    Narrated Amr Bin Suhaib: On his father authority; said that his grandfather reported that the value of the blood-money at the time of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was eight hundred dinars or eight thousand dirhams; and the blood-money for the people of the Book was half of that for Muslims. He said: This applied till Umar Allah be pleased with him became caliph and he made a speech in which he said: Take note! Camels have become dear. So Umar fixed the value for those who possessed gold at one thousand dinars; for those who possessed silver at twelve thousand dirhams ; for those who possessed cattle at two hundred cows; for those who possessed sheep at two thousand sheep; and for those who possessed suits of clothing at two hundred suits. He left the blood-money for dhimmis protected people as it was; not raising it in proportion to the increase he made in the blood-wit.

    Narrated Amr Bin Suhaib: On his father authority; said that his grandfather said: We came down with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ from a turning of a valley. He turned his attention to me and I was wearing a garment dyed with a reddish yellow dye. He asked: What is this garment over you? I recognised what he disliked. I then came to my family who were burning their oven. I threw it the garment in it and came to him the next day. He asked: Abdullah; what have you done with the garment? I informed him about it. He said: Why did you not give it to one of your family to wear; for there is no harm in it for women.

His son Hisham emancipated fifty slaves and his son Amr intended to emancipate the remaining fifty on his behalf; but he said: I should ask first the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. He; therefore; came to the Prophet ﷺ and said: Messenger of Allah; my father left in his will that a hundred slaves should be emancipated on his behalf and Hisham has emancipated fifty on his behalf and fifty remain. Shall I emancipate them on his behalf? The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: Had he been a Muslim and you had emancipated slaves on his behalf; or given sadaqah on his behalf; or performed the pilgrimage; that would have reached him.

And he said: If anyone has a child born to him and wishes to offer a sacrifice on its behalf; he may offer two resembling sheep for a boy and one for a girl. And he was asked about fara. He replied: Fara is right. If you leave it i.e. let it grow till it becomes a healthy camel of one year or two years; then you give it to a widow or give it in the path of Allah for using it as a riding beast; it is better than slaughtering it at the age when its meat is stuck to its hair; and you turn over your milking vessel and annoy your camel.

    Narrated Amr Bin Taghlib: Allah Messenger ﷺ gave gifts to some people to the exclusion of some others. The latter seemed to be displeased by that. The Prophet ﷺ said; I give to some people; lest they should deviate from True Faith or lose patience; while I refer other people to the goodness and contentment which Allah has put in their hearts; and Amr Bin Taghlib is amongst them. Amr Bin Taghlib said; The statement of Allah Apostle is dearer to me than red camels. Narrated AlHasan: Amr Bin Taghlib told us that Allah Messenger ﷺ got some property or some war prisoners and he distributed them in the above way i.e. giving to some people to the exclusion of others.

    Narrated Amr Bin Taghlib: Some property or something was brought to Allah Messenger ﷺ and he distributed it. He gave to some men and ignored the others. Later he got the news of his being admonished by those whom he had ignored. So he glorified and praised Allah and said; Amma badu. By Allah; I may give to a man and ignore another; although the one whom I ignore is more beloved to me than the one whom I give. But I give to some people as I feel that they have no patience and no contentment in their hearts and I leave those who are patient and self-content with the goodness and wealth which Allah has put into their hearts and Amr Bin Taghlib is one of them. Amr added; By Allah! Those words of Allah Apostle are more beloved to me than the best red camels.

    Narrated Amr Bin Yahya: My father said; I saw Amr Bin AbiHassan asking Abdullah Bin Zaid about the ablution of the Prophet. Abdullah Bin Zaid asked for an earthenware pot containing water and performed ablution in front of them. He poured water over his hands and washed them thrice. Then he put his right hand in the pot and rinsed his mouth and washed his nose by putting water in it and then blowing it out thrice with three handfuls of water Again he put his hand in the water and washed his face thrice. After that he put his hand in the pot and washed his forearms up to the elbows twice and then again put his hand in the water and passed wet hands over his head by bringing them to the front and then to the back and once more he put his hand in the pot and washed his feet up to the ankles. Narrated Wuhaib:That he the Prophet ﷺ in narration 191 above had passed his wet hands on the head once only.

    Narrated Amr Bin Yahya: on the authority of his father Abdullah Bin Zaid poured water on his hands from a utensil containing water and washed them and then with one handful of water he rinsed his mouth and cleaned his nose by putting water in it and then blowing it out. He repeated it thrice. He; then; washed his hands and forearms up to the elbows twice and passed wet hands over his head; both forwards and backwards; and washed his feet up to the ankles and said; This is the ablution of Allah Messenger ﷺ.

