When he went away; the Prophet said: Those sinners; whoever among them dies without having repented; Allah SWT will gather him on the Day of Resurrection just as he was in this world; effeminate and naked; with not even a piece of cloth to conceal him from the people. Umar being one of them; there came a person with a cloak of wool on him daubed with perfume and he said: Messenger of Allah; what about the person who entered upon the state of Ihram with a cloak after daubing it with perfume? The Apostle of Allah ﷺ looked at him for a short while; and then became quiet; and revelation began descending upon him; and Umar gestured with his hand to Yala Bin Umaya to come. Yala came and he entered his head beneath the cloth and saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ with his face red; and breathing heavily. Then he felt relieved of that burden and he said: Where is the man who was just asking me about Umra? The man was searched for and he was brought; and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: So far as the perfume is concerned; wash it three times; and remove the cloak too as it was sewn and do in Umra as you do in Hajj.was sewn and do in Umra as you do in Hajj. +

And Yala used to say: That was the most weighty of my deeds; in my opinion. Safwan said that Yala had stated: I had a servant; he quarrelled with another person; and the one bit the hand of the other. Ata said that Safwan had told him which one had bitten the hand of the other. So he whose hand was bitten drew ill from the mouth of the one who had bitten it and in this scuffle one of his foreteeth was also drawn out. Muhayasah came and told the Abdullah Bin Sahl had been killed and thrown in a well or stream. He hen came to the Jews and said: I swear by Allah; you have killed him. They said: We swear by Allah; we have not killed him. He then proceeded and came to his tribe and mentioned this to them. Then he; his brother Huwayasah; who was older to him; and Abdulrahman Bin Sahl came forward to the Prophet. Muhayasah began to speak. It was he who was at Khaibar. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ then said to him: Let the eldest speak ; let the eldest speak ; meaning age. So Huwayasah spoke; and after him Muhayasah spoke. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ then said: They should either pay the bloodwit for you friend or they should be prepared for war. So the Messenger of Allah ﷺ wrote to them about it. They wrote in reply : We swear by Allah; we have not killed him. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ then said to Huwayasah; Muhayasah and Abdulrahman Will you take an oath and thus have the claim to the blood of your friend ? They said: No. He the Prophet said: The Jews will then take an oath. They said: They are not Muslims. Then the Messenger of Allah ﷺ himself paid the bloodwit. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ then sent on one hundred camels and they were entered in their house. Sahl said: A red camel of them gave me a kick.said: A red camel of them gave me a kick. +

Then Muhayisa found Abdullah Bin Sahl having been killed. He buried him; and then came to Allah Messenger ﷺ. They were Huwayisa Bin Masud and Abdulrahman Bin Sahl; and he the latter one was the youngest of the people those three who had come to seek an interview with the Holy Prophet began to talk before his Companions had spoken. Thereupon Allah Messenger ﷺ said: The eldest one eldest in regard to age should speak. So he kept quiet; and his companions Muhayisa and Huwayisa began to speak; and he Abdulrahman spoke along with them and they narrated to Allah Messenger ﷺ the murder of Abdullah Bin Sahl. Thereupon he said to them: Are you prepared to take fifty oaths so that you may be entitled to blood-wit of your companion or your man who has murdered ? They said: How can we take an oath on a matter which we have not witnessed? He the Holy Prophet said: Then the Jews will exonerate themselves by fifty oaths. They said: How can we accept the oaths of people who are unbelievers? When Allah Messenger ﷺ saw that; he himself paid his blood-wit.ﷺ saw that; he himself paid his blood-wit. +

He the Prophet said: is there anything with you which you con give as a dower ? He said: No; Messenger of Allah; by Allah I have nothing. Thereupon Allah Messenger ﷺ said: Go to your people family and see if you can find something. He returned and said: I have found nothing. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: See even if it is an iron ring. He went and returned and said: No; by Allah; not even an iron ring; but only this lower garment of mine Sahl said that he had no upper garment ; half of which I am prepared to part with for her. Thereupon Allah Messenger ﷺ said: How can your lower garment serve your purpose; for it you wear it; she would not be able to make any use of it and if she wears it there would not be anything on you? The man sat down and as the sitting prolonged he stood up in disappointment and as he was going back Allah Messenger ﷺ commanded him to be called back; and as he came; he said to him: Do you know any part of the Quran? He said: I know such and such surahs and he counted them ; whereupon he ﷺ said: Can you recite them from heart from your memory ? He said: Yes; whereupon he Allah Messenger said: Go; I have given her to you in marriage for the part of the Quran which you know.for the part of the Quran which you know. +

