Then I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ ascend it and praying on it; and saying the Takbir while he was on top of it; then he bowed when he was on top of it; then he came down backward and prostrated at the base of the Minbar; then he went back. When he had finished he turned to face the people and said: O people; I only did this so that you can follow me in prayer and learn how I pray.follow me in prayer and learn how I pray.)

So he came to the Prophet ﷺ and greeted him; but signs of displeasure appeared on the face of the Prophet ﷺ till Abu Bakr pitied Umar ; so he knelt and said twice; O Allah Messenger ﷺ ! By Allah! I was more unjust to him than he to me. The Prophet ﷺ said; Allah sent me as a Prophet to you people but you said to me ; You are telling a lie; while Abu Bakr said; He has said the truth; and consoled me with himself and his money. He then said twice; Wont you then give up harming my companion? After that nobody harmed Abu Bakr.panion? After that nobody harmed Abu Bakr.)

Then I heard a voice and feared that something might have happened to Allah Messenger ﷺ ; and I intended to go to find out but I remembered the statement of Allah Messenger ﷺ that I should not leave; my place; so I kept on waiting and after a while the Prophet ﷺ came ; and I said to him; O Allah Messenger ﷺ ; I heard a voice and I was afraid that something might have happened to you; but then I remembered your statement and stayed there. The Prophet ﷺ said; That was Gabriel who came to me and informed me that whoever among my followers died without joining others in worship with Allah; would enter Paradise. I said; O Allah Messenger ﷺ ! Even if he had committed illegal sexual intercourse and theft? Then he proceeded in the darkness of the night till he went out of sight; and then I heard a loud voice; and was afraid that something might have happened to the Prophet ﷺ.1 intended to go to him; but I remembered what he had said to me; i.e. Dont leave your place till I come back to you; so I remained at my place till he came back to me. I said; O Allah Messenger ﷺ ! I heard a voice and I was afraid. So I mentioned the whole story to him. He said; Did you hear it? I replied; Yes. He said; It was Gabriel who came to me and said; Whoever died without joining others in worship with Allah; will enter Paradise. I asked Gabriel ; Even if he had committed theft or committed illegal sexual intercourse?
