So he came to the Prophet ﷺ and greeted him; but signs of displeasure appeared on the face of the Prophet ﷺ till Abu Bakr pitied Umar ; so he knelt and said twice; O Allah Messenger ﷺ ! By Allah! I was more unjust to him than he to me. The Prophet ﷺ said; Allah sent me as a Prophet to you people but you said to me ; You are telling a lie; while Abu Bakr said; He has said the truth; and consoled me with himself and his money. He then said twice; Wont you then give up harming my companion? After that nobody harmed Abu Bakr.panion? After that nobody harmed Abu Bakr.)

But the widow has the right to stay that extra period or go out of her husband house as is indicated by the statement of Allah: But if they leave there is no blame on you;... 2.240 Ibn Abbas said: The above Verse has cancelled the order of spending the period of the Iddah at her late husband house; and so she could spend her period of the Iddah wherever she likes. And Allah says: Without turning them out. Ata said: If she would; she could spend her period of the Iddah at her husband house; and live there according to her husbands will and testament; and if she would; she could go out of her husband house as Allah says: There is no blame on you for what they do of themselves. 2.240 Ata added: Then the Verses of inheritance were revealed and the order of residence for the widow was cancelled; and she could spend her period of the Iddah wherever she would like; and she was no longer entitled to be accommodated by her husband family.to be accommodated by her husband family.)

By Him in Whose hands the soul of Muhammad is; this is a victory. Khaybar was divided among those who had been at AlHudaybiyah; and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ divided it into eighteen portions. The army consisted of one thousand five hundred men; of which three hundred were cavalry; and he gave two shares to a horseman and one to a foot-soldier.Abu Dawud said: Abu Muawiyah tradition is sounder; and it is one which is followed. I think the error is in the tradition of Mujammi; because he said: three hundred horsemen. when there were only two hundred.orsemen. when there were only two hundred.)

So he took a part of them; for Banu Dhuhl embraced Islam. He then asked Abu Bakr for them later on; and brought to him the document of the Prophet ﷺ. So Abu Bakr wrote for him that he should be given one thousand two hundred sa from the sadaqah of AlYamamah; four thousand sas of wheat; four thousand sas of barley; and four thousand sas of dates. The text of the document written by the Prophet ﷺ for Mujjaah was as follows: In the name of Allah; the Beneficent; the Merciful. This document is from Muhammad; the Prophet; to Mujjaah Ibn Mirarah of Banu Sulma. I have given him one hundred camels from the first fifth acquired from the polytheist of Banu Dhuhl as a compensation for his brother.u Dhuhl as a compensation for his brother.)

So he said: I created these for Paradise; and they will do the deeds of the people of Paradise. Then He wiped his back; and his offspring came out of him. So He said: I created these for the Fire; and they will do the deeds of the people of the Fire. A man said: Then of what good is doing deeds O Messenger of Allah! The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: Verily; when Allah created a man for Paradise; He makes him perform the deeds of the people of Paradise; until he dies doing one of the deeds of the people of Paradise. So Allah will admit him into Paradise. And when He created a man for the Fire; He makes him perform the deeds of the people of the Fire until he dies doing the deeds of the people of the Fire. So Allah will enter him into the Fire.re. So Allah will enter him into the Fire.)

When we reached the place of attack; I galloped my horse and outstripped my companions; and the people of that locality received me with a great noise. I said to them: Say There is no god but Allah; and you will be protected. They said this. My companions blamed me; saying: You deprived us of the booty. When we came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ ; they told him what I had done. So he called me; appreciating what I had done; and said: Allah has recorded for you so and so a reward for every man of them. Abdulrahman said: I forgot the reward. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ then said: I shall write a will for you after me. He did this and stamped it; and gave it to me; saying....He then mentioned the rest of the tradition to the same effect. Ibn AlMusaffa said: I heard AlHarith Ibn Muslim Ibn AlHarith AlTamimi transmitting it from his father.AlTamimi transmitting it from his father.)

We set off and I was on a black red tainted camel having no defect; and the people were behind me. While I was in that state the camel stopped suddenly because of exhaustion. On that the Prophet ﷺ said to me; O Jabir; wait! Then he hit it once with his lash and it started moving on a fast pace. He then said; Will you sell the camel? I replied in the affirmative when we reached Medina; and the Prophet ﷺ went to the Masjid along with his companions. I; too; went to him after tying the camel on the pavement at the Masjid gate. Then I said to him; This is your camel. He came out and started examining the camel and saying; The camel is ours. Then the Prophet ﷺ sent some Awaq i.e. an amount of gold saying; Give it to Jabir. Then he asked; Have you taken the full price of the camel ? I replied in the affirmative. He said; Both the price and the camel are for you.Both the price and the camel are for you.)
