SahihAlBukhari-017-001-5327 | Narrated AlNuman Bin Bashir: The Prophet ﷺ said Both legal and illegal things are obvious; and in between them are suspicious doubtful matters. So whoever forsakes those doubtful things lest he may commit a sin; will definitely avoid what is clearly illegal; and whoever indulges in these suspicious doubtful things bravely; is likely to commit what is clearly illegal. Sins are Allah Hima i.e. private pasture and whoever pastures his sheep near it; is likely to get in it at any moment. | The Chapter on Fornication And Adultery In Jewish Law in HodHood Indexing, Chapter on Legal illegal and doubtful things in Sahih AlBukhari | |
SahihAlBukhari-017-001-6108 | Narrated AlNuman Bin Bashir: I heard Allah Messenger ﷺ saying; Both legal and illegal things are evident but in between them there are doubtful suspicious things and most of the people have no knowledge about them. So whoever saves himself from these suspicious things saves his religion and his honor. And whoever indulges in these suspicious things is like a shepherd who grazes his animals near the Hima private pasture of someone else and at any moment he is liable to get in it. O people! Beware! Every king has a Hima and the Hima of Allah on the earth is His illegal forbidden things. Beware! There is a piece of flesh in the body if it becomes good reformed the whole body becomes good but if it gets spoilt the whole body gets spoilt and that is the heart. | The Chapter on Knowledge And Scholars in HodHood Indexing, Chapter on The superiority of that person who leaves all doubtful unclear things for the sake of his religion in Sahih AlBukhari |
