The Messenger of Allah ﷺ sent word to so-and-so - a woman whose name Sahl mentioned - telling her: Tell your carpenter slave to make me something of wood that I can sit on when I speak to the people. So she told him; and he made it from tamarisk wood from AlGhabah a place near AlMadinah. Then he brought it and it was sent to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ ; who commanded that it be set up here. Then I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ ascend it and praying on it; and saying the Takbir while he was on top of it; then he bowed when he was on top of it; then he came down backward and prostrated at the base of the Minbar; then he went back. When he had finished he turned to face the people and said: O people; I only did this so that you can follow me in prayer and learn how I pray.

  Narrated AlZuhri: Urwa Bin AlZubair said that he asked Aisha about the meaning of the Quranic Verse:- And if you fear that you will not deal fairly with the orphan girls then marry other women of your choice. 4.2-3 Aisha said; It is about a female orphan under the guardianship of her guardian who is inclined towards her because of her beauty and wealth; and likes to marry her with a Mahr less than what is given to women of her standard. So they i.e. guardians were forbidden to marry the orphans unless they paid them a full appropriate Mahr otherwise they were ordered to marry other women instead of them. Later on the people asked Allah Messenger ﷺ about it. So Allah revealed the following Verse:- They ask your instruction O Muhammad! regarding women. Say: Allah instructs you regarding them... 4.127 and in this Verse Allah indicated that if the orphan girl was beautiful and wealthy; her guardian would have the desire to marry her without giving her an appropriate Mahr equal to what her peers could get; but if she was undesirable for lack of beauty or wealth; then he would not marry her; but seek to marry some other woman instead of her. So; since he did not marry her when he had no inclination towards her; he had not the right to marry her when he had an interest in her; unless he treated her justly by giving her a full Mahr and securing all her rights.

If you are innocent; then Allah will declare your innocence: but if you have committed a sin; then ask for Allah Forgiveness and repent to him. Aisha said; By Allah; I find no example for my case except that of Joseph father when he said ; So for me patience is most fitting. We have been told also that when Allah revealed the order that the Muslims should return to the pagans what they had spent on their wives who emigrated after embracing Islam and that the Muslims should not keep unbelieving women as their wives; Umar divorced two of his wives; Qariba; the daughter of Abu Umayah and the daughter of Jarwal AlKhuzai. Later on Muawiya married Qariba and Abu Jahm married the other. When the pagans refused to pay what the Muslims had spent on their wives; Allah revealed: And if any of your wives have gone from you to the unbelievers and you have an accession by the coming over of a woman from the other side then pay to those whose wives have gone the equivalent of what they had spent on their Mahr. 60.11 So; Allah ordered that the Muslim whose wife has gone; should be given; as a compensation of the Mahr he had given to his wife; from the Mahr of the wives of the pagans who had emigrated deserting their husbands. We do not know any of the women emigrants who deserted Islam after embracing it. We have also been told that Abu Basir Bin Aasi d AlThaqafi came to the Prophet ﷺ as a Muslim emigrant during the truce. AlAkhnas Bin Shariq wrote to the Prophet ﷺ requesting him to return Abu Basir.

It was only that the people who assumed Ihram in the name of the false deity Mannah; which was in AlMushallal; would not go between AlSafa and AlMarwah. So; Allah Blessed and Most High revealed: So it is not a sin for those who perform Hajj or go Umrah to the House to go between them 2:158. And if it were as you say; then it would be: Then there is no harm on him if he does not go between them. AlZuhri said: I mentioned that to Abu Bakr Bin Abdulrahman Bin AlHarith Bin Hisham. He was surprised at that and he said: Indeed this is knowledge. I had heard some men among the people of knowledge saying that those Arabs who would not go between AlSafa and AlMarwah said; that going between these two rocks is a matter from Aljahiliyah. And others among the Ansar said: We have only been ordered with going around the House; we were not ordered to do so with AlSafa and AlMarwah. They gave me one hundred sheep. I then came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and informed him of it. He asked: Is it only this? The narrator; Mousaddad; said in his other version: Did you say anything other than this? I said: No. He said: Take it; for by my life; some accept if for a worthless chain; but you have done so for a genuine one.
