Alhamdu lil-lahi wa subhanal-lahi wa la-ilaha Allal-lah wa Allahu akbar wa la hawla Wala Quwata Alla-bil-lah. None has the right to be worshipped but Allah. He is the Only One and has no partners. For Him is the Kingdom and all the praises are due for Him. He is Omnipotent. All the praises are for Allah. All the glories are for Allah. And none has the right to be worshipped but Allah; And Allah is Great And there is neither Might nor Power Except with Allah. And then says: - Allahumma; Ighfir li O Allah! Forgive me. Or invokes Allah ; he will be responded to and if he performs ablution and prays ; his prayer will be accepted. SahihAlBukhari-017-001-089		Narrated Mahmud Bin AlRabi AlAnsari: that he remembered Allah Messenger ﷺ and he also remembered a mouthful of water which he had thrown on his face; after taking it from a well that was in their house. Mahmud said that he had heard Itban Bin Malik; who was present with Allah Messenger ﷺ in the battle of Badr saying; I used to lead my people at Bani Salim in the prayer and there was a valley between me and those people. Whenever it rained it used to be difficult for me to cross it to go to their Masjid. So I went to Allah Messenger ﷺ and said; I have weak eyesight and the valley between me and my people flows during the rainy season and it becomes difficult for me to cross it; I wish you would come to my house and pray at a place so that I could take that place as a praying place. Allah Messenger ﷺ said; I will do so. So Allah Messenger ﷺ and Abu Bakr came to my house in the next morning after the sun had risen high. Allah Messenger ﷺ asked my permission to let him in and I admitted him. He did not sit before saying; Where do you want us to offer the prayer in your house? I pointed to the place where I wanted him to pray. So Allah Messenger ﷺ stood up for the prayer and started the prayer with Takbir and we aligned in rows behind him; and he offered two rakat; and finished them with Taslim; and we also performed Taslim with him. I detained him for a meal called KhaZirr which I had prepared for him.- KhaZirr is a special type of dish prepared from barley flour and meat soup - When the neighbors got the news that Allah Messenger ﷺ was in my house; they poured it till there were a great number of men in the house. One of them said; What is wrong with Malik; for I do not see him? One of them replied; He is a hypocrite and does not love Allah and His Apostle. On that Allah Apostle said; Dont say this. Havent you seen that he said; None has the right to be worshipped but Allah for Allah sake only. The man replied; Allah and His Apostle know better; but by Allah; we never saw him but helping and talking with the hypocrites. Allah Messenger ﷺ replied; No doubt; whoever says. None has the right to be worshipped but Allah; and by that he wants the pleasures of Allah; then Allah will save him from Hell. Mahmud added; I told the above narration to some people; one of whom was Abu Ayoub ; the companion of Allah Messenger ﷺ in the battle in which he Abu Ayoub died and Yazid Bin Muawiya was their leader in Roman Territory. Abu Ayoub denounced the narration and said; I doubt that Allah Messenger ﷺ ever said what you have said. I felt that too much; and I vowed to Allah that if I remained alive in that holy battle; I would go to Medina and ask Itban Bin Malik if he was still living in the Masjid of his people. So when he returned; I assumed Ihram for Hajj or Umra and then I proceeded on till I reached Medina. I went to Bani Salim and Itban Bin Malik; who was by then an old blind man; was leading his people in the prayer. When he finished the prayer; I greeted him and introduced myself to him and then asked him about that narration. He told that narration again in the same manner as he had narrated it the first time. The Prophet ﷺ said; To worship Him Allah Alone and to join none in worship with Him Allah. Do you know what their right upon Him is? I replied; Allah and His Apostle know best. SahihAlBukhari-017-001-1021		Narrated Ibn Abbas: The Prophet ﷺ used to invoke Allah at night; saying; O Allah: All the Praises are for You: You are the Lord of the Heavens and the Earth. All the Praises are for You; You are the Maintainer of the Heaven and the Earth and whatever is in them. All the Praises are for You; You are the Light of the Heavens and the Earth. Your Word is the Truth; and Your Promise is the Truth; and the Meeting with You is the Truth; and Paradise is the Truth; and the Hell Fire is the Truth; and the Hour is the Truth. O Allah! I surrender myself to You; and I believe in You and I depend upon You; and I repent to You and with You Your evidences I stand against my opponents; and to you I leave the judgment for those who refuse my message. O Allah! Forgive me my sins that I did in the past or will do in the future; and also the sins I did in secret or in public. You are my only God Whom I worship and there is no other God for me i.e. I worship none but You. Narrated Sufyan: regarding the above narration that the Prophet ﷺ added; You are the Truth; and Your Word is the Truth. SahihAlBukhari-017-001-1064		Narrated Ibn Abbas: Allah Messenger ﷺ used to say at the time of difficulty; None has the right to be worshipped but Allah; the Majestic; the Most Forbearing. None has the right to be worshipped but Allah; the Lord of the Tremendous Throne. None has the right to be worshipped but Allah; the Lord of the Heavens and the Lord of the Honourable Throne. SahihAlBukhari-017-001-1070		Narrated Ata Bin Yazid AlLaithi: On the authority of Abu Huraira: The people said; O Allah Messenger ﷺ ! Shall we see our Lord on the Day of Resurrection? The Prophet ﷺ said; Do you have any difficulty in seeing the moon on a full moon night? They said; No; O Allah Messenger ﷺ. He said; Do you have any difficulty in seeing the sun when there are no clouds? They said; No; O Allah Messenger ﷺ. He said; So you will see Him; like that. Allah will gather all the people on the Day of Resurrection; and say; Whoever worshipped something in the world should follow that thing ; so; whoever worshipped the sun will follow the sun; and whoever worshiped the moon will follow the moon; and whoever used to worship certain other false deities; he will follow those deities. And there will remain only this nation with its good people or its hypocrites. The