So the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: Indeed Allah created Adam; then He wiped his back with His Right Hand; and his offspring came out of him. So he said: I created these for Paradise; and they will do the deeds of the people of Paradise. Then He wiped his back; and his offspring came out of him. So He said: I created these for the Fire; and they will do the deeds of the people of the Fire. A man said: Then of what good is doing deeds O Messenger of Allah! The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: Verily; when Allah created a man for Paradise; He makes him perform the deeds of the people of Paradise; until he dies doing one of the deeds of the people of Paradise. So Allah will admit him into Paradise. And when He created a man for the Fire; He makes him perform the deeds of the people of the Fire until he dies doing the deeds of the people of the Fire. So Allah will enter him into the Fire.

When we reached the place of attack; I galloped my horse and outstripped my companions; and the people of that locality received me with a great noise. I said to them: Say There is no god but Allah; and you will be protected. They said this. My companions blamed me; saying: You deprived us of the booty. When we came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ ; they told him what I had done. So he called me; appreciating what I had done; and said: Allah has recorded for you so and so a reward for every man of them. Abdulrahman said: I forgot the reward. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ then said: I shall write a will for you after me. He did this and stamped it; and gave it to me; saying....He then mentioned the rest of the tradition to the same effect. On that the Prophet ﷺ said to me; O Jabir; wait! Then he hit it once with his lash and it started moving on a fast pace. He then said; Will you sell the camel? I replied in the affirmative when we reached Medina; and the Prophet ﷺ went to the Masjid along with his companions. I; too; went to him after tying the camel on the pavement at the Masjid gate. Then I said to him; This is your camel. He came out and started examining the camel and saying; The camel is ours. Then the Prophet ﷺ sent some Awaq i.e. an amount of gold saying; Give it to Jabir. Then he asked; Have you taken the full price of the camel ? I replied in the affirmative. He said; Both the price and the camel are for you.

When he came out; the people rushed to it; and Abdullah Bin Umar was the first to enter it and found Bilal standing behind the door. He asked Bilal; Where did the Prophet ﷺ offer his prayer? He pointed to the place where he had offered his prayer. Abdullah said; I forgot to ask him how many rakat he had performed.

Then he added; I make you a witness that I have intended to perform Hajj along with Umra. After arriving at Mecca; Ibn Umar performed one Tawaf only between Safa and Marwa.
