Then he said; Write: Not equal are those Believers who sit..; and at that time Amr Bin Um Maktum; the blind man was sitting behind the Prophet ﷺ. He said; O Allah Apostle! What is your order For me as regards the above Verse as I am a blind man? While sleeping near the Kaba last night; I saw in my dream a man of brown color the best one can see amongst brown color and his hair was long that it fell between his shoulders. His hair was lank and water was dribbling from his head and he was placing his hands on the shoulders of two men while circumambulating the Kaba. I asked; Who is this? They replied; This is Jesus; son of Mary. Behind him I saw a man who had very curly hair and was blind in the right eye; resembling Ibn Qatan i.e. an infidel in appearance. He was placing his hands on the shoulders of a person while performing Tawaf around the Kaba. I asked; Who is this? They replied; The Masih; AlDajjal. | The Chapter on Grooming The Man in HodHood Indexing, Chapter on The Statement of Allah Taala And mention in the Book the story of Maryam in Sahih AlBukhari
SahihAlBukhari-017-001-4253 | Narrated Abu Huraira: that he heard Allah Messenger ﷺ saying; Allah willed to test three Israelis who were a Leper; a blind man and a bald-headed man. So; he sent them an angel who came to the leper and said; What thing do you like most? He replied; Good color and good skin; for the people have a strong aversion to me. The angel touched him and his illness was cured; and he was given a good color and beautiful skin. The angel asked him; What kind of property do you like best? He replied; Camels or cows. The narrator is in doubt; for either the leper or the bald-headed man demanded camels and the other demanded cows. So he i.e. the leper was given a pregnant camel; and the angel said to him ; May Allah bless you in it. The angel then went to the bald-headed man and said; What thing do you like most? He said; I like good hair and wish to be cured of this disease; for the people feel repulsion for me. The angel touched him and his illness was cured; and he was given good hair. The angel asked him ; What kind of property do you like best? He replied; Cows; The angel gave him a pregnant cow and said; May Allah bless you in it. The angel went to the blind man and asked; What thing do you like best? He said; I like that Allah may restore my eye-sight to me so that I may see the people. The angel touched his eyes and Allah gave him back his eye-sight. The angel asked him; What kind of property do you like best? He replied; Sheep. The angel gave him a pregnant sheep. Afterwards; all the three pregnant animals gave birth to young ones; and multiplied and brought forth so much that one of the three men had a herd of camels filling a valley; and one had a herd of cows filling a valley; and one had a flock of sheep filling a valley. Then the angel; disguised in the shape and appearance of a leper; went to the leper and said; I am a poor man; who has lost all means of livelihood while on a journey. So none will satisfy my need except Allah and then you. In the Name of Him Who has given you such nice color and beautiful skin; and so much property; I ask you to give me a camel so that I may reach my destination. The man replied; I have many obligations so I cannot give you. The angel said; I think I know you; were you not a leper to whom the people had a strong aversion? Werent you a poor man; and then Allah gave you all this property. He replied; This is all wrong ; I got this property through inheritance from my fore-fathers. The angel said; If you are telling a lie; then let Allah make you as you were before. Then the angel; disguised in the shape and appearance of a bald man; went to the bald man and said to him the same as he told the first one; and he too answered the same as the first one did. The angel said; If you are telling a lie; then let Allah make you as you were before. The angel; disguised in the shape of a blind man; went to the blind man and said; I am a poor man and a traveler; whose means of livelihood have been exhausted while on a journey. I have nobody to help me except Allah; and after Him; you yourself. I ask you in the Name of Him Who has given you back your eye-sight to give me a sheep; so that with its help; I may complete my journey. The man said; No doubt; I was blind and Allah gave me back my eye-sight; I was poor and Allah made me rich; so take anything you wish from my property. By Allah; I will not stop you for taking anything you need of my property which you may take for Allah sake. The angel replied; Keep your property with you. I forbade her; but she did not stop; and I rebuked her; but she did not pay heed. Finally; I mentioned your name and she slandered you; so I went and got a dagger which I thrust into her stomach; and leaned on it until I killed her. SunanAbuDawoud-017-001-25974 | Ibn Umar reported: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ stood among the people and praised Allah in a way which is worthy of him; and mentioned the Antichrist Dajjal ; saying : I warn you of him; and there has been no prophet who has not warned his people about him; and Noah also warned his people about him. But I tell you about him a word which no Prophet had told his people : you should know that he will be blind in one eye; and Allah is not blind is one eye. | The Chapter on Grooming Cutting The Hair Asking For Mercy During Alhajj in HodHood Indexing, Chapter on The Antichrist Dajjal in Sunan Abu Dawoud
SunanAbuDawoud-017-001-27321 | Narrated Umm Salamah; Ummul Muminin: I was with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ while Maymunah was with him. Then Ibn Umm Maktum came. This happened when we were ordered to observe veil purdah. The Prophet ﷺ said: Observe veil from him. We asked: Messenger of Allah! is he not blind? He can neither see us nor recognise us. The Prophet ﷺ said: Are both of you blind? Do you not see him? Abu Dawud said: This was peculiar to the wives of the Prophet ﷺ. Do you not see that Fatimah daughter of Qays passed her waiting period with Ibn Umm Maktum. The Prophet ﷺ said to Fatimah daughter of Qays: Pass your waiting period with Ibn Umm Maktum; for he is a blind man. You can put off your clothes with him. | The Chapter on Special Days Of Muharram in HodHood Indexing, Chapter on Regarding The Statement Of Allah And Tell The Believing Women To Lower Their Gaze in Sunan Abu Dawoud |

MuwataMalik-017-001-35593 | Yahya related to me from Malik from Zayd Ibn Aslam from his father that he said to Umar Ibn AlKhattab; There is a blind camel behind the house; soUmar said; Hand it over to a household so that they can make some use of it. He said; But she is blind. Umar replied; Then put it in a line with other camels. He said; How will it be able to eat from the ground? Umar asked; Is it from the livestock of the jizya or the zakat? and Aslam replied; From the livestock of the jizya. Umar said; By AIIah; you wish to eat it. Aslam said; It has the brand of the jizya on it. So Umar ordered it to be slaughtered. He had nine platters; and on each of the platters he put some of every fruit and delicacy that there was and then sent them to the wives of the Prophet; may Allah bless him and grant him peace; and the one he sent to his daughter Hafsa was the last of them all; and if there was any deficiency in any of them it was in Hafsa portion. He put meat from the slaughtered animal on the platters and sent them to the wives of the Prophet; may Allah bless him and grant him peace; and he ordered what was left of the meat of the slaughtered animal to be prepared. Then he invited the Muhajirun and the Ansar to eat it. Malik said; I do not think that livestock should be taken from people who pay the jizya except as jizya. | The Chapter on Live Stock And Sheep Grazing in HodHood Indexing, The Book of Hajj in Muwata Malik |