sub-narrator; Ibrahim is in doubt. Allah will come to them and say; I am your Lord. They will deny Him and say; We will stay here till our Lord comes; for when our Lord comes; we will recognize Him. So Allah will come to them in His appearance which they know; and will say; I am your Lord. They will say; You are our Lord; so they will follow Him. Then a bridge will be laid across Hell Fire I and my followers will be the first ones to go across it and none will speak on that Day except the Apostles. And the invocation of the Apostles on that Day will be; O Allah; save! Save! In Hell or over The Bridge there will be hooks like the thorns of AlSadan thorny plant. Have you seen AlSadan? They replied; Yes; O Allah Messenger ﷺ ! He said; So those hooks look like the thorns of AlSadan; but none knows how big they are except Allah. Those hooks will snap the people away according to their deeds. Some of the people will stay in Hell be destroyed because of their evil deeds; and some will be cut or torn by the hooks and fall into Hell and some will be punished and then relieved. When Allah has finished His Judgments among the people; He will take whomever He will out of Hell through His Mercy. He will then order the angels to take out of the Fire all those who used to worship none but Allah from among those whom Allah wanted to be merciful to and those who testified in the world that none has the right to be worshipped but Allah. The angels will recognize them in the Fire by the marks of prostration on their foreheads ; for the Fire will eat up all the human body except the mark caused by prostration as Allah has forbidden the Fire to eat the mark of prostration. They will come out of the Hell Fire; completely burnt and then the water of life will be poured over them and they will grow under it as does a seed that comes in the mud of the torrent. Then Allah will finish the judgments among the people; and there will remain one man facing the Hell Fire and he will be the last person among the people of Hell to enter Paradise. He will say; O my Lord! Please turn my face away from the fire because its air has hurt me and its severe heat has burnt me. So he will invoke Allah in the way Allah will wish him to invoke; and then Allah will say to him; If I grant you that; will you then ask for anything else? He will reply; No; by Your Power; Honor I will not ask You for anything else. He will give his Lord whatever promises and covenants Allah will demand. So Allah will turn his face away from Hell Fire. When he will face Paradise and will see it; he will remain quiet for as long as Allah will wish him to remain quiet; then he will say; O my Lord! Bring me near to the gate of Paradise. Allah will say to him; Didnt you give your promises and covenants that you would never ask for anything more than what you had been given? Woe on you; O Adam son! How treacherous you are! He will say; O my lord; and will keep on invoking Allah till He says to him; If I give what you are asking; will you then ask for anything else? He will reply; No; by Your Honor Power; I will not ask for anything else. Then he will give covenants and promises to Allah and then Allah will bring him near to the gate of Paradise. When he stands at the gate of Paradise; Paradise will be opened and spread before him; and he will see its splendor and pleasures whereupon he will remain quiet as long as Allah will wish him to remain quiet; and then he will say; O my Lord! Admit me into Paradise. Allah will say; Didnt you give your covenants and promises that you would not ask for anything more than what you had been given? Allah will say; Woe on you; O Adam son! How treacherous you are! The man will say; O my Lord! Do not make me the most miserable of Your creation; and he will keep on invoking Allah till Allah will laugh because of his sayings; and when Allah will laugh because of him; He will say to him; Enter Paradise; and when he will enter it; Allah will say to him; Wish for anything. So he will ask his Lord; and he will wish for a great number of things; for Allah Himself will remind him to wish for certain things by saying; Wish for so-and-so. When there is nothing more to wish for; Allah will say; This is for you; and its equal is for you as well. Ata Bin Yazid added: Abu Saeed AlKhudri who was present with Abu Huraira; did not deny whatever the latter said; but when Abu Huraira said that Allah had said; That is for you and its equal as well; Abu Saeed AlKhudri said; And ten times as much; O Abu Huraira! Abu Huraira said; I do not remember; except his saying; That is for you and its equal as well. Abu Saeed AlKhudri then said; I testify that I remember the Prophet ﷺ saying; That is for you; and ten times as much. Abu Huraira then added; That man will be the last person of the people of Paradise to enter Paradise. SahihAlBukhari-017-001-1071		Narrated Abu Saeed AlKhudri: We said; O Allah Messenger ﷺ ! Shall we see our Lord on the Day of Resurrection? He said; Do you have any difficulty in seeing the sun and the moon when the sky is clear? We said; No. He said; So you will have no difficulty in seeing your Lord on that Day as you have no difficulty in seeing the sun and the moon in a clear sky. The Prophet then said; Somebody will then announce; Let every nation follow what they used to worship. So the companions of the cross will go with their cross; and the idolators will go with their idols; and the companions of every god false deities will go with their god; till there remain those who used to worship Allah; both the obedient ones and the mischievous ones; and some of the people of the Scripture. Then Hell will be presented to them as if it were a mirage. Then it will be said to the Jews; What did you use to worship? They will reply; We used to worship Ezra; the son of Allah. It will be said to them; You are liars; for Allah has neither a wife nor a son. What do you want now ? They will reply; We want You to provide us with water. Then it will be said to them Drink; and they will fall down in Hell instead. Then it will be said to the Christians; What did you use to worship? They will reply; We used to worship Messiah; the son of Allah. It will be said; You are liars; for Allah has neither a wife nor a son. What: do you want now ? They will say; We want You to provide us with water. It will be said to them; Drink; and