So Aasi m asked the Messenger of Allah about that; and the Messenger of Allah disapproved of the question; and criticized the asking of too many questions until Aasi m felt upset. When Aasi m went back to his people; Uwaimir came to him and said: O Aasi m; what did the Messenger of Allah say to you? Aasi m said: You have not brought me any good. The Messenger of Allah disapproved of the question you asked. Uwaimir said: By Allah; I will go and ask the Messenger of Allah. So he went to the Messenger of Allah and found him in the midst of the people. He said: O Messenger of Allah; what do you think if a man finds another man with his wife -should he kill him; and be killed in retaliation or what should he do? The Messenger of Allah said: Something has been revealed concerning you and your wife; so go and bring her here. Sahl said: So they engaged in the procedure of Lian; and I was among the people in the presence of the Messenger of Allah. When Uwaimir finished he said: I would have been telling lies about her; O Messenger of Allah; if I keep her. So he divorced her thrice before the Messenger of Allah told him to do so.the Messenger of Allah told him to do so. +

He said: I have nothing except this Izar. So the Messenger of Allah said: If you give her your Izar then you will have no Izar; so search for something. He said: I did not find anything. He said: Search for something; even if it just an iron ring. He said: So he searched but he did not find anything. The Messenger of Allah said: Do you have any Quran memorized ? He said: Yes. This Surat and that Surat. And he named the Surat. So the Messenger of Allah said: I marry her to you for what you have memorized of the Quran.for what you have memorized of the Quran. +

When Aasi m came back to his family; Uwaimir came to him and said: Aasi m; what did Allah Messenger ﷺ say to you? Aasi m said to Uwaimir: You did not bring something good. Allah Messenger ﷺ did not like this religious verdict that I sought from him. Uwaimir said: By Allah; I will not rest until I have asked him about it. Uwaimir proceeded until he came to Allah Messenger ﷺ as he was sitting amidst people; and said: Messenger of Allah; tell me about a person who found a man with his wife. Should he kill him; and then you would kill him; or how should he act? Thereupon Allah Messenger ﷺ said: Verses have been revealed concerning you and your wife; so go and bring her. Sahl said that they both invoked curses and further said : I was along with people in the company of Allah Messenger ﷺ. And when they had finished; Uwaimir said: Allah Messenger; I shall have told a lie against her if I keep her now. So he divorced her with three pronouncements before Allah Messenger ﷺ had commanded him. He the narrator said: He Abu Bakr started leading the prayer. The people were engaged in observing prayer when the Messenger of Allah ﷺ happened to come there and made his way through the people till he stood in a row. The people began to clap their hands ; but Abu Bakr paid no heed to it in prayer. When the people clapped more vigorously; he Abu Bakr then paid heed and saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ there. He was about to withdraw when the Messenger of Allah ﷺ signed to him to keep standing at his place. Abu Bakr lifted his hands and praised Allah for what the Messenger of Allah ﷺ had commanded him and then Abu Bakr withdrew himself till he stood in the midst of the row and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ stepped forward and led the prayer. When the prayer was over; he the Holy Prophet said: 0 Abu Bakr; what prevented you from standing at that place as I ordered you to do? Abu Bakr said: It does not become the son of Abu Quhafa to lead prayer before the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to the people around him: What is it that I saw you clapping so vigorously? Behold when anything happens in prayer; say: Subha Allah; for when you would utter it; it would attract the attention; while clapping of hands is meant for women.hile clapping of hands is meant for women. +

The Apostle of Allaah ﷺ disliked the question that I asked him. Thereupon Uwaimir said I swear by Allaah; I shall not leave until I ask him about it. So; Uwaimir came to the Apostle of Allaah ﷺ while he was sitting in the midst of the people. He said Apostle of Allaah ﷺ tell me about a man who finds a man along with his wife. Should he kill him and then be killed by you; or how should he act? The Apostle of Allaah ﷺ said A revelation has been sent down about you and your wife so go away and bring her. Sahl said So we cursed one another while I was along with the people who were with the Apostle of Allaah ﷺ. Then when they finished; Umamir said I shall have lied against her; Apostle of Allaah ﷺ if I keep her. He pronounced her divorce three times before the Apostle of Allaah ﷺ commanded him to do so Ibn Shihab said Then this became the method of invoking curses.this became the method of invoking curses. +

The Prophet SAWSYMOBOL went to reconcile between them. The time for prayer came; so Bilal called Adhan and waited for the Messenger of Allah SAWSYMOBOL; but he was delayed. He said the Iqamah and Abu Bakr; may Allah be pleased with him; went forward to lead the prayer. Then the Prophet SAWSYMOBOL came while Abu Bakr was leading the people in prayer; and when the people saw him they clapped. Abu Bakr would not turn around when he was praying; but when he heard them clapping; he turned around and saw the Messenger of Allah SAWSYMOBOL. He wanted to step back but the Prophet SAWSYMOBOL gestured to him to stay where he was. Abu Bakr; may Allah be pleased with him; raised his hands; then he moved backward and the Messenger of Allah SAWSYMOBOL came forward and led the rest of the prayer. When the Messenger of Allah SAWSYMOBOL finished praying; he said: What prevented you from staying where you were? He said: I would not like Allah to see the son of Abu Quhafah standing in front of His Prophet. Then he the Prophet SAWSYMOBOL turned to the people and said: If you noticed something while you were praying; why did you clap? That is for women. Whoever notices something while he is praying; let him say: Subhan Allah.he is praying; let him say: Subhan Allah. +
