Ibn Umar sent Khabbab to Aisha in order to ask her about the words of Abu Huraira and also told him to come back to him Ibn Umar and inform him what Aisha said. In the meanwhile Ibn Umar took up a handful of pebbles and turned them over in his hand till the messenger Khabbab came back to him and told him that Aisha testified the statement of Abu Huraira. Ibn Umar threw the pebbles he had in his hand on the ground and then said: We missed a large number of qirats.

We said: Messenger of Allah; we missed you and searched for you; but we could not find you and we spent the worst night which people could ever spend. He the Holy Prophet said: There came to me an inviter on behalf of the Jinn and I went along with him and recited to them the Quran. He the narrator said: He then went along with us and showed us their traces and traces of their embers. They the Jinn asked him the Holy Prophet about their provision and he said: Every bone on which the name of Allah is recited is your provision. The time it will fall in your hand it would be covered with flesh; and the dung of the camels is fodder for your animals. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: Dont perform istinja with these things for these are the food of your brothers Jinn.

Abu Bakr greeted the Prophet ﷺ and said; O Allah Messenger ﷺ ! There was something i.e. quarrel between me and the Son of AlKhattab. I talked to him harshly and then regretted that; and requested him to forgive me; but he refused. This is why I have come to you. The Prophet ﷺ said thrice; O Abu Bakr! May Allah forgive you. In the meanwhile; Umar regretted his refusal of Abu Bakr excuse and went to Abu Bakr house and asked if Abu Bakr was there. They replied in the negative. So he came to the Prophet ﷺ and greeted him; but signs of displeasure appeared on the face of the Prophet ﷺ till Abu Bakr pitied Umar ; so he knelt and said twice; O Allah Messenger ﷺ ! By Allah! I was more unjust to him than he to me. The Prophet ﷺ said; Allah sent me as a Prophet to you people but you said to me ; You are telling a lie; while Abu Bakr said; He has said the truth; and consoled me with himself and his money. He then said twice; Wont you then give up harming my companion? After that nobody harmed Abu Bakr.

    Narrated Rabia: Umar Bin AlKhattab recited Surat AlNahl on a Friday on the pulpit and when he reached the verse of AlSajda he got down from the pulpit and prostrated and the people also prostrated. The next Friday Umar Bin AlKhattab recited the same Surat and when he reached the verse of AlSajda he said; O people! When we recite the verses of AlSajda during the sermon whoever prostrates does the right thing; yet it is no sin for the one who does not prostrate. And Umar did not prostrate that day. Added Ibn Umar Allah has not made the prostration of recitation compulsory but if we wish we can do it.

He said: How many pronouncements of divorce have been made for you? I said: Three. He said what he Ayish Bin Abu Rabia had stated was true. There is no maintenance allowance for you. Spend Idda period in the house of your cousin; Ibn Umm Maktum. He is blind and you can put off your garment in his presence. And when you have spent your Idda period; you inform me. She said: Muawiya and Ab AlJahm Allah be pleased with them were among those who had given me the proposal of marriage. Thereupon Allah Apostle ﷺ said: Muawiya is destitute and in poor condition and Ab AlJahm is very harsh with women or he beats women; or like that ; you should take Usama Bin Zaid as your husband.

Thereupon Umar said: I do not mean that turmoil on a small scale but that one which would emerge like the mounting waves of the ocean. I said: Commander of the Faithful; you have nothing to do with it; for the door is closed between you and that. He said: Would that door be broken or opened? I said: No; it would be broken. Thereupon he said: Then it would not be closed despite best efforts. We said to Hudhaifa: Did Umar know the door? Thereupon he said: Yes; he knew it for certain just as one knows that night precedes the next day. And I narrated to him something in which there was nothing fabricated. Shaqiq one of the narrators said: We dared not ask Hudhaifa about that door. So we requested Masruq to ask him. So he asked him and he said: By that door; he meant Umar.

    Shubah narrated from Mansur who said: I heard Mujahid narrating from Abu Ayash AlZuraqi- Shubah said: He had written it for me; and I read it before him; and I heard him narrating it; rather; I even memorized it. Ibn Bashshar said: I memorized it from the book- The Prophet ﷺ was drawing up ranks facing the enemy in Usfan when the idolaters were led by Khalid Bin AlWalid. The Prophet ﷺ led them in praying Zuhr. The idolaters said: They have a prayer after this that is dearer to them than their wealth and sons. Then the Messenger of Allah ﷺ led them in praying Asr. He divided them into two rows; behind him. He led them all in bowing; then when they raised their heads he led the row that was closest to him in prostrating; while the others remained standing. When they raised their heads from prostration; the second row prostrated; as they had already bowed with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. Then the front row moved forward; so each of them took the place of his companion. Then the Messenger of Allah ﷺ led them all in bowing; then when they raised their heads from bowing; the row that was closest to him prostrated while the others remained standing; then when they had finished prostrating; the others prostrated; then the Prophet ﷺ said the taslim for all of them together.
