I have created My servants as one having a natural inclination to the worship of Allah but it is Satan who turns them away from the right religion and he makes unlawful what has been declared lawful for them and he commands them to ascribe partnership with Re; although he has no justification for that. And verily; Allah looked towards the people of the world and He showed hatred for the Arabs and the non-Arabs; but with the exception of some remnants from the People of the Book. And He further said: I have sent thee the Holy Prophet in order to put you to test and put those to test through you. And I sent the Book to you which cannot be washed away by water; so that you may recite it while in the state of wakefulness or sleep. Verily; Allah commanded me to burn kill the Quraish. I said: My Lord; they would break my head like the tearing of bread; and Allah said: You turn them out as they turned you out; you fight against them and We shall help you in this; you should spend and you would be conferred upon. You send an army and I would send an army five times greater than that. Fight against those who disobey you along with those who obey you. The inmates of Paradise are three: One who wields authority and is just and fair; one who Is truthful and has been endowed with power to do good deeds. And the person who is merciful and kind hearted towards his relatives and to every pious Muslim; and one who does not stretch his hand in spite of having a large family to support. And He said: The inmates of Hell are five: the weak who lack power to avoid evil ; the carefree who pursue everything irrespective of the fact that it is good or evil and who do not have any care for their family or for their wealth. And those dishonest whose greed cannot be concealed even in the case of minor things. And the third. who betray you. morning and evening; in regard to your family and your property. He also made a mention of the miser and the liar and those who are in the habit of abusing people and using obscene and foul language. Abu Ghassan in his narration did not make mention of Spend and there would be spent for you. | The Chapter on Contracts And Disputes In Land in HodHood Indexing, Chapter on 16 in Sahih Muslim
SahihMuslim-017-001-19185 | Abu Nadra reported: We were in the company of Jabir Bin Abdullah that he said it may happen that the people of Iraq may not send their qafiz and dirhams their measures of food stuff and their money. We said: Who would be responsible for it? He said: The non-Arabs would prevent them. He again said: There is the possibility that the people of Syria may not send their dinars and mudds. We said: Who would be responsible for it? He said this prevention would be made by the Romans. He Jabir Bin Abdullah kept quiet for a while and then reported Allah Messenger ﷺ having said there would be a caliph in the last period of my Ummah who would freely give handfuls of wealth to the people without counting it. I said to Abu Nadra and Abu AlAla: Do you mean Umar Bin Abd AlAziz? They said: No he would be Imam Mahdi. | The Chapter on Arab Tribes And Guardianship in HodHood Indexing, Chapter on 18 in Sahih Muslim
SahihMuslim-017-001-19240 | AlNawas Bin Saman reported that Allah Messenger ﷺ made a mention of the Dajjal one day in the morning. He ﷺ sometimes described him to be insignificant and sometimes described his turmoil as very significant and we felt as if he were in the cluster of the date-palm trees. When we went to him to the Holy Prophet in the evening and he read the signs of fear in our faces; he ﷺ said: What is the matter with you? We said: Allah Messenger; you made a mention of the Dajjal in the morning sometimes describing him to be insignificant and sometimes very important; until we began to think as if he were present in some near part of the cluster of the date-palm trees. Thereupon he ﷺ said: I harbor fear in regard to you in so many other things besides the Dajjal. If he comes forth while I am among you; I shall contend with him on your behalf; but if he comes forth while I am not amongst you; a man must contend on his own behalf and Allah would take care of every Muslim on my behalf and safeguard him against his evil. He Dajjal would be a young man with twisted; contracted hair; and a blind eye. I compare him to Abd AlUzza Bin Qatan. He who amongst you would survive to see him should recite over him the opening verses of Surat Kahf xviii. He would appear on the way between Syria and Iraq and would spread mischief right and left. O servant of Allah! adhere to the path of Truth. We said: Allah Messenger; how long would he stay on the earth? He ﷺ said: For forty days; one day like a year and one day like a month and one day like a week and the rest of the days would be like your days. We said: Allah Messenger; would one day prayer suffice for the prayers of day equal to one year? Thereupon he ﷺ said: No; but you must make an estimate of time and then observe prayer. We said: Allah Messenger; how quickly would he walk upon the earth? Thereupon he ﷺ said: Like cloud driven by the wind. He would come to the people and invite them to a wrong religion and they would affirm their faith in him and respond to him. He would then give command to the sky and there would be rainfall upon the earth and it would grow crops. Then in the evening; their pasturing animals would come to them with their humps very high and their udders full of milk and their flanks stretched. He would then come to another people and invite them. But they would reject him and he would go away from them and there would be drought for them and nothing would be left with them in the form of wealth. He would then walk through the waste land and say to it: Bring forth your treasures; and the treasures would come out and collect themselves before him like the swarm of bees. He would then call a person brimming with youth and strike him with the sword and cut him into two pieces and make these pieces lie at a distance which is generally between the archer and his target. He would then call that young man and he will come forward laughing with his face gleaming with happiness and it would be at this very time that Allah would send Christ; son of Mary; and he will descend at the white minaret in the eastern side of Damascus wearing two garments lightly dyed with saffron and placing his hands on the wings of two Angels. When he would lower his head; there would fall beads of perspiration from his head; and when he would raise it up; beads like pearls would scatter from it. Every non-believer who would smell the odor of his self would die and his breath would reach as far as he would be able to see. He would then search for him Dajjal until he would catch hold of him at the gate of Ludd and would kill him. Then a people whom Allah had protected would come to Jesus; son of Mary; and he would wipe their faces and would