The Messenger of Allah ﷺ sent word to so-and-so - a woman whose name Sahl mentioned - telling her: Tell your carpenter slave to make me something of wood that I can sit on when I speak to the people. So she told him; and he made it from tamarisk wood from AlGhabah a place near AlMadinah. Then he brought it and it was sent to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ ; who commanded that it be set up here. Then I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ ascend it and praying on it; and saying the Takbir while he was on top of it; then he bowed when he was on top of it; then he came down backward and prostrated at the base of the Minbar; then he went back. When he had finished he turned to face the people and said: O people; I only did this so that you can follow me in prayer and learn how I pray.

The houses have collapsed; our possessions and livestock have been drowned; Please invoke Allah to protect us. So the Prophet ﷺ raised both his hands and said; O Allah! Round about us and not on us. So; in whatever direction he pointed with his hands; the clouds dispersed and cleared away; and Medina sky became clear as a hole in between the clouds. When the Verse:-By no means shall you attain righteousness unless you spend in charity of that which you love. 3.92 Abu Talha got up and said; O Allah Messenger ﷺ ; Allah says:-By no means shall you attain righteousness unless you spend in charity of that which you love. 3.92 and the most beloved of my property to me is the Bairuha garden; so I give it as a charitable gift in Allah Cause and hope to receive good out of it; and to have it stored for me with Allah. So; O Allah Messenger ﷺ ! Dispose it of i.e. utilize it in the way Allah orders you to dispose it of. Allah Messenger ﷺ said; Bravo! That is a fruitful property! That is a fruitful property! I have heard what you have said and I think that you should distribute that garden amongst your relatives.
