yet. So we dismounted there and I levelled a place and covered it with an animal hide or dry grass for the Prophet ﷺ to sleep on for a while. I then said; Sleep; O Allah Messenger ﷺ ; and I will guard you. So he slept and I went out to guard him. Suddenly I saw a shepherd coming with his sheep to that rock with the same intention we had when we came to it. I asked him. To whom do you belong; O boy? He replied; I belong to a man from Medina or Mecca. I said; Do your sheep have milk? He said; Yes. I said; Will you milk for us? He said; Yes. He caught hold of a sheep and I asked him to clean its teat from dust; hairs and dirt. The sub-narrator said that he saw AlBara striking one of his hands with the other; demonstrating how the shepherd removed the dust. The shepherd milked a little milk in a wooden container and I had a leather container which I carried for the Prophet ﷺ to drink and perform the ablution from. I went to the Prophet; hating to wake him up; but when I reached there; the Prophet ﷺ had already awakened; so I poured water over the middle part of the milk container; till the milk was cold. Then I said; Drink; O Allah Messenger ﷺ ! He drank till I was pleased. Then he asked; Has the time for our departure come? I said; Yes. So we departed after midday. Suraqa Bin Malik followed us and I said; We have been discovered; O Allah Messenger ﷺ ! He said; Dont grieve for Allah is with us. The Prophet ﷺ invoked evil on him i.e. Suraqa and so the legs of his horse sank into the earth up to its belly. The subnarrator; Zuhair is not sure whether Abu Bakr said; It sank into solid earth. Suraqa said; I see that you have invoked evil on me. Please invoke good on me; and by Allah; I will cause those who are seeking after you to return. The Prophet ﷺ invoked good on him and he was saved. Then; whenever he met somebody on the way; he would say; I have looked for him here in vain. So he caused whomever he met to return. Thus Suraqa fulfilled his promise. The Chapter on Milk in HodHood Indexing, Chapter on The signs of Prophethood in Islam in Sahih AlBukhari

While he was offering his prayers; his mother came and called him. He said to himself ; Shall I answer her or keep on praying? He went on praying and did not answer her; his mother said; O Allah! Do not let him die till he sees the faces of prostitutes. So while he was in his hermitage; a lady came and sought to seduce him; but he refused. So she went to a shepherd and presented herself to him to commit illegal sexual intercourse with her and then later she gave birth to a child and claimed that it belonged to Juraij. The people; therefore; came to him and dismantled his hermitage and expelled him out of it and abused him. Juraij performed the ablution and offered prayer; and then came to the child and said; O child! Who is your father? The child replied; The shepherd. After hearing this the people said; We shall rebuild your hermitage of gold; but he said; No; of nothing but mud. SahihMuslim-017-001-19679Abu Huraira reported that Juraij was one who was devoted to prayer in the temple. His mother came to him. Humaid said that Abu Rafi demonstrated before us like the demonstration made by Abu Huraira to whom Allah Messenger ﷺ had demonstrated as his mother called him placing her palms upon the eyebrows and lifting her head for calling him and said: Juraij; it is your mother; so talk to her. She found him at that time absorbed in prayer; so he said to himself : O Lord; my mother is calling me whereas I am absorbed in my prayer. He opted for prayer. She his mother went back; then came again for the second time and said: O Juraij; it is your mother calling you ; so talk to me. He said: O Allah. there is my mother also and my prayer; and he opted for prayer. She said: O Allah; this Juraij is my son. I pray to talk to him but he refuses to talk to me. O Allah; dont bring death to him unless he has seen the prostitutes; and had she invoked the curse upon him from the heart of her heart he would have been involved in some turmoil. There was a shepherd living near by his temple the temple where Juraij was engaged in prayer. It so happened that a woman of that village came there and that shepherd committed fornication with her and she became pregnant and gave birth to a child. It was said to her: Whose child is this? She said: He is the child of one who is living in this temple. So there came persons with hatchets and spades. They called Juraij. He was absorbed in prayer and he did not talk to them and they were about to demolish that temple that he saw them and then came to them and they said: Ask her this woman what she says. He smiled and then touched the head of the child and said: Who is your father? He the child said: My father is the shepherd of the sheep; and when they heard this; they said: We are prepared to rebuild with gold and silver what we have demolished from your temple. He said: No; rebuild it with clay as it had been before. He then went up to his room and absorbed himself in prayer. The Chapter on Mother And Ansar in HodHood Indexing, Chapter on 2 in Sahih Muslim