they will fall down in Hell instead. When there remain only those who used to worship Allah Alone ; both the obedient ones and the mischievous ones; it will be said to them; What keeps you here when all the people have gone? They will say; We parted with them in the world when we were in greater need of them than we are today; we heard the call of one proclaiming; Let every nation follow what they used to worship; and now we are waiting for our Lord. Then the Almighty will come to them in a shape other than the one which they saw the first time; and He will say; I am your Lord; and they will say; You are not our Lord. And none will speak: to Him then but the Prophets; and then it will be said to them; Do you know any sign by which you can recognize Him? They will say. The Shin; and so Allah will then uncover His Shin whereupon every believer will prostrate before Him and there will remain those who used to prostrate before Him just for showing off and for gaining good reputation. These people will try to prostrate but their backs will be rigid like one piece of a wood and they will not be able to prostrate. Then the bridge will be laid across Hell. We; the companions of the Prophet ﷺ said; O Allah Messenger ﷺ ! What is the bridge? He said; It is a slippery bridge on which there are clamps and Hooks like a thorny seed that is wide at one side and narrow at the other and has thorns with bent ends. Such a thorny seed is found in Najd and is called AlSadan. Some of the believers will cross the bridge as quickly as the wink of an eye; some others as quick as lightning; a strong wind; fast horses or camels. So some will be safe without any harm; some will be safe after receiving some scratches; and some will fall down into Hell Fire. The last person will cross by being dragged over the bridge. The Prophet ﷺ said; You Muslims cannot be more pressing in claiming from me a right that has been clearly proved to be yours than the believers in interceding with Almighty for their Muslim brothers on that Day; when they see themselves safe. They will say; O Allah! Save our brothers for they used to pray with us; fast with us and also do good deeds with us. Allah will say; Go and take out of Hell anyone in whose heart you find faith equal to the weight of one gold Dinar. Allah will forbid the Fire to burn the faces of those sinners. They will go to them and find some of them in Hell Fire up to their feet; and some up to the middle of their legs. So they will take out those whom they will recognize and then they will return; and Allah will say to them ; Go and take out of Hell anyone in whose heart you find faith equal to the weight of one half Dinar. They will take out whomever they will recognize and return; and then Allah will say; Go and take out of Hell anyone in whose heart you find faith equal to the weight of an atom or a smallest ant ; and so they will take out all those whom they will recognize. Abu Saeed said: If you do not believe me then read the Holy Verse:- Surely! Allah wrongs not even of the weight of an atom or a smallest ant but if there is any good done He doubles it. 4.40 The Prophet added; Then the prophets and Angels and the believers will intercede; and last of all the Almighty Allah will say; Now remains My Intercession. He will then hold a handful of the Fire from which He will take out some people whose bodies have been burnt; and they will be thrown into a river at the entrance of Paradise; called the water of life. They will grow on its banks; as a seed carried by the torrent grows. You have noticed how it grows beside a rock or beside a tree; and how the side facing the sun is usually green while the side facing the shade is white. Those people will come out of the River of Life like pearls; and they will have golden necklaces; and then they will enter Paradise whereupon the people of Paradise will say; These are the people emancipated by the Beneficent. He has admitted them into Paradise without them having done any good deeds and without sending forth any good for themselves. Then it will be said to them; For you is what you have seen and its equivalent as well. You killed him after he had said; None has the right to be worshipped but Allah? I said; O Allah Messenger ﷺ ! He said so in order to save himself. The Prophet ﷺ said; You killed him after he had said; None has the right to be worshipped but Allah. Abu Bakr said; Amma badu; whoever amongst you worshipped Muhammad; then Muhammad is dead; but whoever worshipped Allah; Allah is alive and will never die. SahihMuslim-017-001-18387		Abu Huraira reported: One day the Messenger of Allah ﷺ appeared before the public that a man came to him and said: Prophet of Allah; tell me what is Iman. Upon this he the Holy Prophet replied: That you affirm your faith in Allah; His angels; His Books; His meeting; His Messengers and that you affirm your faith in the Resurrection hereafter. He again said: Messenger of Allah; tell me what does AlIslam signify. He the Holy Prophet replied: AlIslam signifies that you worship Allah and do not associate anything with Him and you establish obligatory prayer and you pay the obligatory poor-rate Zakat and you observe the fast of Ramadan. He the inquirer again said: Messenger of Allah; what does AlIhsan imply? He the Holy Prophet replied: That you worship Allah as if you are seeing Him; and in case you fail to see Him; then observe prayer with this idea in your mind that at least He is seeing you. He the inquirer again said: Messenger of Allah; when would there be the hour of Doom ? He the Holy Prophet replied: The one who is asked about it is no better informed than the inquirer. I; however; narrate some of its signs and these are : when the slave-girl will give birth to he master; when the naked; barefooted would become the chiefs of the people - these are some of the signs of Doom. Moreover when the shepherds of the black camels would exult themselves in buildings; this is one of the signs of Doom. Doom is one of the five happenings wrapped in the unseen which no one knows but Allah. Then he the Messenger of Allah recited the verse : Verily Allah! with Him alone is the knowledge of the hour and He it is Who sends down the rain and knows that which is in the wombs and no person knows whatsoever he shall earn tomorrow; and a person knows not in whatsoever land he shall die. Verily Allah is Knowing; Aware. He the narrator; Abu Huraira said: Then the person turned back and went away. