SahihAlBukhari-017-001-1312Narrated AlQasim Bin Muhammad: Aisha said; O my head! Allah Messenger ﷺ said; If that i.e.; your death should happen while I am still alive; I would ask Allah to forgive you and would invoke Allah for you. Aisha said; O my life which is going to be lost! By Allah; I think that you wish for my death; and if that should happen then you would be busy enjoying the company of one of your wives in the last part of that day. The Prophet said; But I should say; O my head! I feel like calling Abu Bakr and his son and appoint the former as my successors lest people should say something or wish for something. Allah will insist on Abu Bakr becoming a Caliph and the believers will prevent anyone else from claiming the Caliphate ; or..Allah will prevent anyone else from claiming the Caliphate and the believers will insist on Abu Bakr becoming the Caliph. The Chapter on Life And Death And Caliph in HodHood Indexing, Chapter on The appointment of a caliph in Sahih AlBukhari

The man tried his best to prevent them; from falling in the fire but they overpowered him and rushed into the fire. SahihAlBukhari-017-001-2198Narrated Hudhaifa: Allah Messenger ﷺ narrated to us two narrations; one of which I have seen happening and I am waiting for the other. He narrated that honesty was preserved in the roots of the hearts of men in the beginning and then they learnt it honesty from the Quran; and then they learnt it from the Prophets Sunna tradition. He also told us about its disappearance; saying; A man will go to sleep whereupon honesty will be taken away from his heart; and only its trace will remain; resembling the traces of fire. He then will sleep whereupon the remainder of the honesty will also be taken away from his heart and its trace will resemble a blister which is raised over the surface of skin; when an ember touches one foot; and in fact; this blister does not contain anything. So there will come a day when people will deal in business with each other but there will hardly be any trustworthy persons among them. Then it will be said that in such-and-such a tribe there is such-and-such person who is honest; and a man will be admired for his intelligence; good manners and strength; though indeed he will not have belief equal to a mustard seed in his heart. The narrator added: There came upon me a time when I did not mind dealing with anyone of you; for if he was a Muslim; his religion would prevent him from cheating; and if he was a Christian; his Muslim ruler would prevent him from cheating; but today I cannot deal except with so-and-so and so-and-so. I thought of the date-palm tree; but I disliked to speak because Abu Bakr and Umar were present there. When nobody spoke; the Prophet ﷺ said; It is the date-palm tree When I came out with my father; I said; O father! It came to my mind that it was the date-palm tree. He said; What prevented you from saying it? Had you said it; it would have been more dearer to me than such-and-such a thing fortune. Now you come to ask for her hand again? No; by Allah; she will never go back to you again ! That man was not a bad man and his wife wanted to go back to him. SahihAlBukhari-017-001-4874Narrated AlBara: When the Prophet ﷺ intended to perform Umra in the month of Dh AlQada; the people of Mecca did not let him enter Mecca till he settled the matter with them by promising to stay in it for three days only. When the document of treaty was written; the following was mentioned: These are the terms on which Muhammad; Allah Messenger ﷺ agreed to make peace. They said; We will not agree to this; for if we believed that you are Allah Messenger ﷺ we would not prevent you; but you are Muhammad Bin Abdullah. The Prophet ﷺ said; I am Allah Messenger ﷺ and also Muhammad Bin Abdullah. Then he said to Ali; Rub off the words Allah Messenger ﷺ ; but Ali said; No; by Allah; I will never rub off your name. So; Allah Messenger ﷺ took the document and wrote; This is what Muhammad Bin Abdullah has agreed upon: No arms will be brought into Mecca except in their cases; and nobody from the people of Mecca will be allowed to go with him i.e. the Prophet ﷺ even if he wished to follow him and he the Prophet ﷺ will not prevent any of his companions from staying in Mecca if the latter wants to stay. When the Prophet ﷺ entered Mecca and the time limit passed; the Meccans went to Ali and said; Tell your Friend i.e. the Prophet ﷺ to go out; as the period agreed to has passed. So; the Prophet ﷺ went out of Mecca. The daughter of Hamza ran after them i.e. the Prophet ﷺ and his companions ; calling; O Uncle! O Uncle! Ali received her and led her by the hand and said to Fatima; Take your uncle daughter. Zaid and Jafar quarreled about her. Ali said; I have more right to her as she is my uncle daughter. Jafar said; She is my