    Narrated Anas: While the Prophet ﷺ was in the house of one of his wives; one of the mothers of the believers sent a meal in a dish. The wife at whose house the Prophet ﷺ was; struck the hand of the servant; causing the dish to fall and break. The Prophet ﷺ gathered the broken pieces of the dish and then started collecting on them the food which had been in the dish and said; Your mother my wife felt jealous. Then he detained the servant till a sound dish was brought from the wife at whose house he was. He gave the sound dish to the wife whose dish had been broken and kept the broken one at the house where it had been broken.

    Narrated Anas: Zaid Bin Thabit said; We took the Suhur the meal taken before dawn while fasting is observed with the Prophet ﷺ and then stood up for the morning prayer. I asked him how long the interval between the two Suhur and prayer was. He replied; The interval between the two was just sufficient to recite fifty to Sixth Ayat.

The same has been reported by both Abd AlJalil Bin Humaid and Sulaiman Bin Kathir from AlZuhri. The narrator Uqail reported the name Sinan.

    Narrated Arfah Ibn AlHarith AlKandi: I was present with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ at the Farewell Pilgrimage. When the sacrificial camels were brought to him; he said: Call AbulHasan Ali to me. Ali was then called for and he the Prophet said to him: Catch hold of the lower end of the lance; and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ himself caught hold of the upper end. He then pierced the camels with it. When he finished slaughtering; he rode on his mule and mounted Ali behind him.

  • Narrated Aslam Bin Imran AlTujibi: We were
    Narrated Aslam Bin Imran AlTujibi: We were in a Roman city; when a large column of Romans came out to us. So about the same number or more of the Muslims went towards them. The commander of the people of Egypt was Uqbah Bin Amir; and the commenter of the our group was Fadalah Bin Ubaid. One man among the Muslims reached the Roman line until he entered amidst them; so the people started screaming: Subhan Allah! He has thrown himself into destruction! Abu Ayoub AlAnsari said: O you people! You give this interpretation for this Ayah; while this Ayah was only revealed about us; the people among the Ansar; when Allah made Islam might; and increased its supporters. Some of us secretly said to each other; outside of the presence of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ : Our wealth has been ruined; and Allah has strengthened Islam; and increased its supporters; so if we tend to our wealth then what we lost of it shall be revitalized for us. So Allah; Blessed and Most High; revealed to His Prophet ﷺ ; rebuking what we said: And spend in the cause of Allah; and do not throw yourselves into destruction. 2:195 So the destruction was tending to the wealth and maintaining it. Abu Ayoub did not cease traveling in Allah cause; until he was buried in the land of the Romans.

  • Narrated Aslam: Allah Messenger ﷺ was trav
    Narrated Aslam: Allah Messenger ﷺ was traveling on one of his journeys; and Umar Bin AlKhattab was traveling along with him at night. Umar asked him about something; but Allah Messenger ﷺ did not answer him. He asked again; but he did not answer. He asked for the third time; but he did not answer. On that; Umar said to himself; May your mother lose you! You have asked Allah Messenger ﷺ three times; but he did not answer at all! Umar said; So I made my camel go fast till I was ahead of the people; and I was afraid that something might be revealed about me. After a little while I heard a call maker calling me; I said; I was afraid that some Quranic Verse might be revealed about me. So I went to Allah Apostle and greeted him. He said; Tonight there has been revealed to me a Surah which is dearer to me than that on which the sun shines i.e. the world. Then he recited: Verily! We have given you O Muhammad ; a manifest victory. Surat AlFath No. 48.1.

    Narrated Aslam: I heard Umar Bin AlKhattab saying; I gave a horse to be ridden in Allah Cause and the person who got it intended to sell it or neglected it. So; I wanted to buy it as I thought he would sell it cheap. I consulted the Prophet ﷺ who said; Do not buy it even if for one Dirham; because he who takes back his gift is like a dog swallowing its vomit.