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: Bring that man back to me. They the Companions of the Prophet present there went to bring him back; but they saw nothing there. He moved along for a few minutes; when again he said: Muadh Bin Jabal: To which I replied: At your beck and call; and at your pleasure; Messenger of Allah! He then again moved along for a few minutes and said: Muadh Bin Jabal: To which I replied. At your beck and call; and at your pleasure. Messenger of Allah He; the Holy Prophet said: Do you know what right has Allah upon His servants? I said: Allah and His Messenger know best. He the Holy Prophet said: Verily the right of Allah over His servants is that they should worship Him; not associating anything with Him. He the Holy Prophet with Muadh behind him; moved along for a few minutes and said: Muadh Bin Jabal: To which I replied: At your beck and call; and at your pleasure; Messenger of Allah! He the Holy Prophet said: Do you know what rights have servants upon Allah in case they do it i. e. they worship Allah without associating anything with Him ? I Muadh Bin Jabal replied: Allah and His Messenger know best. Upon this he the Holy Prophet remarked: That He would not torment them with the fire of Hell. SahihMuslim-017-001-18740		Abu Haraira reported: The people said to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ : Messenger of Allah; shall we see our Lord on the Day of Resurrection? The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: Do you feel any trouble in seeing the moon on the night when it is full? They said: Messenger of Allah; no. He the Messenger further said: Do you feel any trouble in seeing the sun; when there is no cloud over it? They said: Messenger of Allah. no. He the Holy Prophet said: Verily you would see Him like this as you see the sun and the moon. God will gather people on the Day of Resurrection and say: Let every people follow what they worshipped. Those who worshipped the sun would follow the sun; and those who worshipped the moon would follow the moon; and those who worshipped the devils would follow the devils. This Ummah of Islam alone would be left behind and there would be hypocrites too amongst it. Allah would then come to them in a form other than His own Form; recognisable to them; and would say: I am your Lord. They would say: We take refuge with Allah from thee. We will stay here till our Lord comes to us. and when our Lord would come we would recognise Him. Subsequently Allah would come to them in His own Form; recognisable to them; and say: I am your Lord. They would say: Thou art our Lord. And they would follow Him; and a bridge would be set over the Hell; and I the Holy Prophet and my Ummah would be the first to pass over it; and none but the messengers would speak on that day; and the prayer of the messengers on that day would be: O Allah! grant safety; grant safety. In Hell; there would be long spits like the thorns of Sadan He the Holy Prophet said: Have you seen Sadan? They replied: Yes; Messenger of Allah. He said: Verily those hooks would be like the thorns of Sadan; but no one knows their size except Allah. These would seize people for their misdeeds. Some of them would escape for their good deeds; and some would be rewarded for their deeds till they get salvation. When Allah would finish judging His bondsmen and because of His mercy decide to take out of Hell such people as He pleases. He would command the angels to bring out those who had not associated anything with Allah; to whom Allah decided to show mercy. those who would say: There is no god but Allah. They the angels would recognise them in the Fire by the marks of prostration; for Hell-fire will devour everything limb of the sons of Adam except the marks of prostration. Allah has forbidden the fire to consume the marks of prostration. They will be taken out of the Fire having been burnt; and the water of life would be poured over them; and they will sprout as seed does In the silt carried by flood. Then Allah would finish judging amongst His bondsmen; but a man who will be the last to enter Paradise will remain facing Hell and will say: O my Lord I turn my face away from Hell; for its air has poisoned me ard its blaze has burnt me. He will then call to Allah as long as Allah would wish that he should call to Him. Then Allah; Blessed and Exalted; would say: If I did that; perhaps you would ask for more than that. He would say: I would not ask You more than this; and he would give his Lord covenants and agreements as Allah wished; and so He would turn his face away from the Fire When he turns towards the Paradise and sees it; he will remain silent as long as Allah wishes him to remain so. He will then say: O my Lord I bring me forward to the gate of the Paradise. Allah would say to him: Did you not give covenants and agreements that you would not ask for anything besides what I had given you. Woe to thee! O son of Adam; how treacherous you are! He would say: O my Lord! and would continue calling to Allah till He would say to him: If I grant you that; perhaps you will ask for more. He will reply: No; by Thy greatness; and he will give His Lord promises and covenants as Allah had wished. He would then bring him to the gate of the Paradise; and when he would stand at the gate of the Paradise; it would lay open before him. and he would see the bounty and the joy that there is in it. He would remain quiet as long as Allah would desire him to remain silent. He would then say: O my Lord; admit me to Paradise. Allah. Blessed and Exalted; would say: Did you not give covenants and agreements that you would not ask for anything more than what I had granted you? Woe to you! son of Adam; how treacherous you are! And he would say: O my Lord; I do not wish to be the most miserable of Thy creatures. He would continue calling upon Allah till Allah; Blessed and Exalted; would laugh. When Allah would laugh at him; He would say: Enter the Paradise. When he would enter; Allah would say: State your wish. He would express his wishes till Allah would remind him the desire of such and such things. When his desires would be exhausted Allah would say: That is for thee and; besides it; the like of it also. Ata