uncle daughter; and her aunt is my wife. Zaid said; She is my brother daughter. The Prophet ﷺ judged that she should be given to her aunt; and said that the aunt was like the mother. We are afraid that you may be prevented from reaching the Kaba. Ibn Umar said We set out with Allah Messenger ﷺ and the non-believers of Quraish prevented us from reaching the Kaba; and so the Prophet ﷺ slaughtered his Hadi and got his head shaved. Ibn Umar added; I make you witnesses that I have made Umra obligatory for me. And; Allah willing; I will go and then if the way to Kaba is clear; I will perform the Tawaf; but if I am prevented from going to the Kaba then I will do the same as the Prophet ﷺ did while I was in his company. Ibn Umar then assumed Ihram for Umra from Dhu AlHulaifa and proceeded for a while and said; The conditions of Umra and Hajj are similar and I make you witnesses that I have made Umra and Hajj obligatory for myself. So; he did not finish the Ihram till the Day Of AlNahr slaughtering came; and he slaughtered his Hadi. SunanAbuDawoud-017-001-26048Narrated Abdullah Ibn Masud: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: The first defect that permeated Banu Israil was that a man of them met another man and said: O so-and-so; fear Allah; and abandon what you are doing; for it is not lawful for you. He then met him the next day and that did not prevent him from eating with him; drinking with him and sitting with him. When they did so. Allah mingled their hearts with each other. He then recited the verse: curses were pronounced on those among the children of Israil who rejected Faith; by the tongue of David and of Jesus the son of Mary...up to wrongdoers. He then said: By no means; I swear by Allah; you must enjoin what is good and prohibit what is evil; prevent the wrongdoer; bend him into conformity with what is right; and restrict him to what is right. The Chapter on Special Days And Alquran in HodHood Indexing, Chapter on Command And Prohibition in Sunan Abu Dawoud

He sent them to a certain territory on some mission saying: You are sturdy and vigorous people; hence display your power for religion. He then stood and entered the toilet. He then came out and called for water and took a handful of it. Then he wiped his hands with it and began to recite the Quran. They were surprised at this action. SunanAbuDawoud-017-001-28029Narrated Ali Ibn Abu Talib: Ali said on the pulpit in the Masjid of Kufah: When Friday comes; the devils go to the markets with their flags; and involve people in their needs and prevent them from the Friday prayer. The angels come early in the morning; sit at the door of the Masjid; and record that so-and-so came at the first hour; and so-and-so came at the second hour until the imam comes out for preaching. When a man sits in a place where he can listen to the sermon and look at the imam ; where he remains silent and does not interrupt; he will receive a double reward. If he stays away; sits in a place where he cannot listen to the sermon ; silent; and does not interrupt; he will receive the reward only once. If he sits in a place where he can listen to the sermon and look at the imam ; and he does not remain silent; he will have the burden of it. If anyone says to his companion sitting besides him to be silent while the imam is preaching ; he is guilty of idle talk. Anyone who interrupts during the sermon will receive nothing no reward on that Friday. MuwataMalik-017-001-34941Malik related to me from Amr Ibn Yahya AlMazini from his father that AlDahhak Ibn Khalifa watered his irrigation ditch from a large source of water. He wanted to have it pass through the land of Muhammad Ibn Maslama; and Muhammad refused. AlDahhak said to him; Why do you prevent me? It will benefit you. You can drink from it first and last and it will not harm you. Muhammed refused so AlDahhak spoke about it to Umar Ibn AlKhattab; and Umar Ibn AlKhattab summoned Muhammad Ibn Maslama and ordered him to clear the way. Muhammad said; No. Umar said; Why do you prevent your brother from what will benefit him and is also useful for you? You will take water from it first and last and it will not harm you. Muhammad said; No; by Allah! Umar said; By Allah; he will pass it through; even if it is over your belly! It is fitting that tawaf of the House be the last of his contract; as long as nothing prevents him; and if something prevents him; or an obstacle arises; then Allah has completed his hajj. Malik said; I do not think that a man who does not know that the last of his contract is tawaf of the House until he has left owes anything; unless he is nearby and can return; do tawaf; and then leave having done the tawaf Alifada. The Chapter on Contracts And Disputes Management in HodHood Indexing, The Book of Business Transactions in Muwata Malik
