He met a Jewish religious scholar and asked him about their religion. He said; I intend to embrace your religion; so tell me some thing about it. The Jew said; You will not embrace our religion unless you receive your share of Allah Anger. Zaid said; I do not run except from Allah Anger; and I will never bear a bit of it if I have the power to avoid it. Can you tell me of some other religion? He said; I do not know any other religion except the Hanif. Zaid enquired; What is Hanif? He said; Hanif is the religion of the prophet Abraham who was neither a Jew nor a Christian; and he used to worship None but Allah Alone Then Zaid went out and met a Christian religious scholar and told him the same as before. The Christian said; You will not embrace our religion unless you get a share of Allah Curse. Zaid replied; I do not run except from Allah Curse; and I will never bear any of Allah Curse and His Anger if I have the power to avoid them. Will you tell me of some other religion? He replied; I do not know any other religion except Hanif. Zaid enquired; What is Hanif? He replied; Hanif is the religion of the prophet Abraham who was neither a Jew nor a Christian and he used to worship None but Allah Alone When Zaid heard their Statement about the religion of Abraham; he left that place; and when he came out; he raised both his hands and said; O Allah! Anas then mentioned that the people fled from the battle-field. On that Thabit said; Clear the way for me to fight the enemy. We would never do so i.e. flee in the company of Allah Messenger ﷺ. How bad the habits you have acquired from your enemies!abits you have acquired from your enemies! +

Umar: Allah Messenger ﷺ wore a gold ring or a silver ring and placed its stone towards the palm of his hand and had the name Muhammad; the Messenger of Allah engraved on it. The people also started wearing gold rings like it; but when the Prophet ﷺ saw them wearing such rings; he threw away his own ring and said. I will never wear it; and then wore a silver ring; whereupon the people too started wearing silver rings. So; whoever innovates in it an heresy or commits a sin or gives shelter in it; to such an innovator will incur the Curse of Allah; the angels and all the people; and none of his compulsory or optional good deeds of worship will be accepted. And whoever freed slave takes as his master i.e. befriends other than his real masters will incur the same Curse. And the asylum granted by any Muslim is to be secured by all the other Muslims; and whoever betrays a Muslim in this respect will incur the same Curse.in this respect will incur the same Curse. +

There was also written in it: The asylum pledge of protection granted by any Muslims is one and the same; even a Muslim of the lowest status is to be secured and respected by all the other Muslims; and whoever betrays a Muslim in this respect by violating the pledge will incur the curse of Allah; the angels; and all the people; and Allah will not accept his compulsory or optional good deeds. There was also written in it: Whoever freed slave befriends takes as masters other than his real masters manumitters without their permission will incur the curse of Allah; the angels; and all the people; and Allah will not accept his compulsory or optional good deeds. - Narrated Ibrahim Bin Saad from his father … Narrated Ibrahim Bin Saad from his father from his grandfather: Abdulrahman Bin Auf said; When we came to Medina as emigrants; Allah Messenger ﷺ established a bond of brotherhood between me and Saad Bin AlRabi. Saad Bin AlRabi said to me ; I am the richest among the Ansar; so I will give you half of my wealth and you may look at my two wives and whichever of the two you may choose I will divorce her; and when she has completed the prescribed period before marriage you may marry her. Abdulrahman replied; I am not in need of all that. Is there any marketplace where trade is practiced? He replied; The market of Qainuqa. Abdulrahman went to that market the following day and brought some dried buttermilk yogurt and butter; and then he continued going there regularly. Few days later; Abdulrahman came having traces of yellow scent on his body. Allah Messenger ﷺ asked him whether he had got married. He replied in the affirmative. The Prophet ﷺ said; Whom have you married? He replied; A woman from the Ansar. Then the Prophet ﷺ asked; How much did you pay her? He replied; I gave her a gold piece equal in weigh to a date stone or a date stone of gold ! The Prophet ﷺ said; Give a Walima wedding banquet even if with one sheep.ma wedding banquet even if with one sheep. +

Isnt there among you the one who used to carry the Siwak and the cushion or pillows of the Prophets ? i.e.; Ibn Masud. How did Ibn Masud use to recite By the night as it conceals the light ? Surat 92. Alqama said; Wadhdhakari Wal Untha And by male and female. Abu AlDarda added. These people continued to argue with me regarding it till they were about to cause me to have doubts although I heard it from Allah Messenger ﷺ.lthough I heard it from Allah Messenger ﷺ. +

Alqama replied in the affirmative Abu AlDarda said; Isnt there amongst you the person who carries the Siwak or the Secret i.e. of the Prophet ﷺ namely Abdullah Bin Massud ? Alqama said; Yes. Then Abu AlDarda asked; How Abdullah Bin Masud used to recite the Surat starting with: By the night as it envelopes; By the day as it appears in brightness? 92.1-2. Alqama said And by male and female. Abu AlDarda then said; These people of Sham tried hard to make me accept something other than what I had heard from the Prophet.er than what I had heard from the Prophet. +
