Thereupon he said: Then it would not be closed despite best efforts. We said to Hudhaifa: Did Umar know the door? Thereupon he said: Yes; he knew it for certain just as one knows that night precedes the next day. And I narrated to him something in which there was nothing fabricated. Shaqiq one of the narrators said: We dared not ask Hudhaifa about that door. So we requested Masruq to ask him. So he asked him and he said: By that door; he meant Umar.

In the meanwhile; Umar regretted his refusal of Abu Bakr excuse and went to Abu Bakr house and asked if Abu Bakr was there. They replied in the negative. So he came to the Prophet ﷺ and greeted him; but signs of displeasure appeared on the face of the Prophet ﷺ till Abu Bakr pitied Umar ; so he knelt and said twice; O Allah Messenger ﷺ ! By Allah! I was more unjust to him than he to me. The Prophet ﷺ said; Allah sent me as a Prophet to you people but you said to me ; You are telling a lie; while Abu Bakr said; He has said the truth; and consoled me with himself and his money. He then said twice; Wont you then give up harming my companion? After that nobody harmed Abu Bakr.

I asked Jabir ; How could one date benefit you? He said; We came to know its value when even that finished. Jabir added; Then we reached the sea coast where we found a fish like a small mountain. The people i.e. troops ate of it for 18 nights i.e. days. Then Abu Ubaida ordered that two of its ribs be fixed on the ground in the form of an arch and that a camel be ridden and passed under them. So it passed under them without touching them.

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: If he kill him; he will be like him. This statement reached the man where he was listening to his statement. He said: He is here; order regarding him as you like. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: Leave him alone. And he once said: He will bear the burden of the sin of the slain and that of his own and thus he will become one of the Companions of Hell. So he let him go.

    Narrated Warrad: The clerk of AlMughira Muawiya wrote to AlMughira Write to me what you have heard from Allah Messenger ﷺ. So he AlMughira wrote to him: Allah Prophet used to say at the end of each prayer: La ilaha illalla-h wahdahu la sharika lahu; lahul Mulku; wa lahul Hamdu wa hula ala kulli shaiin qadir. Allahumma la mani a lima ataita; wala mutiya lima manata; wala yanfau dhuljadd minkal-jadd. He also wrote to him that the Prophet ﷺ used to forbid 1 Qil and Qal idle useless talk or that you talk too much about others ; 2 Asking too many questions in disputed Religious matters ; 3 And wasting one wealth by extravagance; 4 and to be undutiful to one mother 5 and to bury the daughters alive 6 and to prevent your favors benevolence to others i.e. not to pay the rights of others 7 And asking others for something except when it is unavoidable.
