SahihAlBukhari-017-001-6967Narrated Ibn Abbas: When the Verse:-If there are twenty steadfast amongst you Muslims ; they will overcome twohundred non-Muslims. was revealed; it became hard on the Muslims when it became compulsory that one Muslim ought not to flee in war before ten non-Muslims. So Allah lightened the order by revealing: But now Allah has lightened your task for He knows that there is weakness in you. So if there are of you one-hundred steadfast; they will overcome two-hundred non-Muslims. 8.66 So when Allah reduced the number of enemies which Muslims should withstand; their patience and perseverance against the enemy decreased as much as their task was lightened for them. The Chapter on Idolaters And Infidels And The Revelation in HodHood Indexing, The Book of Prophetic Commentary on the Quran Tafseer of the Prophet in Sahih AlBukhari

So I went along with 150 horsemen and I could not sit with steadfastness upon the horse. I made the mention of it to Allah Messenger ﷺ and he struck his hand on my chest and said: O Allah; grant him steadfastness and make him the guide of righteousness and the rightly-guided one. So he went away and he set fire to it. Then Jarir sent some person to Allah Messenger ﷺ whose Kunya was Abu Arta to give him the happy news about that. He came to Allah Messenger ﷺ and said: I have not come to you but with the news that we have left Dhu AlKhalasa as a scabed camel. Thereupon Allah Messenger ﷺ blessed the horses of Ahmas and the men of their tribe five times. The Chapter on Arab Tribes Ad The Day Of Pardon in HodHood Indexing, Chapter on 29 in Sahih Muslim
