The Messenger of Allah ﷺ sent word to so-and-so - a woman whose name Sahl mentioned - telling her: Tell your carpenter slave to make me something of wood that I can sit on when I speak to the people. So she told him; and he made it from tamarisk wood from AlGhabah a place near AlMadinah. Then he brought it and it was sent to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ ; who commanded that it be set up here. Then I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ ascend it and praying on it; and saying the Takbir while he was on top of it; then he bowed when he was on top of it; then he came down backward and prostrated at the base of the Minbar; then he went back. When he had finished he turned to face the people and said: O people; I only did this so that you can follow me in prayer and learn how I pray.

I was more unjust to him than he to me. The Prophet ﷺ said; Allah sent me as a Prophet to you people but you said to me ; You are telling a lie; while Abu Bakr said; He has said the truth; and consoled me with himself and his money. He then said twice; Wont you then give up harming my companion? After that nobody harmed Abu Bakr.

Would it have pleased you if you had obeyed Allah and His Apostle? We have found true what our Lord promised us. Have you too found true what your Lord promised you? Umar said; O Allah Messenger ﷺ ! You are speaking to bodies that have no souls! Allah Messenger ﷺ said; By Him in Whose Hand Muhammad soul is; you do not hear; what I say better than they do. Qatada said; Allah brought them to life again to let them hear him; to reprimand them and slight them and take revenge over them and caused them to feel remorseful and regretful.

  Narrated Abu Thalaba AlKhushani: The Prophet ﷺ forbade the eating of wild animals having fangs. AlZuhri said: I did not hear this narration except when I went to Sham. AlLaith said: Narrated Yunus: I asked Ibn Shihab; May we perform the ablution with the milk of asses or drink it; or drink the bile of wild animals or urine of camels? He replied; The Muslims used to treat themselves with that and did not see any harm in it. As for the milk of asses; we have learnt that Allah Messenger ﷺ forbade the eating of their meat; but we have not received any information whether drinking of their milk is allowed or forbidden. As for the bile of wild animals; Ibn Shihab said; Abu Idris AlKhaulani told me that Allah Messenger ﷺ forbade the eating of the flesh of every wild beast having fangs.