    Narrated Amr Ibn Abasah: Sulaym Ibn Amir; a man of Himyar; said: There was a covenant between Muawiyah and the Byzantines; and he was going towards their country; and when the covenant came to an end; he attacked them. A man came on a horse; or a packhorse saying; Allah is Most Great; Allah is Most Great; let there be faithfulness and not treachery. And when they looked they found that he was Amr Ibn Abasah. Muawiyah sent for him and questioned him about that. He said: I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: When one has covenant with people he must not strengthen or loosen it till its term comes to an end or he brings it to an end in agreement with them to make both the parties equal. So Muawiyah returned.

Then we said: Look at him. He is urinating as a woman does. The Prophet ﷺ ; heard this and said: Do you not know what befell a person from amongst Banu Israil the children of Israel ? When urine fell on them; they would cut off the place where the urine fell; but he that person forbade them to do so ; and was punished in his grave.Abu Dawud said: One version of Abu Mousa has the wording: he cut off his skin.Another version of Abu Mousa goes: he cut off part of his body.

He said: Amr; you led your companions is prayer while you were sexually defiled? I informed him of the cause which impeded me from washing. And I said: I heard Allah say: Do not kill yourself; verily Allah is merciful to you.     Narrated Amr Ibn AlFaghwa AlKhuzai: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ called me. He intended to send me with some goods to Abu Sufyan to distribute among the Quraysh at Mecca after the conquest. He said: Search for a companion. Then Amr Ibn Umayah AlDamri came to me and said: I have been told that you are intending to make a journey and are seeking a companion. I said: Yes. He said: I am your companion. I then went to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and said: I have found a companion. He asked: Who is he? I replied: Amr Ibn Umayah AlDamri. He said: When you come down to the territory of his people; be careful of him; for a maxim says: If one is your real brother; do not feel safe with him. So we proceeded; and when I reached AlAbwa; he said to me: I have some work with my people at Waddan; so stay here till I come back. I said: Do not lose your way. When he turned his back; I recalled the words of the Prophet ﷺ. So I rode my camel and galloped without stopping. When I reached AlAsafir; he was pursuing me with a group of men. So I galloped and forged ahead of him. When he saw me that I had outstripped him; they returned and he came to me. He said to me: I had some work with my people. I said: Yes. We then went on until we reached Mecca; and I gave the goods to Abu Sufyan.

    Narrated Amr Ibn Anbasah AlSulami: I asked: Messenger of Allah; in which part of night the supplication is more likely to be accepted? He replied: In the last part: Pray as much as you like; for the prayer is attended by the angels and it is recorded till you offer the dawn prayer; then stop praying when the sun is rising till it has reached the height of one or two lances; for it rises between the two horns of the Devil; and the infidels offer prayer for it at that time. Then pray as much as you like; because the prayer is witnessed and recorded till the shadow of a lance be- comes equal to it. Then cease prayer; for at that time the Hell-fire is heated up and doors of Hell are opened. When the sun declines; pray as much as you like; for the prayer is witnessed till you pray the afternoon prayer; then cease prayer till the sun sets; for it sets between the horns of the Devil; and at that time the infidels offer prayer for it. He narrated a lengthy tradition. Abbas said: Abu Salam narrated this tradition in a similar manner from Abu Umamah. If I have made a mistake unintentionally; I beg pardon of Allah and repent to Him.

    Narrated Amr Ibn Awuf AlMuzani: The Prophet ﷺ assigned as a fief to Bilal Ibn AlMuzani the mines of AlQabaliyah both which lay on the upper side and which lay on the lower side; and the land which was suitable for cultivation at Quds. He did not give him the land which involved the right of a Muslim. The Prophet ﷺ wrote a document for him. It goes: In the name of Allah; the Compassionate; the Merciful. This is what the Messenger of Allah ﷺ assigned to Bilal Ibn Harith AlMuzani. He gave him the mines of AlQabaliyah; both which lay on the upper side and which lay on the lower side; and the land which is suitable for cultivation at Quds. He did not give him the right of any Muslim.Abu Uwais said: A similar tradition has been narrated to me by Thawr Bin Zaid; client of Banu AlDail Bin Bakr Bin Kinahah from Ikrimah on the authority of Ibn Abbas.

