We were about to be put to trial for the pleasure of seeing the Prophet; Abu Bakr retreated to join the row as he thought that the Prophet ﷺ would lead the prayer. The Prophet ﷺ beckoned us to complete the prayer and he let the curtain fall. On the same day he died.

The milk was mixed with water drawn from the well in Anas house. A tumbler of it was presented to Allah Messenger ﷺ who drank from it. Then Abu Bakr was sitting on his left side and a bedouin on his right side. When the Prophet ﷺ removed the tumbler from his mouth; Umar was afraid that the Prophet ﷺ might give it to the bedouin; so he said. O Allah Messenger ﷺ ! Give it to Abu Bakr who is sitting by your side. But the Prophet ﷺ gave it to the bedouin; who was to his right and said; You should start with the one on your right side.

He Abu Bakr said: Umar came to me and said: The fighting inflicted many casualties among the reciters of the Quran on the Day of AlYamamah; and I fear that there will be more casualties among the reciters in other parts of the land; such that much of the Quran may be lost. In my view; you should order that the Quran be collected. Abu Bakr said to Umar: How can I do something which was not done my the Messenger of Allah ﷺ ? Umar said: By Allah! It is something good. Umar continued trying to convince me until Allah opened up my chest to that which He had opened the chest of Umar; and I saw it as he saw it. Zaid said: Abu Bakr said: You are a young wise man; and we have no suspicions of you. You used to write down the Revelation for the Messenger of Allah as the Quran was revealed. He Zaid said: By Allah! If they had ordered to move one of the mountains it would have been lighter on me than that. He said: I said: How will you do something which was not done by the Messenger of Allah ﷺ ? Abu Bakr said: By Allah! It is something good. Abu Bakr and Umar continued trying to convince me; until Allah opened up my chest for that; just as He had opened their chests; the chest of Abu Bakr and the chest of Umar. So I began searching for Quranic material from parchments; leaf stalks of date-palms and AlLikhaf - meaning stones - and the chests of men. I found the end of Surah Baraah with Khuzaimah Bin Thabit: Verily; there has come to you a Messenger from among yourselves. It grieves him that you should receive any injury or difficulty. He is eager for you; for the believers he is full of pity; kind; and merciful. But if they turn away; say: Allah is sufficient for me. There is no god but He; in Him I put my trust; and He is the Lord of the Mighty Throne 9:128 & 129.

But when the people increased in number during the caliphate of Uthman; he introduced a third Adhan on Friday for the Jumua prayer and it was pronounced at AlZaura and that new state of affairs remained so in the succeeding years.

Each of them related to me a portion of that narration. They said that Aisha said ; Then Allah revealed the ten Verses starting with:-Verily! Those who spread the slander.. 24.11-21 All these verses were in proof of my innocence. Abu Bakr AlSiddiq who used to provide for Mistah some financial aid because of his relation to him; said; By Allah; I will never give anything in charity to Mistah; after what he has said about Aisha Then Allah revealed:- And let not those among you who are good and are wealthy swear not to give any sort of help to their kins men.... 24.22 On that; Abu Bakr said; Yes; by Allah; I like that Allah should forgive me. and then resumed giving Mistah the aid he used to give him and said; By Allah! I will never withhold it from him.

Uqba Bin Amr AlAnsari; the grand-father of Zaid BinHassan who was one of the Badr warriors; came in and said; to AlMughira ; You know that Gabriel came down and offered the prayer and Allah Messenger ﷺ prayed five prescribed prayers; and Gabriel said to the Prophet ﷺ ; I have been ordered to do so i.e. offer these five prayers at these fixed stated hours of the day.

Salim said; Abdullah Bin Umar used to do the same whenever he was in a hurry during the journey. After making the call for Iqama; for the Maghrib prayer he used to offer three rakat and then perform Taslim. After waiting for a short while; he would pronounce the Iqama for the Isha prayer and offer two rakat and perform Taslim. He never prayed any Nawafil in between the two prayers or after the Isha prayers till he got up in the middle of the night for Tahajjud prayer.

What Allah as bestowed on His Apostle and taken away from the people of the townships - belong to Allah - to the Apostle; and to kindred and orphans; the needy and the wayfarer; to the indigent emigrants; those who were expelled from their homes and their property; and to those who; before them; had homes in Medina ; and had adopted the faith; and to those who came after them. This verse completely covered all the people ; they remained no one from Muslims but he had his right in it; or share according to Ayoub version except the slaves.

  Narrated AlZuhri: Urwa Bin AlZubair said that he asked Aisha about the meaning of the Quranic Verse:- And if you fear that you will not deal fairly with the orphan girls then marry other women of your choice. 4.2-3 Aisha said; It is about a female orphan under the guardianship of her guardian who is inclined towards her because of her beauty and wealth; and likes to marry her with a Mahr less than what is given to women of her standard. So they i.e. guardians were forbidden to marry the orphans unless they paid them a full appropriate Mahr otherwise they were ordered to marry other women instead of them. Later on the people asked Allah Messenger ﷺ about it. So Allah revealed the following Verse:- They ask your instruction O Muhammad! regarding women. Say: Allah instructs you regarding them... 4.127 and in this Verse Allah indicated that if the orphan girl was beautiful and wealthy; her guardian would have the desire to marry her without giving her an appropriate Mahr equal to what her peers could get; but if she was undesirable for lack of beauty or wealth; then he would not marry her; but seek to marry some other woman instead of her. So; since he did not marry her when he had no inclination towards her; he had not the right to marry her when he had an interest in her; unless he treated her justly by giving her a full Mahr and securing all her rights.

  Narrated AlZuhri: Urwa Bin AlZubair; Saeed Bin AlMusaiyab; AlQama Bin Waqqas and Ubaidullah Bin Abdullah related the narration of Aisha; the wife the Prophet; when the slanderers had said about her what they had said and Allah later declared her innocence. Each of them related a part of the narration wherein the Prophet ﷺ said to Aisha. If you are innocent; then Allah will declare your innocence: but if you have committed a sin; then ask for Allah Forgiveness and repent to him. Aisha said; By Allah; I find no example for my case except that of Joseph father when he said ; So for me patience is most fitting.   Narrated AlZuhri: Urwa said; Aisha told me that Allah Messenger ﷺ used to examine the women emigrants. We have been told also that when Allah revealed the order that the Muslims should return to the pagans what they had spent on their wives who emigrated after embracing Islam and that the Muslims should not keep unbelieving women as their wives; Umar divorced two of his wives; Qariba; the daughter of Abu Umayah and the daughter of Jarwal AlKhuzai. Later on Muawiya married Qariba and Abu Jahm married the other. When the pagans refused to pay what the Muslims had spent on their wives; Allah revealed: And if any of your wives have gone from you to the unbelievers and you have an accession by the coming over of a woman from the other side then pay to those whose wives have gone the equivalent of what they had spent on their Mahr. 60.11 So; Allah ordered that the Muslim whose wife has gone; should be given; as a compensation of the Mahr he had given to his wife; from the Mahr of the wives of the pagans who had emigrated deserting their husbands. We do not know any of the women emigrants who deserted Islam after embracing it. We have also been told that Abu Basir Bin Aasi d AlThaqafi came to the Prophet ﷺ as a Muslim emigrant during the truce. AlAkhnas Bin Shariq wrote to the Prophet ﷺ requesting him to return Abu Basir.

Some people were on the point of doubting the truth of what the Prophet had said while they were in this state; suddenly someone said that he was still alive but severely wounded.
