Thereupon he said: Then it would not be closed despite best efforts. We said to Hudhaifa: Did Umar know the door? Thereupon he said: Yes; he knew it for certain just as one knows that night precedes the next day. And I narrated to him something in which there was nothing fabricated. Shaqiq one of the narrators said: We dared not ask Hudhaifa about that door. So we requested Masruq to ask him. So he asked him and he said: By that door; he meant Umar.

Thereupon Allah Apostle ﷺ said: Muawiya is destitute and in poor condition and Ab AlJahm is very harsh with women or he beats women; or like that ; you should take Usama Bin Zaid as your husband.

In the meanwhile; Umar regretted his refusal of Abu Bakr excuse and went to Abu Bakr house and asked if Abu Bakr was there. They replied in the negative. So he came to the Prophet ﷺ and greeted him; but signs of displeasure appeared on the face of the Prophet ﷺ till Abu Bakr pitied Umar ; so he knelt and said twice; O Allah Messenger ﷺ ! By Allah! I was more unjust to him than he to me. The Prophet ﷺ said; Allah sent me as a Prophet to you people but you said to me ; You are telling a lie; while Abu Bakr said; He has said the truth; and consoled me with himself and his money. He then said twice; Wont you then give up harming my companion? After that nobody harmed Abu Bakr.

The Prophet ﷺ said; Whoever says so is a liar; for Amir will have a double reward as he exerted himself to obey Allah and fought in Allah Cause. No other way of killing would have granted him greater reward.

So I made my wife like my mother back to me till the end of Ramadan. But one night when she was waiting upon me; something of her was revealed. Suddenly I jumped upon her. When the morning came I went to my people and informed them about this matter. I said: Go along with me to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. They said: No; by Allah. So I went to the Prophet ﷺ and informed him of the matter. He said: Have you really committed it; Salamah? I said: I committed it twice; Messenger of Allah. I am content with the Commandment of Allah; the Exalted; so take a decision about me according to what Allah has shown you. He said: Free a slave. I said: By Him Who sent you with truth; I do not possess a neck other than this: and I struck the surface of my neck. He said: Then fast two consecutive months. I said: Whatever I suffered is due to fasting. He said: Feed sixty poor people with a wasq of dates. I said: By Him Who sent you with truth; we passed the night hungry; there was no food in our house. He said: Then go to the collector of sadaqah of Banu Zurayq; he must give it to you. Then feed sixty poor people with a wasq of dates; and you and your family eat the remaining dates. Then I came back to my people; and said to them : I found with you poverty and bad opinion; and I found with the Prophet ﷺ prosperity and good opinion. He has commanded me to give alms to you. Ibn AlAla added: Ibn Idris said: Bayadah is a sub-clan of Banu Zurayq.

    Narrated Salim Bin Abdullah Bin Umar: Abd AlMalik Bin Marwan wrote to AlAlHajjaj that he should follow Abdullah Bin Umar in all the ceremonies of Hajj. So when it was the Day of Arafat 9th of Dhu AlHijja ; and after the sun has deviated or has declined from the middle of the sky; I and Ibn Umar came and he shouted near the cotton cloth tent of AlHajjaj; Where is he? AlAlHajjaj came out. Ibn Umar said; Let us proceed to Arafat. AlAlHajjaj asked; Just now? Ibn Umar replied; Yes. AlAlHajjaj said; Wait for me till I pour water on me i.e. take a bath. So; Ibn Umar dismounted and waited till AlAlHajjaj came out. He was walking between me and my father. I informed AlHajjaj; If you want to follow the Sunna today; then you should shorten the sermon and then hurry up for the stay at Arafat. Ibn Umar said; He Salim has spoken the truth.

    Narrated Salim Bin Abdullah Bin Umar: Ibn Umar used to let out his land till it reached him that Rafi Bin Khadeej AlAnsari narrated that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade let out land. So Abdullah Bin Umar said: Ibn Khadij; what do you narrate from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ about leasing the land? Rafi replied to Abdullah Bin Umar: I heard both of my uncles were present in the battle of Badr say; and they narrated it to the members of the family; that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade leasing land. Abdullah said: I swear by Allah; I knew that land was leased in the time of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. Abdullah then feared that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ might have created something new in that matter; so he gave up leasing land.Abu Dawud said: This tradition has also been transmitted by Ayoub ; Ubaid Allah; Kathir Bin Farqad; Malik from Nafi on the authority of Rafi from the Prophet ﷺ. It has also been transmitted by AlAuzai from Hafs Bin Inan AlHanafi from Nafi from Rafi who said: I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: Similarly; it has been transmitted by Zaid Bin Abi Unaisah from AlHakkam from Nafi from Ibn Umar that he went to Rafi and asked: Have you heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say? He replied: Yes. Similarly; it has also been transmitted by Ikrimah Bin Ammar from Abu AlNajashi; from Rafi Bin Khadeej who said: I heard the Prophet ﷺ say. It has also been transmitted by AlAuzai from Abu AlNajashi from Rafi Bin Khadeej from his uncle Zuhair Bin Rafi from the Prophet ﷺ.Abu Dawud said: The name of Abu AlNajashi is Ata Bin Suhaib.