    Narrated Amr Ibn Awuf AlMuzani: The Prophet ﷺ assigned as a fief to Bilal Ibn Harith AlMuzani the mines of AlQabaliyah; both those which lay on the upper side those and which lay on the lower side. The narrator; Ibn AlNadr; added: also Jars and Dhat AlNusub. The agreed version reads: and the land which is suitable for cultivation at Quds. He did not assign to Bilal Ibn AlHarith the right of any Muslim. The Prophet ﷺ wrote a document to him: This is what the Messenger of Allah ﷺ assigned to Bilal Ibn AlHarith AlMuzani. He gave him the mines of AlQabaliyah both those which lay on the upper and lower side; and that which is fit for cultivation at Quds. He did not give him the right of any Muslim. The narrator Abu Uways said: A similar tradition has been transmitted to me by Thawr Ibn Zayd from Ikrimah on the authority of Ibn Abbas from the Prophet ﷺ. Ibn AlNadr added: Ubay Ibn Kaab wrote it.

They the people performed ablution and offered two rakahs of the morning prayer sunnah prayer. He then commanded Bilal to utter the iqamah; i.e. to summon the people to attend the prayer. He announced the prayer i.e. uttered the iqamah and he led them in the morning prayer.

Is it possible that permission be granted to me for saying prayer in my house? He asked: Do you hear summons adhan ? He said: Yes. He said: I do not find any permission for you.

Ibn Umar went to the partner of Nawas and bought those camels. The man returned to Nawas and told him that he had sold those camels. Nawas asked him; To whom have you sold them? He replied; To such and such Sheikh. Nawas said; Woe to you; By Allah; that Sheikh was Ibn Umar. Nawas then went to Ibn Umar and said to him; My partner sold you camels suffering from the disease of excessive thirst and he had not known you. Ibn Umar told him to take them back. When Nawas went to take them; Ibn Umar said to him; Leave them there as I am happy with the decision of Allah Messenger ﷺ that there is no oppression.

No doubt; the most learned man; namely Ibn Abbas told me that the Prophet ﷺ had not forbidden it but said; It is more beneficial for one to give his land free to one brother than to charge him a fixed rental.

    Narrated Amr: Ibn Umar said; By Allah; I have not put a brick over a brick i.e. constructed a building or planted any date-palm tree since the death of the Prophet. Sufyan the sub narrator said; I told this narration of Ibn Umar to one of his Ibn Umars relatives; and he said; By Allah; he did build something. Sufyan added; I said; He must have said the above narration before he built.

  • Narrated Amr: Jabir Bin Abdullah said; Mua
    Narrated Amr: Jabir Bin Abdullah said; Muadh Bin Jabal used to pray with the Prophet ﷺ and then go to lead his people in prayer Once he led the Isha prayer and recited Surat AlBaqara. Somebody left the prayer and Muadh criticized him. The news reached the Prophet ﷺ and he said to Muadh; You are putting the people to trial; and repeated it thrice or said something similar and ordered him to recite two medium Suras of Mufassal. Amr said that he had forgotten the names of those Suras.

    Narrated Amr: Jabir said: An Ansari man made his slave a Mudabbar and he had no other property than him. When the Prophet ﷺ heard of that; he said to his companions ; Who wants to buy him i.e.; the slave for me? Nuaim Bin AlNahham bought him for eight hundred Dirhams. I heard Jabir saying; That was a coptic slave who died in the same year.

  • Narrated Amr: My father saw Amr Bin AbiHas
    Narrated Amr: My father saw Amr Bin AbiHassan asking Abdullah Bin Zaid about the ablution of the Prophet. Abdullah Bin Zaid asked for earthenware pot containing water and in front of them performed ablution like that of the Prophet ﷺ. He poured water from the pot over his hand and washed his hands thrice and then he put his hands in the pot and rinsed his mouth and washed his nose by putting water in it and then blowing it out with three handfuls of water. Again he put his hand in the water and washed his face thrice and washed his forearms up to the elbows twice; and then put his hands in the water and then passed them over his head by bringing them to the front and then to the rear of the head once; and then he washed his feet up to the ankles.

  • Narrated Amr: We asked Ibn Umar: May a man
    Narrated Amr: We asked Ibn Umar: May a man have sexual relations with his wife during the Umra before performing Tawaf between Safa and Marwa? He said; Allah Messenger ﷺ arrived in Mecca and circumambulated the Kaba seven times; then offered two rakat behind Maqam Ibrahim the station of Abraham ; then performed Tawaf between Safa and Marwa. Ibn Umar added; Verily! In Allah Apostle you have a good example. And I asked Jabir Bin Abdullah the same question ; and he replied; You should not go near your wives have sexual relations till you have finished Tawaf between Safa and Marwa.
