Such are the people of truth, the Allah-fearing.

The Parable of His Light is as if there were a Niche and within it a Lamp: the Lamp enclosed in Glass: the glass as it were a brilliant star: Lit from a blessed Tree, an Olive, neither of the east nor of the west, whose oil is well-nigh luminous, though fire scarce touched it: Light upon Light! Allah doth guide whom He will to His Light: Allah doth set forth Parables for men: and Allah doth know all things.
Surat Alaaraf Ayah 137Surat Alaaraf0.5237وَأَوْرَثْنَا الْقَوْمَ الَّذِينَ كَانُوا يُسْتَضْعَفُونَ مَشَارِقَ الْأَرْضِ وَمَغَارِبَهَا الَّتِي بَارَكْنَا فِيهَا وَتَمَّتْ كَلِمَتُ رَبِّكَ الْحُسْنَى عَلَى بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ بِمَا صَبَرُوا وَدَمَّرْنَا مَا كَانَ يَصْنَعُ فِرْعَوْنُ وَقَوْمُهُ وَمَا كَانُوا يَعْرِشُونَAnd We made a people, considered weak (and of no account), inheritors of lands in both east and west, - lands whereon We sent down Our blessings. The fair promise of thy Lord was fulfilled for the Children of Israel, because they had patience and constancy, and We levelled to the ground the great works and fine buildings which Pharaoh and his people erected (with such pride).

SahihAlBukhari-017-001-1387Narrated Abu Huraira: Allah Messenger ﷺ said; The Hour will not be established 1 till two big groups fight each other whereupon there will be a great number of casualties on both sides and they will be following one and the same religious doctrine; 2 till about thirty Dajjals liars appear; and each one of them will claim that he is Allah Messenger ﷺ ; 3 till the religious knowledge is taken away by the death of Religious scholars 4 earthquakes will increase in number 5 time will pass quickly; 6 afflictions will appear; 7 AlHarj; i.e.; killing will increase; 8 till wealth will be in abundance -- so abundant that a wealthy person will worry lest nobody should accept his Zakat; and whenever he will present it to someone; that person to whom it will be offered will say; I am not in need of it; 9 till the people compete with one another in constructing high buildings; 10 till a man when passing by a grave of someone will say; Would that I were in his place 11 and till the sun rises from the West. So when the sun will rise and the people will see it rising from the West they will all believe embrace Islam but that will be the time when: As Allah said; No good will it do to a soul to believe then; if it believed not before; nor earned good by deeds of righteousness through its Faith. 6.158 And the Hour will be established while two men spreading a garment in front of them but they will not be able to sell it; nor fold it up; and the Hour will be established when a man has milked his camel and has taken away the milk but he will not be able to drink it; and the Hour will be established before a man repairing a tank for his livestock is able to water his animals in it; and the Hour will be established when a person has raised a morsel of food to his mouth but will not be able to eat it.The Chapter on Hour And Aldajjal in HodHood Indexing, Chapter on Chapter in Sahih AlBukhari

They said; Something has intervened between us and the news of the Heaven; and fires flames have been shot at us. Their fellow-devils said; Nothing has intervened between you and the news of the Heaven; but an important event has happened. Therefore; travel all over the world; east and west; and try to find out what has happened. And so they set out and travelled all over the world; east and west; looking for that thing which intervened between them and the news of the Heaven. Those of the devils who had set out towards Tihama; went to Allah Messenger ﷺ at Nakhla a place between Mecca and Taif while he was on his way to Ukaz Market. They met him while he was offering the Fajr prayer with his companions. When they heard the Holy Quran being recited by Allah Messenger ﷺ ; they listened to it and said to each other. This is the thing which has intervened between you and the news of the Heavens. Then they returned to their people and said; O our people! We have really heard a wonderful recital Quran. It gives guidance to the right; and we have believed therein. We shall not join in worship; anybody with our Lord. He said: When the sun reached the same height in the east as it reaches in the west at thetime of Asr; he would pray two rakahs; and when the sun reached the same height in theeast as it reaches in the west at thetime for Zuhr he would pray four Rakahs.
