The Prophet ﷺ stood up and led the people in prayer performing six bowings and four prostrations. he said: Allah is most great; and then recited from the Quran and prolonged the recitation. He then bowed nearly as long as he stood. He then raised his head and recited from the Quran but it was less than the first recitation. He then bowed nearly as long as he stood. He then raised his head and then recited from the Quran for the third time; but it was less than the second recitation. He then bowed nearly as long as he stood. he then raised his head and then recited from the Quran for the third time; but it was less than the second recitation. he then bowed nearly as long as he stood. Then he raised his head and went down for prostration. he made two prostrations. He then stood and made three bowings before prostrating himself; the preceding bowing being more lengthy than the following; but he bowed nearly as long as he stood. Then he stepped forward and stood in his place; and the rows too stepped forward. he then finished the prayer and the sun had become bright. He said: O people; the sun and the moon are two of Allah signs; they are not eclipsed on account of a man death. So when you see anything of that nature; offer prayer until the sun becomes bright. If You know that this matter is not good for me in my religion; in my this life and in my coming Hereafter or at present or in the future ; then divert me from it and choose for me what is good wherever it may be; and make me be pleased with it. Kaab said; Then mortgage your sons to me. They said; How can we mortgage our sons to you? Later they would be abused by the people saying that so-and-so has been mortgaged for a camel load of food. That would cause us great disgrace; but we will mortgage our arms to you. Muhammad Bin Maslama and his companion promised Kaab that Muhammad would return to him. He came to Kaab at night along with Kaab foster brother; Abu Naila. Kaab invited them to come into his fort; and then he went down to them. His wife asked him; Where are you going at this time? Kaab replied; None but Muhammad Bin Maslama and my foster brother Abu Naila have come. His wife said; I hear a voice as if dropping blood is from him; Kaab said. They are none but my brother Muhammad Bin Maslama and my foster brother Abu Naila. A generous man should respond to a call at night even if invited to be killed. Muhammad Bin Maslama went with two men. Some narrators mention the men as Abu Bin Jabr. AlHarith Bin Aus and Abbad Bin Bishr. So Muhammad Bin Maslama went in together with two men; and sail to them; When Kaab comes; I will touch his hair and smell it; and when you see that I have got hold of his head; strip him. I will let you smell his head. Kaab Bin AlAshraf came down to them wrapped in his clothes; and diffusing perfume. Muhammad Bin Maslama said. have never smelt a better scent than this. Kaab replied. I have got the best Arab women who know how to use the high class of perfume. Muhammad Bin Maslama requested Kaab Will you allow me to smell your head? Kaab said; Yes. Muhammad smelt it and made his companions smell it as well. Then he requested Kaab again; Will you let me smell your head ? Kaab said; Yes. When Muhammad got a strong hold of him; he said to his companions ; Get at him! So they killed him and went to the Prophet ﷺ and informed him. Abu Rafi was killed after Kaab Bin AlAshraf.

  Narrated Jabir Bin Abdullah: Allah Messenger ﷺ sent an army towards the east coast and appointed Abu Ubaida Bin AlJarrah as their chief; and the army consisted of three-hundred men including myself. We marched on till we reached a place where our food was about to finish. Abu Ubaida ordered us to collect all the journey food and it was collected. My our journey food was dates. Jabir replied; We came to know its value when even that too finished. Jabir added; When we reached the sea-shore; we saw a huge fish which was like a small mountain. The army ate from it for eighteen days. Then Abu Ubaida ordered that two of its ribs be fixed and they were fixed in the ground. Then he ordered that a camel be ridden and it passed under the two ribs forming an arch without touching them.