Bin Yazid said: Abu Saeed AlKhudri was with Abu Huraira and be did not reject anything from the hadith narrated by him; but when Abu Huraira narrated: Allah said to that man; ind its like along with it; Abu Saeed said: Ten like it along with it; O Abu Huraira. Abu Huraira said: I do not remember except the words: That is for you and a similar one along with it. Abu Saeed said: I bear witness to the fact that I remembered from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ his words: That is for thee and ten like it. SahihMuslim-017-001-18743		Abu Saeed AlKhudri reported: Some people during the lifetime of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: Messenger of Allah! shall we see our Lord on the Day of Resurrection? The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: Yes; and added: Do you feel any trouble in seeing the sun at noon with no cloud over it; and do you feel trouble in seeing the moon open in the full moonlit night with no cloud over it? They said: No; Messenger of Allah! He the Holy Prophet said: You will not feel any trouble in seeing Allah on the Day of Resurrection any more than you do in seeing any one of them. When the Day of Resurrection comes a Muadhdhin a proclaimer would proclaim: Let every people follow what they used to worship. Then all who worshipped idols and stones besides Allah would fall into the Fire; till only the righteous and the vicious and some of the people of the Book who worshipped Allah are left. Then the Jews would be summoned; and it would be said to them: What did you worship? They will say: We worshipped Uzair; son of Allah. It would be said to them: You tell a lie; Allah had never had a spouse or a son. What do you want now? They would say: We feel thirsty; O our Lord! Quench our thirst. They would be directed to a certain direction and asked: Why dont you go there to drink water? Then they would be pushed towards the Fire and they would find to their great dismay that it was but a mirage and the raging flames of fire would be consuming one another; and they would fall into the Fire. Then the Christians would be summoned and it would be said to them: What did you worship? They would say: We worshipped Jesus; son of Allah. It would be said to them: You tell a lie; Allah did not take for Himself either a spouse or a son. Then it would be said to them: What do you want? They would say: Thirsty we are; O our Lord! Quench our thirst. They would be directed to a certain direction and asked: Why dont you go there to get water? But they would be pushed and gathered together towards the Hell; which was like a mirage to them; and the flames would consume one another. They would fall Into the Fire; till no one is left except he who worshipped Allah; be he pious or sinful. The Lord of the Universe; Glorified and Exalted; would come to them in a form recognisable to them and say; What are you looking for? Every people follow that which they worshipped. They would say: Our Lord; we kept ourselves separate from the people in the world; though we felt great need of them; we; however; did not associate ourselves with them. He would say: I am your Lord. They would say: We take refuge with Allah from thee and do not associate anything with Allah. They would repeat it twice or thrice; till some of them would be about to return. It would be said: Is there any sign between you and Him by which you will recognise Him? They would say: Yes. and the things would be laid bare. Those who used to prostrate themselves before God of their own accord would be permitted by God to prostrate themselves. But there would remain none who used to prostrate out of fear of people and ostentation but Allah would make his back as one piece; and whenever he would attempt to prostrate he would fall on his back. Then they would raise their heads and He would assume the Form in which they had seen Him the first time and would say: I am your Lord. They would say: Thou art our Lord. Then the bridge would be set up over the Hell and intercession would be allowed and they will say: O God; keep safe; keep safe. It was asked: Messenger of Allah; what is this bridge? He said: The void in which one Is likely to slip. There would be hooks; tongs; spits like the thorn that is found in Najd and is known as Sadan. The believers would then pass over within the twinkling of an eye; like lightning; like wind; like a bird; like the finest horses and camels. Some will escape and be safe; some will be lacerated and let go; and some will be pushed into the fire of Hell till the believers will find rescue from the Fire. By One in Whose hand is my life; there will be none among you more eager to claim a right than the believers on the Day of Resurrection for saying their brethren in the Fire who would say: O our Lord; they were fasting along with us; and praying and performing pilgrimage. It will be said to them: Take out those whom you recognise. Then their persons would be forbidden to the Fire; and they would take out a large number of people who had been overtaken by Fire up to the middle of the shank or up to the knees. They would then say: O our Lord I not one of those about whom Thou didst give us command remains in it. He will then say: Go back and bring out those in whose hearts you find good of the weight of a dinar Then they will take out a large number of people. Then they would say: O our Lord! we have not left anyone about whom You commanded us. He will then say: Go back and bring out those in whose hearts you find as much as half a dinar of good. Then they will take out a large number of people; and would say: O our Lord! not one of those about whom Thou commanded us we have left in it. Then He would say: Go back and in whose heart you find good to the weight of a particle bring him out. They would bring out a large number of people; and would then say: O our Lord; now we have not left anyone in it Hell having any good in him. Abu Saeed Khudri said: If you dont testify me in this hadith; then recite if you like: Surely Allah wrongs not the weight of an atom; and if it is a good deed. He multiplies it and gives from Himself a great reward AlQuran; iv. 40. Then Allah; Exalted and Great; would say: The angels have interceded; the apostles have interceded and the believers have interceded; and no one remains to grant pardon but the Most Merciful