Then I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ ascend it and praying on it; and saying the Takbir while he was on top of it; then he bowed when he was on top of it; then he came down backward and prostrated at the base of the Minbar; then he went back. When he had finished he turned to face the people and said: O people; I only did this so that you can follow me in prayer and learn how I pray.follow me in prayer and learn how I pray.)

Thereupon he said: Then it would not be closed despite best efforts. We said to Hudhaifa: Did Umar know the door? Thereupon he said: Yes; he knew it for certain just as one knows that night precedes the next day. And I narrated to him something in which there was nothing fabricated. Shaqiq one of the narrators said: We dared not ask Hudhaifa about that door. So we requested Masruq to ask him. So he came to the Prophet ﷺ and greeted him; but signs of displeasure appeared on the face of the Prophet ﷺ till Abu Bakr pitied Umar ; so he knelt and said twice; O Allah Messenger ﷺ ! By Allah! I was more unjust to him than he to me. The Prophet ﷺ said; Allah sent me as a Prophet to you people but you said to me ; You are telling a lie; while Abu Bakr said; He has said the truth; and consoled me with himself and his money. He then said twice; Wont you then give up harming my companion? After that nobody harmed Abu Bakr.panion? After that nobody harmed Abu Bakr.)

As for the resemblance of the child to its parents: If a man has sexual intercourse with his wife and gets discharge first; the child will resemble the father; and if the woman gets discharge first; the child will resemble her. On that Abdullah Bin Salam said; I testify that you are the Messenger of Allah. Abdullah Bin Salam further said; O Allah Messenger ﷺ ! The Jews are liars; and if they should come to know about my conversion to Islam before you ask them about me ; they would tell a lie about me. The Jews came to Allah Messenger ﷺ and Abdullah went inside the house. Allah Apostle asked the Jews ; What kind of man is Abdullah Bin Salam amongst you? They replied; He is the most learned person amongst us; and the best amongst us; and the son of the best amongst us. Allah Messenger ﷺ said; What do you think if he embraces Islam will you do as he does ? The Jews said; May Allah save him from it. Then Abdullah Bin Salam came out in front of them saying; I testify that None has the right to be worshipped but Allah and that Muhammad is the Apostle of Allah. Thereupon they said; He is the evilest among us; and the son of the evilest amongst us; and continued talking badly of him.st us; and continued talking badly of him.)

We stayed for sometime or as long as Allah wished ; and then Abdulrahman came; scented with yellowish perfume. The Prophet ﷺ said to him What is this? He replied; I got married to an Ansari woman. The Prophet ﷺ asked; What did you pay her? He replied; A gold stone or gold equal to the weight of a date stone. The Prophet ﷺ said to him ; Give a wedding banquet even if with one sheep.a wedding banquet even if with one sheep.)

He replied; I have married a woman from the Ansar. Allah Apostle asked; How much Mahr have you given? He said; A date-stone weight of gold or a golden date-stone. These are the orders for compulsory charity Zakat which Allah Messenger ﷺ had made obligatory for every Muslim; and which Allah had ordered His Apostle to observe: Whoever amongst the Muslims is asked to pay Zakat accordingly; he should pay it to the Zakat collector and whoever is asked more than that what is specified in this script he should not pay it; for twenty-four camels or less; sheep are to be paid as Zakat; for every five camels one sheep is to be paid; and if there are between twenty-five to thirty-five camels; one Bint Makhad is to be paid; and if they are between thirty-six to forty-five camels ; one Bint Labun is to be paid; and if they are between forty-six to sixty camels ; one Hiqqa is to be paid; and if the number is between sixty-one to seventy-five camels ; one Jadha is to be paid; and if the number is between seventy-six to ninety camels ; two Bint Labuns are to be paid; and if they are from ninety-one to one-hundredand twenty camels ; two Hiqqas are to be paid; and if they are over one-hundred and-twenty camels ; for every forty over one-hundred-and-twenty one Bint Labun is to be paid; and for every fifty camels over one-hundred-and-twenty one Hiqqa is to be paid; and who ever has got only four camels; has to pay nothing as Zakat; but if the owner of these four camels wants to give something; he can. If the number of camels increases to five; the owner has to pay one sheep as Zakat. As regards the Zakat for the flock of sheep; if they are between forty and one-hundred-and-twenty sheep; one sheep is to be paid; and if they are between one-hundred-and-twenty to two hundred sheep ; two sheep are to be paid; and if they are between two-hundred to three-hundred sheep ; three sheep are to be paid; and for over three-hundred sheep; for every extra hundred sheep; one sheep is to be paid as Zakat. And if somebody has got less than forty sheep; no Zakat is required; but if he wants to give; he can. For silver the Zakat is one-fortieth of the lot i.e. 2.5% ; and if its value is less than two-hundred Dirhams; Zakat is not required; but if the owner wants to pay he can.red; but if the owner wants to pay he can.)

If a man carrying a quiver full of arrows passed by; the Prophet would say to him ; put scatter its contents for Abu Talha. The Prophet ﷺ would raise his head to look at the enemy; whereupon Abu Talha would say; Let my father and mother be sacrificed for you ! Do not raise your head; lest an arrow of the enemy should hit you. Let my neck be struck rather than your neck. I saw Aisha; the daughter of Abu Bakr; and Um Sulaim rolling up their dresses so that I saw their leg-bangles while they were carrying water skins on their backs and emptying them in the mouths of the wounded people. They would return to refill them and again empty them in the mouths of the wounded people. The sword fell from Abu Talha hand twice or thrice on that day.bu Talha hand twice or thrice on that day.)

Then the Prophet ﷺ got down from his mule and said; I am Allah Slave and His Apostle. Then the pagans were defeated. The Prophet ﷺ distributed the war booty amongst the Tulaqa and Muhajirin i.e. Emigrants and did not give anything to the Ansar. So the Ansar spoke i.e. were dissatisfied and he called them and made them enter a leather tent and said; Wont you be pleased that the people take the sheep and camels; and you take Allah Messenger ﷺ along with you? The Prophet ﷺ added; If the people took their way through a valley and the Ansar took their way through a mountain pass; then I would choose a mountain pass of the Ansar.would choose a mountain pass of the Ansar.)
