    Abu Hazim Bin Dinar narrated that some men came to Sahl Bin Saad AlSaidi. They were wondering what kind of wood the Minbar was made of; so they asked him about that. He said: By Allah; I know what it is made of. I saw it the first day it was set up and the first day the Messenger of Allah ﷺ sat on it. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ sent word to so-and-so - a woman whose name Sahl mentioned - telling her: Tell your carpenter slave to make me something of wood that I can sit on when I speak to the people. So she told him; and he made it from tamarisk wood from AlGhabah a place near AlMadinah. Then he brought it and it was sent to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ ; who commanded that it be set up here. Then I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ ascend it and praying on it; and saying the Takbir while he was on top of it; then he bowed when he was on top of it; then he came down backward and prostrated at the base of the Minbar; then he went back. When he had finished he turned to face the people and said: O people; I only did this so that you can follow me in prayer and learn how I pray.

Thereupon he said: Then it would not be closed despite best efforts. We said to Hudhaifa: Did Umar know the door? Thereupon he said: Yes; he knew it for certain just as one knows that night precedes the next day. And I narrated to him something in which there was nothing fabricated. Shaqiq one of the narrators said: We dared not ask Hudhaifa about that door. So we requested Masruq to ask him. So he asked him and he said: By that door; he meant Umar.

I was more unjust to him than he to me. The Prophet ﷺ said; Allah sent me as a Prophet to you people but you said to me ; You are telling a lie; while Abu Bakr said; He has said the truth; and consoled me with himself and his money. He then said twice; Wont you then give up harming my companion? After that nobody harmed Abu Bakr.

It has prevented me from praying and fasting. He said: I suggest that you should use cotton; for it absorbs the blood. She replied: It is too copious for that. He said: Then take a cloth. She replied: It is too copious for that; for my blood keeps flowing. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: I shall give you two commands; whichever of them you follow; that will be sufficient for you without the other; but you know best whether you are strong enough to follow both of them. He added: This is a stroke of the Devil; so observe your menses for six or seven days; Allah alone knows which it should be; then wash. And when you see that you are purified and quite clean; pray during twenty-three or twenty-four days and nights and fast; for that will be enough for you; and do so every month; just as women menstruate and are purified at the time of their menstruation and their purification. But if you are strong enough to delay the noon Zuhr prayer and advance the afternoon Asr prayer; to wash; and then combine the noon and the afternoon prayer; to delay the sunset prayer and advance the night prayer; to wash; and then combine the two prayers; do so: and to wash at dawn; do so: and fast if you are able to do so if possible.The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: Of the two commands this is more to my liking.1Abu Dawud said: Amr Bin Thabit narrated from Ibn Aqil: Hamnah said: Of the two commands this is the one which is more to my liking.2 In this version these words were not quoted as the statement of the Prophet ﷺ ; it gives it as a statement of Hamnah.Abu Dawud said: Amr Bin Thabit was a Rafidi.     Narrated Hanzlah Bin Qais AlAnsari: I asked Rafi Bin Khadeej about the lease of land for gold and silver i.e. for dinars and dirhams. There is no harm in it; for the people used to let out land in the time of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ for what grew by the current of water and at the banks of streamlets and at the places of cultivation. So sometimes this portion perished and that portion was saved; and sometimes this remained intact and that perished. There was no form of lease among the people except this. Therefore; he forbade it. But if there is something which is secure and known; then there is no harm in it. The tradition of Ibrahim is more perfect. Qutaibah said: from Hanzalah on the authority of Rafi.Abu Dawud said: A similar tradition has been transmitted by Yahya Bin Saeed from Hanzalah.

Every weak and poor obscure person whom the people look down upon but his oath is fulfilled by Allah when he takes an oath to do something. And may I inform you of the people of the Hell-Fire?