of the mercifuls. He will then take a handful from Fire and bring out from it people who never did any good and who had been turned into charcoal; and will cast them into a river called the river of life; on the outskirts of Paradise. They will come out as a seed comes cut from the silt carried by flood. You see it near the stone or near the tree. That which is exposed to the sun is yellowish or greenish and which is under the shade is white. They said: Messenger of Allah! it seems as if you had been tending a flock in the jungle. He the Holy Prophet said: They will come forth like pearls with seals on their necks. The inhabitants of Paradise would recognise them and say : Those are who have been set free by the Compassionate One. Who has admitted them into Paradise without any good deed that they did or any good that they sent in advance Then He would say: Enter the Paradise; whatever you see in it is yours. They would say: O Lord; Thou hast bestowed upon us favours which Thou didst not bestow upon anyone else in the world. He would say: There is with Me a favour for you better than this. They would say: O our Lord! which thing is better than this? He would say: It is My pleasure. He was directed to a monk. He came to him and told him that he had killed ninety-nine persons and asked him whether there was any scope for his repentance to be accepted. He said: No. He killed him also and thus completed one hundred. He then asked about the learned persons of the earth and he was directed to a scholar; and he told him that he had killed one hundred persons and asked him whether there was any scope for his repentance to be accepted. He said: Yes; what stands between you and the repentance? You better go to such and such land; there are people devoted to prayer and worship and you also worship along with them and do not come to the land of yours since it was an evil land for you. So he went away and he had hardly covered half the distance when death came to him and there was a dispute between the angels of mercy and the angels of punishment. The angels of mercy said: This man has come as a penitant and remorseful to Allah and the angels of punishment said: He has done no good at all. Then there came another angel in the form of a human being in order to decide between them. He said: You measure the land to which he has drawn near. They measured it and found him nearer to the land where he intended to go the land of piety ; and so the angels of mercy took possession of it. Qatada said thatHassan told him that it was said to them that as death approached him; he crawled upon his chest and managed to slip in the land of mercy. SahihMuslim-017-001-24485		Mahmud Bin AlRabi reported that Ibn Bin Malik; who was one of the Companions of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and who participated in the Battle of Badr and was among the Ansar of Medina ; told that he came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and said: Messenger of Allah; I have lost my eyesight and I lead my people in prayer. When there is a downpour there is then a current of water in the valley that stands between me and them and I find it impossible to go to their Masjid and lead them in prayer. Messenger of Allah; I earnestly beg of you that you should come and observe prayer at a place of worship in my house so that I should then use it as a place of worship. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: Well; it God so wills. I would soon do so. Itban said: On the following day when the day dawned; the Messenger of Allah may peace he upon him came along with Abu Bakr at-Siddiq; and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ asked permission to get into the house. I gave him the permission; and be did not sit after entering the house; when he said: At what place in your house you desire me to say prayer? I Itban Bin Malik said: I pointed to a corner in the house; The Messenger of Allah ﷺ stood at that place for prayer and pronounced Allah-o-Akbar Allah is the Greatest as an expression for the commencement of prayer. We too stood behind him; and he said two rakahs and then pronounced salutation marking the end of the prayer. We detained him the Holy Prophet for the meat curry we had prepared for; him. The people of the neighbouring houses came and thus there was a good gathering in our house. One of them said: Where is Malik Bin Dukhshun? Upon this one of them remarked: He is a hypocrite; he does not love Allah and His Messenger. Thereupon the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: Do not say so about him. Dont you see that he utters La ilaha ill-Allah There is no god but Allah and seeks the pleasure of Allah through it? They said: Allah and His Messenger know beet. One among the audience said: We see his inclination and wellwishing for hypocrites only. Upon this the Messenger of Allah ﷺ again said: Verily Allah has forbidden the Fire for one who says: There is no god but Allah; thereby seeking Allah pleasure. Ibn Shihab said: I asked Husain Bin Muhammad AlAnsar he was one of the leaders of Banu Salim about the hadith transmitted by Mahmud Bin Rabi and he testified it. SunanAlNasai-017-001-11333		Abd AlAziz Bin Abd AlMalik Bin Abu Mahdhurah narrated that Abdullah Bin Muhairiz - who was an orphan under the care of Abu Mahdhurah until he prepared him to go to AlSham - informed him: he said: I said to Abu Mahdhurah: I am going to AlSham and I am afraid that I will be asked about how you say the Adhan.He told me that Abu Mahdhurah said to him; I went out with a group of people and we were somewhere on the road to Hunain when the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was coming back from Hunain. The Messenger of Allah met us somewhere on the road and the Muadhdhin of the Messenger of Allah called the Adhan for prayer in the presence of the Messenger of Allah. We heard the voice of the Muadhdhin and we were careless about it the Adhan ; so we started yelling; immitating and mocking it. