    Abu Hazim Bin Dinar narrated that some men came to Sahl Bin Saad AlSaidi. They were wondering what kind of wood the Minbar was made of; so they asked him about that. He said: By Allah; I know what it is made of. I saw it the first day it was set up and the first day the Messenger of Allah ﷺ sat on it. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ sent word to so-and-so - a woman whose name Sahl mentioned - telling her: Tell your carpenter slave to make me something of wood that I can sit on when I speak to the people. So she told him; and he made it from tamarisk wood from AlGhabah a place near AlMadinah. Then he brought it and it was sent to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ ; who commanded that it be set up here. Then I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ ascend it and praying on it; and saying the Takbir while he was on top of it; then he bowed when he was on top of it; then he came down backward and prostrated at the base of the Minbar; then he went back. When he had finished he turned to face the people and said: O people; I only did this so that you can follow me in prayer and learn how I pray.

Thereupon he said: Then it would not be closed despite best efforts. We said to Hudhaifa: Did Umar know the door? Thereupon he said: Yes; he knew it for certain just as one knows that night precedes the next day. And I narrated to him something in which there was nothing fabricated. Shaqiq one of the narrators said: We dared not ask Hudhaifa about that door. So we requested Masruq to ask him. So he asked him and he said: By that door; he meant Umar.

The Prophet ﷺ said; Allah sent me as a Prophet to you people but you said to me ; You are telling a lie; while Abu Bakr said; He has said the truth; and consoled me with himself and his money. He then said twice; Wont you then give up harming my companion? After that nobody harmed Abu Bakr.

Then the lady delivered a child resembling the man whom her husband had mentioned he had found with her. So Allah Messenger ﷺ ordered them to carry out Lien. A man from that gathering said to Ibn Abbas; Was she the same lady regarding whom Allah Messenger ﷺ said; If I were to stone to death someone without witnesses; I would have stoned this lady? Ibn Abbas said; No; that was another lady who; though being a Muslim; used to arouse suspicion because of her outright misbehavior.

They i.e. Muslims considered it a sin to trade there during the Hajj time i.e. season ; so this Verse was revealed:- There is no harm for you if you seek of the Bounty of your Lord during the Hajj season. 2.198

But if it had been illegal to eat; it would not have been eaten over his table cloth nor would he have ordered that mastigures meat to be eaten.
