Then I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ ascend it and praying on it; and saying the Takbir while he was on top of it; then he bowed when he was on top of it; then he came down backward and prostrated at the base of the Minbar; then he went back. When he had finished he turned to face the people and said: O people; I only did this so that you can follow me in prayer and learn how I pray.follow me in prayer and learn how I pray.)

Thereupon he said: Then it would not be closed despite best efforts. We said to Hudhaifa: Did Umar know the door? Thereupon he said: Yes; he knew it for certain just as one knows that night precedes the next day. And I narrated to him something in which there was nothing fabricated. In the meanwhile; Umar regretted his refusal of Abu Bakr excuse and went to Abu Bakr house and asked if Abu Bakr was there. They replied in the negative. So he came to the Prophet ﷺ and greeted him; but signs of displeasure appeared on the face of the Prophet ﷺ till Abu Bakr pitied Umar ; so he knelt and said twice; O Allah Messenger ﷺ ! By Allah! I was more unjust to him than he to me. The Prophet ﷺ said; Allah sent me as a Prophet to you people but you said to me ; You are telling a lie; while Abu Bakr said; He has said the truth; and consoled me with himself and his money. He then said twice; Wont you then give up harming my companion? After that nobody harmed Abu Bakr.panion? After that nobody harmed Abu Bakr.)

After saying that; the person retreated and sat by the side of the pillar; I followed him and sat beside him; and I did not know who he was. I said to him; I think the people disliked what you had said. He said; These people do not understand anything; although my friend told me. I asked; Who is your friend? He said; The Prophet ﷺ said to me ; O Abu Dhar! Do you see the mountain of Uhud? And on that I Abu Dhar started looking towards the sun to judge how much remained of the day as I thought that Allah Messenger ﷺ wanted to send me to do something for him and I said; Yes! He said; I do not love to have gold equal to the mountain of Uhud unless I spend it all in Allah cause except three Dinars pounds. These people do not understand and collect worldly wealth. No; by Allah; Neither I ask them for worldly benefits nor am I in need of their religious advice till I meet Allah; The Honorable; The Majestic.I meet Allah; The Honorable; The Majestic.)

He says: Owner of the Day of Reckoning. He says: My slave has glorified Me. And this is for Me; and between Me and My slave is: It is You alone whom we worship and it is You alone from whom we seek aid until the end of the Surah This is for My slave and My slave shall have what he asks for. So he says: Guide us to the straight path. The path of those upon whom You have bestowed your favor; not those with whom is Your wrath; now those who are astray.m is Your wrath; now those who are astray.)

Then he said; By Him; except Whom none has the right to be worshipped; here at this place stood the one on whom Surat AlBaqra was revealed i.e. Allah Messenger ﷺ.Baqra was revealed i.e. Allah Messenger ﷺ.)

He said: I was sent out by Allah Messenger ﷺ for some job and I became Junub and could not find water so I rolled myself over the dust clean earth like an animal does; and when I told the Prophet ﷺ of that he said; Like this would have been sufficient. The Prophet ﷺ saying so lightly stroked the earth with his hand once and blew it off; then passed his left hand over the back of his right hand or his right hand over the back of his left hand and then passed them over his face. So Abdullah said to Abu Mousa; Dont you know that Umar was not satisfied with Ammar statement? Narrated Shaqiq: While I was with Abdullah and Abu Mousa; the latter said to the former; Havent you heard the statement of Ammar to Umar? He said; Allah Messenger ﷺ sent you and me out and I became Junub and rolled myself in the dust clean earth for Tayammum. When we came to Allah Apostle I told him about it and he said; This would have been sufficient; passing his hands over his face and the backs of his hands once only.face and the backs of his hands once only.)

I was a poor man; and used to stick to Allah Messenger ﷺ contented with what will fill my stomach; and the Muhajirin emigrants used to be busy trading in the markets; and the Ansar used to be busy looking after their properties. One-day I heard Allah Messenger ﷺ saying; Who will spread his Rida a garment covering the upper part of the body till I finished my speech and then fold it; i.e. wrap it over your body ; in which case he will never forget anything he had heard from me. So I spread my garment which I was wearing; and by Him Who sent Muhammad with the Truth; ever since; I have never forgotten whatever I heard from him the Prophet See; Hadith No. 119; Vol. 1im the Prophet See; Hadith No. 119; Vol. 1)