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ heard us; so he sent some people who brought us to stand infront of him. He said; Who is the one whose voice I heard so loud? The people all pointed to me; and they were telling the truth. He sent them all away; but kept me there and said to me: Stand up and call the Adhan for the Prayer. I stood up and the Messenger of Allah taught me the Adhan himself. He Said; Say: Allahu Akbar; Allahu akbar; Allahu Akbar; Allahu Akbar; Ashhadu an la ilaha illallah; Ashhadu an la ilaha illallah; Ashhadu anna Muhammadan Rasulallah; Ashhadu anna Muhammadan Rasulallah Allah is the Greatest;Allah is the Greatest; Allah is the Greatest; Allah is the Greatest; I bear witness that there is none worthy of worship except Allah; I bear witness that there is none worthy of worship except Allah; I bear witness that Muhammad is the Messenger Allah;I bear witness that Muhammad is the Messenger Allah. Then he said: Then repeat and say in a loud voice:Ashhadu an la ilaha illallah; Ashhadu an la ilaha illallah; Ashhadu anna Muhammadan Rasulallah; Ashhadu anna Muhammadan Rasulallah; Haya alas-salah; Haya ala-salah; Haya alal-falah Haya alal-falah; Allahu Akbar; Allahu Akbar; La ilaha ill-Allah I bear witness that there is none worthy of worship except Allah; I bear witness that there is none worthy of worship except Allah; I bear witness that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah; I bear witness that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah; Come to prayer; come to prayer; come to prosperity; come to prosperity; Allah is the Greatest; Allah is the Greatest; there is none worthy of worship except Allah. Then he called me when I had finished saying the Adhan; and hegave me a bundle in which there wassome silver. I said: O Messenger of Allah; let me be the one doing the Adhan in Makkah. He said: I command you to do so. Then I came to Attab Bin Aasi d who was the governor of the Messenger of Allah in Makkah; and I called theAdhan for prayer with him upon the orders of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. SunanAlNasai-017-001-11334		It was narrated that Abu Mahdhurah said: When the Messenger of Allah left Hunain; I was the tenth of a group of ten of the people of Makkah who were trying to catch up with them. We heard them calling the Adhan for the prayer and we started to repeat the Adhan; mocking them. The Messenger of Allah said; I heard among these people the Adhan of one who has a beautiful voice. He sent for us; and we recited the Adhan one by one; and I was the last of them. When I said the Adhan; he said: Come here. He sat me down in front of him and rubbed my forelock and blessed me three times; then he said; Go and give the Adhan at the sacred House. I said: How; O Messenger of Allah? SunanAlNasai-017-001-11899		It was narrated from Anas Bin Malik that: The Messenger of Allah SAWSYMOBOL said: I have been commanded to fight the people until they bear witness that there is none worthy of worship except Allah and that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah. If they bear witness that there is none worthy of worship except Allah and that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah; they turn to face the same Qiblah as us; they eat our slaughtered animals; and they pray as we pray; then their blood and their wealth are forbidden to us; except for a right that is due; and they have the same rights and duties as the Muslims. SunanAlNasai-017-001-12420		It was narrated that Ibn Abbas said: There were kings after Isa Bin Mariam who altered the Tawrah and the Injil; but there were among them believers who read the Tawrah. It was said to their kings: We have never heard of any slander worse than that of those believers who slander us and recite: And whosoever does not judge by what Allah has revealed; such are the disbelievers. In these Verses; they are criticizing us for our deeds when they recite them. So he called them together and gave them the choice between being put to death; or giving up reading the Tawrah and Injil; except for what had been altered. They said: Why do you want us to change? Leave us alone. Some of them said: Build us a tower and let us go up there; and give us something to lift up our food and drink so we do not have to mix with you. Others said: Let us go and wander throughout the land; and we will drink as the wild animals drink; and if you capture us in your land; you may kill us. Others said: Build houses for us in the wilderness; and we will dig wells and grow vegetables; and we will not mix with you or pass by you; for there is no one of the tribes among whom we do not have close relatives. So they did that; and Allah revealed the words: But the monasticism which they invented for themselves; We did not prescribe for them; but they sought it only to please Allah therewith; but that they did not observe it with the right observance. Then others said: We will worship as so-and-so worshipped; and we will wander as so-and-so wandered; and we will adopt houses in the wilderness as so-and-so did. But they were still following their Shirk with no knowledge of the faith of those whom they claimed to be following. When Allah sent the Prophet SAWSYMOBOL; and they were only a few of them left; a man came down from his cell; and a wanderer came from his travels; and a monk came from his monastery; and they believed in him. And Allah said: O you who believe! Fear Allah; and believe in His Messenger Muhammad ; He will give you a double portion of His mercy - meaning; two rewards; because of their having believed in Isa and in the Tawrah and Injil; and for having believing in Muhammad SAWSYMOBOL; and He will give you a light by which you shall walk straight ; - meaning; the Quran; and their following the Prophet SAWSYMOBOL; and He said: So that the people of the Scripture Jews and Christians may know that they have no power whatsoever over the Grace of Allah. SunanAlNasai-017-001-14105		It was narrated that AlNuman Bin Salim said: I heard Aws say: I came to the Messenger of Allah SAWSYMOBOL among the delegation of Thaqif and I was with him in a tent. Everyone in the tent had gone to sleep except him and I. A man came and whispered to him; and he said: Go and kill him. Then he said: Does he not bear witness to La ilaha illallah there is none worthy of worship except Allah and that I am the Messenger of Allah? He said: He does bear witness to that. The Messenger of Allah SAWSYMOBOL said: Leave him alone. Then he said: I have been commanded to fight the people until they say La ilaha illallah. If they say it; then their blood and their wealth become forbidden to me; except for a right that is due. One