Thereupon he said: Then it would not be closed despite best efforts. We said to Hudhaifa: Did Umar know the door? Thereupon he said: Yes; he knew it for certain just as one knows that night precedes the next day. And I narrated to him something in which there was nothing fabricated. Shaqiq one of the narrators said: We dared not ask Hudhaifa about that door. So we requested Masruq to ask him. So he asked him and he said: By that door; he meant Umar.

I talked to him harshly and then regretted that; and requested him to forgive me; but he refused. This is why I have come to you. The Prophet ﷺ said thrice; O Abu Bakr! May Allah forgive you. In the meanwhile; Umar regretted his refusal of Abu Bakr excuse and went to Abu Bakr house and asked if Abu Bakr was there. They replied in the negative. So he came to the Prophet ﷺ and greeted him; but signs of displeasure appeared on the face of the Prophet ﷺ till Abu Bakr pitied Umar ; so he knelt and said twice; O Allah Messenger ﷺ ! By Allah! I was more unjust to him than he to me. The Prophet ﷺ said; Allah sent me as a Prophet to you people but you said to me ; You are telling a lie; while Abu Bakr said; He has said the truth; and consoled me with himself and his money. He then said twice; Wont you then give up harming my companion? After that nobody harmed Abu Bakr.

But I remembered the dinars; so I went to the Prophet ﷺ and mentioned the matter to him. He said: All I can find for him regarding this expedition of his in this world and the next is three dinars which were offered him.

This is acted upon according to most of the people of knowledge. It is the view of Sufyan AlThawri and AlShafii. Some of them said that a share is given to the woman and the boy; and this is the view of AlAwzai AlAwzai said: The Prophet ﷺ gave a portion to the boys at Khaibar; and the Aimmah of the Muslims gave a portion to every child born in the land of war. AlAwzai said: The Prophet ﷺ gave a portion to the women at Khaibar; and that was followed by the Muslims after him. This was narrated to us by Ali Bin Khashram who said : Eisa Bin Yunus narrated this to us from AlAwzai.The meaning of his saying: They received something from the spoils of war it is said that he conferred something on them the women from the spoils of war.

Jazz said; I saw Ibn AlZubair when he demolished and rebuilt the Kaba and included in it a portion of AlHijr the unroofed portion of Kaba which is at present in the form of a compound towards the northwest of the Kaba. I saw the original foundations of Abraham which were of stones resembling the humps of camels. So Jarir asked Yazid; Where was the place of those stones? Jazz said; I will just now show it to you. So Jarir accompanied Yazid and entered AlHijr; and Jazz pointed to a place and said; Here it is. Jarir said; It appeared to me about six cubits from AlHijr or so.

When the number of people around the Prophet ﷺ diminished; he said; O Ibn AlAkwa ! Will you not give to me the pledge of Allegiance? I replied; O Allah Messenger ﷺ ! I have already given to you the pledge of Allegiance. He said; Do it again. So I gave the pledge of allegiance for the second time. I asked O Abu Muslim! For what did you give he pledge of Allegiance on that day? He replied; We gave the pledge of Allegiance for death.

    Narrated Yazid Bin Umairah: When death was upon Muadh Bin Jabal; it was said to him: O Abu Abdulrahman advise us. He said: Sit me up. So he said: Indeed; knowledge and faith are at their place; whoever desires them shall find them. He said that three times. And seek knowledge from four men: Uwaimir Abu AlDarda; with Salman AlFarisi; with Abdullah Bin Masud; and with Abdullah Bin Salam who used to be a Jew and then accepted Islam. For indeed; I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying; Indeed he is the tenth of ten in Paradise.
