So she told him; and he made it from tamarisk wood from AlGhabah a place near AlMadinah. Then he brought it and it was sent to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ ; who commanded that it be set up here. Then I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ ascend it and praying on it; and saying the Takbir while he was on top of it; then he bowed when he was on top of it; then he came down backward and prostrated at the base of the Minbar; then he went back. When he had finished he turned to face the people and said: O people; I only did this so that you can follow me in prayer and learn how I pray.follow me in prayer and learn how I pray.)

I was more unjust to him than he to me. The Prophet ﷺ said; Allah sent me as a Prophet to you people but you said to me ; You are telling a lie; while Abu Bakr said; He has said the truth; and consoled me with himself and his money. He then said twice; Wont you then give up harming my companion? After that nobody harmed Abu Bakr.panion? After that nobody harmed Abu Bakr.)

All the Quraish gathered round him and said; What is the matter? He said; Look; if I told you that an enemy is going to attack you in the morning or in the evening; would you not believe me? They said; Yes; we will believe you. He said; I am a warner to you in face of a terrible punishment. On that Abu Lahab said; May you perish ! Is it for this thing that you have gathered us? So Allah revealed: Perish the hands of Abu Lahab!... 111.1d: Perish the hands of Abu Lahab!... 111.1)