of the narrators Muhammad said: I said to Shubah: Doesnt the Hadith contain: Does he not testify to La ilaha illallah there is none worthy of worship except Allah and that I am the Messenger of Allah? I looked and found the people gathered; and in the midst of them was a group; there I saw Ali Bin Abi Talib; AlZubair; Talha h and Saad Bin Abi Waqqas; may Allah have mercy on them. When I got there; it was said that Uthman Bin Affan had come. He came; wearing a yellowish cloak. I said to my companion: Stay where you are until I find out what is happening. Uthman said: Is Ali here? Is AlZubair here? Is Talha h here? Is Saad here? They said: Yes. He said: I adjure you by Allah; beside Whom there is none worthy of worship; are you aware that the Messenger of Allah said: Whoever buys the Mirbad of Banu so and so; Allah will forgive him; and I bought it; then I came to the Messenger of Allah and told him; and he said: Add it to our Masjid and the reward for it will be yours? They said: Yes. He said: I adjure you by Allah; beside Whom there is none worthy of worship; are you aware that the Messenger of Allah said: Whoever buys the well of Rumah; Allah will forgive him; so I came to the Messenger of Allah and said: I have bought the well of Rumah. He said: Give it to provide water for the Muslims; and the reward for it will be yours? They said: Yes. He said: I adjure you by Allah; beside Whom there is none worthy of worship; are you aware that the Messenger of Allah said: Whoever equips the army of AlUsrah i.e. Tabuk ; Allah will forgive him; so I equipped them until they were not lacking even a rope or a bridle? They said: Yes. He said: O Allah; bear witness; O Allah; bear witness; O Allah; bear witness. Then he went to perform Sai and said: We will start with that with which Allah started. So he started with AlSafa; climbing up; until he could see the House; and he said three times: La ilaha illallah; Wahdahu la sharika lah; lah Almulku wa lah Alhamdu; yuhyi wa yumitu; wa huwaala kulli shayin qadir There is none worthy of worship except Allah alone with no partner or associate; His is the dominion and to Him be praise; He gives life and death; and He has power over all things. Then exclaimed Allah greatness; then he supplicated as much as was decreed for him. Then he came down walking until he reached level ground at the bottom of the valley. Then he hastened until the ground began to rise. Then he walked until he came to AlMarwah and clime dup it; and when he could see the House he said: La ilaha illallah; Wahdahu la sharika lah; lah Almulku wa lah Alhamdu; yuhyi wa yumitu; wa huwaala kulli shayin qadir There is none worthy of worship except Allah alone with no partner or associate; His is the dominion and to Him be praise; He gives life and death; and He has power over all things. He said that three times; then he remembered Allah and glorified and praised Him; then he supplicated there for as long as Allah willed. And he did that until he finished Sai. His is the Dominion; to Him be all praise; and He is able to do all things; there is no power and no strength except with Allah SWT the Almighty. There is none worthy of worship except Allah SWT ; and we worship none but Him; the source of blessing and kindness and the One Who is deserving of all good praise. There is none worthy of worship except Allah SWT ; and we are sincere in faith and devotion to Him even though the disbelievers detest it. His is the Dominion; to Him be all praise; and He is able to do all things; there is no power and no strength except with Allah SWT the Almighty. There is none worthy of worship except Allah SWT ; and we worship none but Him; the source of blessing and kindness and the One Who is deserving of all good praise. When he went out she was in her place of worship; and when he returned she was in her place of worship. He asked: Have you been in your place of worship continuously? She said: Yes. He then said: Since leaving you I have said three times four phrases which; if weighed against all that you have said during this period ; would prove to be heavier: glory be to Allah; and I begin with praise of Him to the number of His creatures; in accordance with His good pleasure; to the weight of His throne and to the ink extent of His words. He asked: Who are the people buried in these graves? The people replied: Messenger of Allah! These are some people who died in the pre-Islamic times. He said: Seek refuge in Allah from the punishment of the fire; and the trail of Antichrist. They asked: Why is it that; Messenger of Allah? He said: When a man is placed in his grave; an angel comes to him and says to him: Whom did you worship? Allah then guides him and he says: I worshiped Allah. He is then asked: What was your opinion of this man? He replies: He is Allahs servant and His Apostle. He will not then be asked about anything else. He will then be taken to his abode in Hell and will be told: This was your abode in Hell; but Allah protected you and had mercy on you substituted for you an abode in Paradise for it. He will say: Leave me so that I may go and give glad tidings to my family. He will be told: Dwell. When an infidel is placed in his grave; an angel comes to him; reprimands him and asks him: Whom did you worship? He replies: I do not know. He will be told: You neither knew nor did you follow the believers. He is then asked: What was your opinion on this man? He replies: I held the opinion that the other people held. He will then give him a blow between his ears with an iron hammer and will utter a shout which will be heard by all the creatures near him with the exception of men and jinn. One day he found him in sin and said to him: Refrain from it. He said: Leave me alone with my Lord. Have you been sent as a watchman over me? He said: I swear by Allah; Allah will not forgive you; nor will he admit you to Paradise. Then their souls were taken back by Allah ; and they met together with the Lord of the worlds. He Allah said to this man who had striven hard in worship; Had you knowledge about Me or had you power over that which I had in My hand? He said to the man who sinned: Go and enter Paradise by My mercy. He said about the other: Take him to Hell. Abu Huraira said: By Him in Whose hand my soul is; he spoke a word by which this world and the next world of his were destroyed.
