SahihAlBukhari-017-001-445 | Narrated Aisha: Abdulrahman Bin Abi Bakr came holding a Siwak with which he was cleaning his teeth. Allah Apostle looked at him. I requested Abdulrahman to give the Siwak to me and after he gave it to me I divided it; chewed it and gave it to Allah Messenger ﷺ. Then he cleaned his teeth with it and at that time he was resting against my chest. | The Chapter on Siwak In Basic Instinct in HodHood Indexing, Chapter on Whoever cleans his teeth with Siwak in Sahih AlBukhari
SahihAlBukhari-017-001-4941 | Narrated Abaya Bin Rafaa Bin Raft Bin Khadij: My grandfather said; We were in the company of the Prophet ﷺ at Dhu AlHulaifa. The people felt hungry and captured some camels and sheep as booty. The Prophet ﷺ was behind the people. They hurried and slaughtered the animals and put their meat in pots and started cooking it. When the Prophet came he ordered the pots to be upset and then he distributed the animals of the booty ; regarding ten sheep as equal to one camel. One of the camels fled and the people ran after it till they were exhausted. At that time there were few horses. A man threw an arrow at the camel; and Allah stopped the camel with it. The Prophet ﷺ said; Some of these animals are like wild animals; so if you lose control over one of these animals; treat it in this way i.e. shoot it with an arrow. Before distributing them among the soldiers my grandfather said; We may meet the enemies in the future and have no knives; can we slaughter the animals with reeds? The Prophet ﷺ said; Use whatever causes blood to flow; and eat the animals if the name of Allah has been mentioned on slaughtering them. Do not slaughter with teeth or fingernails and I will tell you why: It is because teeth are bones i.e. cannot cut properly and fingernails are the tools used by the Ethiopians whom we should not imitate for they are infidels. | The Chapter on Animal Sacrifice Knifes Nails And Tooth in HodHood Indexing, Chapter on Division of sheep in Sahih AlBukhari
SahihAlBukhari-017-001-4957 | Narrated Abaya Bin Rifaa: My grandfather; Rafi Bin Khadeej said; We were in the valley of Dhu AlHulaifa of Tuhama in the company of the Prophet ﷺ and had some camels and sheep of the booty. The people hurried in slaughtering the animals and put their meat in the pots and started cooking. Allah Messenger ﷺ came and ordered them to upset the pots; and distributed the booty considering one camel as equal to ten sheep. One of the camels fled and the people had only a few horses; so they got worried. The camel was chased and a man slopped the camel by throwing an arrow at it. Allah Messenger ﷺ said; Some of these animals are untamed like wild animals; so if anyone of them went out of your control; then you should treat it as you have done now. My grandfather said; O Allah Messenger ﷺ ! We fear that we may meet our enemy tomorrow and we have no knives; could we slaughter the animals with reeds? The Prophet ﷺ said; Yes; or you can use what would make blood flow slaughter and you can eat what is slaughtered and the Name of Allah is mentioned at the time of slaughtering. But dont use teeth or fingernails in slaughtering. I will tell you why; as for teeth; they are bones; and fingernails are used by Ethiopians for slaughtering. SahihAlBukhari-017-001-6763 | Narrated Aisha: Abdulrahman Bin Abu Bakr entered upon the Prophet ﷺ while I was supporting the Prophet ﷺ on my chest. Abdulrahman had a fresh Siwak then and he was cleaning his teeth with it. Allah Messenger ﷺ looked at it; so I took the Siwak; cut it chewed it with my teeth ; shook it and made it soft with water ; and then gave it to the Prophet ﷺ who cleaned his teeth with it. I had never seen Allah Messenger ﷺ cleaning his teeth in a better way. After finishing the brushing of his teeth; he lifted his hand or his finger and said thrice; O Allah! Let me be with the highest companions; and then died. Aisha used to say; He died while his head was resting between my chest and chin. | The Chapter on Siwak In Basic Instinct in HodHood Indexing, Chapter on The sickness of the Prophet and his death in Sahih AlBukhari

Aisha added; The Prophet ﷺ expired on the day of my turn in my house and he was taken unto Allah while his head was against my chest and his saliva mixed with my saliva. Aisha added; Abdulrahman Bin Abu Bakr came in; carrying a Siwak he was cleaning his teeth with. Allah Messenger ﷺ looked at it and I said to him; O Abdulrahman Give me this Siwak. SahihAlBukhari-017-001-6775 | Narrated Aisha: The Prophet ﷺ expired in my house and on the day of my turn; leaning against my chest. One of us i.e. the Prophet wives used to recite a prayer asking Allah to protect him from all evils when he became sick. So I started asking Allah to protect him from all evils by reciting a prayer. He raised his head towards the sky and said; With the highest companions; with the highest companions. Abdulrahman Bin Abu Bakr passed carrying a fresh leaf-stalk of a date-palm and the Prophet ﷺ looked at it and I thought that the Prophet ﷺ was in need of it for cleaning his teeth. So I took it from Abdulrahman and chewed its head and shook it and gave it to the Prophet ﷺ who cleaned his teeth with it; in the best way he had ever cleaned his teeth; and then he gave it to me; and suddenly his hand dropped down or it fell from his hand i.e. he expired. So Allah made my saliva mix with his saliva on his last day on earth and his first day in the Hereafter. | The Chapter on Food In Basic Instinct in HodHood Indexing, Chapter on The sickness of the Prophet and his death in Sahih AlBukhari |

SahihMuslim-017-001-20567 | Abdullah reported that Allah had cursed those women who tattooed and who have themselves tattooed; those who pluck hair from their faces and those who make spaces between their teeth for beautification changing what God has created. This news reached a woman of the tribe of Asad who was called Umm Yaqub and she used to recite the Holy Quran. She came to him and said: What is this news that has reached me from you that you curse those women who tattooed and those women who have themselves tattooed; the women who pluck hair from their faces and who make spaces between their teeth for beautification changing what God has created? Thereupon Abdullah said: Should I not curse one upon whom Allah Messenger ﷺ has invoked curse and that is in the Book also. Thereupon that woman said: I read the Quran from cover to cover; but I did not find that in it. whereupon he said: If you had read thoroughly you would have definitely found this in that as Allah; the Exalted and Glorious; has said: What Allah Messenger brings for you accept that and what he has forbidden you; refrain from that. That woman said: I find this thing in your wife even now. Thereupon he said: Go and see her. She reported: I went to the wife of Abdullah but found nothing of this sort in her. She came back to him and said: I have not seen anything. whereupon he said: Had there been anything like it in her; I would have never slept with her in the bed. | The Chapter on Grooming The Pubic Hear And Plucking in HodHood Indexing, Chapter on 33 in Sahih Muslim

He the Holy Prophet got up; brushed his teeth and performed ablution and said: In the creation of the heavens and the earth; and the alternation of the night and the day; there are indeed signs for people of understanding AlQuran; iii. 190 ; to the end of the Surah. He then stood up and prayed two rakahs; standing; bowing and prostrating himself at length in them. Then he finished; went to sleep and snored. He did that three times; six rakahs altogether; each time cleaning his teeth; performing ablution; and reciting these verses. Then he observed three rakahs of Witr. The Muadhdhin then pronounced the Adhan and he went out for prayer and was saying: O Allah! place light in my heart; light in my tongue; place light in my hearing; place light in my eyesight; place light behind me; and light in front of me; and place light above me; and light below me.