  • Narrated Aslam: Ibn Umar asked me about some matters concerning Umar. He said; Since Allah Messenger ﷺ died. I have never seen anybody more serious; hard working and generous than Umar Bin AlKhattab till the end of his life.  +

    Narrated Aslam: Once I went with Umar Bin AlKhattab to the market. A young woman followed Umar and said; O chief of the believers! My husband has died; leaving little children. By Allah; they have not even a sheep trotter to cook; they have no farms or animals. I am afraid that they may die because of hunger; and I am the daughter of Khufaf Bin Ima AlGhafari; and my father witnessed the Pledge of allegiance of AlHudaibiya with the Prophet. Umar stopped and did not proceed; and said; I welcome my near relative. Then he went towards a strong camel which was tied in the house; and carried on to it; two sacks he had loaded with food grains and put between them money and clothes and gave her its rope to hold and said; Lead it; and this provision will not finish till Allah gives you a good supply. A man said; O chief of the believers! You have given her too much. Umar said disapprovingly. May your mother be bereaved of you! By Allah; I have seen her father and brother besieging a fort for a long time and conquering it; and then we were discussing what their shares they would have from that war booty.

  • Narrated Aslam: Umar Bin AlKhattab appoint
    Narrated Aslam: Umar Bin AlKhattab appointed a freed slave of his; called Hunai; manager of the Hima i.e. a pasture devoted for grazing the animals of the Zakat or other specified animals. He said to him; O Hunai! Dont oppress the Muslims and ward off their curse invocations against you for the invocation of the oppressed is responded to by Allah ; and allow the shepherd having a few camels and those having a few sheep to graze their animals ; and take care not to allow the livestock of Abdulrahman Bin Auf and the livestock of Uthman Bin Affan; for if their livestock should perish; then they have their farms and gardens; while those who own a few camels and those who own a few sheep; if their livestock should perish; would bring their dependents to me and appeal for help saying; O chief of the believers! O chief of the believers! Would I then neglect them? No; of course. So; I find it easier to let them have water and grass rather than to give them gold and silver from the Muslims treasury. By Allah; these people think that I have been unjust to them. This is their land; and during the prelslamic period; they fought for it and they embraced Islam willingly while it was in their possession. By Him in Whose Hand my life is! Were it not for the animals in my custody which I give to be ridden for striving in Allah Cause; I would not have turned even a span of their land into a Hima.

  • Narrated Aslam: Umar said; Were it not for those Muslims who have not come to existence yet; I would have distributed the land of every town I conquer among the fighters as the Prophet ﷺ distributed the land of Khaibar.  +

I asked Allah Messenger ﷺ three times but he did not reply. Umar then said; I made my camel run faster and went ahead of the people; and I was afraid that some Quranic Verses might be revealed about me. But before getting involved in any other matter. I heard somebody calling me. I said to myself; I fear that some Quranic Verses have been revealed about me; and so I went to Allah Messenger ﷺ and greeted him. He Allah Messenger ﷺ said; Tonight a Surat has been revealed to me; and it is dearer to me than that on which the sun rises i.e. the world Then he recited: Verily; We have given you a manifest victory. 48.1

    Narrated Aslam: While I was in the company of Abdullah Bin Umar on the way to Mecca; he received the news of the severe illness of Safiya bint Abi Ubaid i.e. his wife ; so he proceeded at greater speed; and when the twilight disappeared; he dismounted and offered the Maghrib and Isha prayers together and said; I saw the Prophet ﷺ delaying the Maghrib prayer to offer it along with the Isha when he was in a hurry on a journey.

    Narrated Asma Bin AlHakam AlFarazi: I heard Ali saying: Indeed I am a man who; when I hear a Hadith from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ ; then Allah causes me to benefit from it as much as He wills for me to benefit from it. When a man among his Companions narrates to me I ask him to swear an oath to me; about it; and when he swears an oath to me I trust him. And Abu Bakr narrated to me - and Abu Bakr told the truth - he said: I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying: There is no man who commits a sin; then stands for purification; then performs Prayer; then seeks forgiveness from Allah; except that Allah forgives him. Then he recites this Ayah: Those who; when they have committed Fahishah or wronged themselves with evil; remember Allah... 3:135 until the end of the Ayah.