inform them of their ranks in Paradise and it would be under such conditions that Allah would reveal to Jesus these words: I have brought forth from amongst My servants such people against whom none would be able to fight; you take these people safely to Tur. And then Allah would send Gog and Magog and they would swarm down from every slope. The first of them would pass the lake of Tiberias and drink out of it. And when the last of them would pass; he would say: There was once water there. Jesus and his companions would then be besieged here at Tur; and they would be so much hard pressed that the head of the ox would be dearer to them than one hundred dinars and Allah Apostle; Jesus; and his companions would supplicate Allah; Who would send to them insects which would attack their necks and in the morning they would perish like one single person. Allah Apostle; Jesus; and his companions would then come down to the earth and they would not find in the earth as much space as a single span which is not filled with their putrefaction and stench. Allah Apostle; Jesus; and his companions would then again beseech Allah; Who would send birds whose necks would be like those of Bactrian camels and they would carry them and throw them where God would will. Then Allah would send rain which no house of clay or the tent of camels hairs would keep out and it would wash away the earth until it could appear to be a mirror. Then the earth would be told to bring forth its fruit and restore its blessing and; as a result thereof; there would grow such a big pomegranate that a group of persons would be able to eat that; and seek shelter under its skin and milch cow would give so much milk that a whole party would be able to drink it. And the milch camel would give such a large quantity of milk that the whole tribe would be able to drink out of that and the milch sheep would give so much milk that the whole family would be able to drink out of that and at that time Allah would send a pleasant wind which would soothe people even under their armpits; and would take the life of every Muslim and only the wicked would survive who would commit adultery like asses and the Last Hour would come to them. | The Chapter on Rain And Clouds Earth And Aldajjal in HodHood Indexing, Chapter on 20 in Sahih Muslim
SahihMuslim-017-001-19248 | Abdullah Bin Amr reported that a person came to him and said: What is this hadith that you narrate that the Last Hour would come at such and such time? Thereupon he said: Hallowed be Allah; there is no god but Allah or the words to the same effect. I have decided that I would not narrate anything to anyone now. I had only said that you would see after some time an important event that the sacred House Kaba would be burnt and it would happen and definitely happen. He then reported that Allah Messenger ﷺ said: The Dajjal would appear in my Ummah and he would stay in the world for forty - I cannot say whether he meant forty days; forty months or forty years. And Allah would then send Jesus son of Mary who would resemble Urwa b Masud. He Jesus Christ would chase him and kill him. Then people would live for seven years that there would be no rancour between two persons. Then Allah would send cold wind from the side of Syria that none would survive upon the earth having a speck of good in him or faith in him but he would die; so much so that even if some amongst you were to enter the innermost part of the mountain; this wind would reach that place also and that would cause his death. I heard Allah Messenger ﷺ as saying: Only the wicked people would survive and they would be as careless as birds with the characteristics of beasts. They would never appreciate the good nor condemn evil. Then Satan would come to them in human form and would say: Dont you respond? And they would say: What do you order us? And he would command them to worship the idols but; in spite of this; they would have abundance of sustenance and lead comfortable lives. Then the trumpet would be blown and no one would hear that but he would bend his neck to one side and raise it from the other side and the first one to hear that trumpet would be the person who would be busy in setting right the tank meant for providing water to the camels. He would swoon and the other people would also swoon; then Allah would send or He would cause to send rain which would be like dew and there would grow out of it the bodies of the people. Then the second trumpet would be blown and they would stand up and begin to look around. Then it would be said: O people; go to your Lord; and make them stand there. And they would be questioned. Then it would be said: Bring out a group out of them for the Hell-Fire. And then it would be asked: How much? It would be said: Nine hundred and ninty-nine out of one thousand for the Hell-Fire and that would be the day which would make the children old because of its terror and that would be the day about which it has been said: On the day when the shank would be uncovered lxviii. 42. | The Chapter on Charity To Save Oneself From Hell Fire in HodHood Indexing, Chapter on 23 in Sahih Muslim
SahihMuslim-017-001-20663 | Hudhaifa reported that the people of Najran came to Allah Messenger ﷺ and said: Allah Messenger; send along with us a man of trust; whereupon he said: I would definitely send to you a man of trust; a man of trust in the true sense of the term. Thereupon his Companions looked up eagerly and he sent Abu Ubaida Bin Jarrah. | The Chapter on Recitation Of Ayat in HodHood Indexing, Chapter on 7 in Sahih Muslim
SahihMuslim-017-001-21894 | Abu Mousa reported: The sun eclipsed during the time of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. He stood in great anxiety fearing that it might be the Doomsday; till he came to the Masjid. He stood up to pray with prolonged qiyam; ruku; and prostration which I never saw him doing in prayer; and then he said: These are the signs which Allah sends; not on account of the death of anyone or life of any one; but Allah sends them to frighten thereby His servants. So when you see any such thing; hasten to remember Him; supplicate Him and beg pardon from Him; and in the narration transmitted by Ibn Ala the words are: The sun eclipsed. He frightens His servants. | The Chapter on Prostration And Eclipse Of The Sun in HodHood Indexing, Chapter on 5 in Sahih Muslim
SahihMuslim-017-001-22424 | Anas Bin Malik reported that a person entered the Masjid through the door situated on theside of Daral-Qada during Friday prayer and the messenger of Allah ﷺ was delivering the sermon while standing. He came and stood in front of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and said: Messenger of Allah; the camels died and the passages were blocked; so supplicate Allah to send down rain upon us. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ raised his hands and then said: O Allah; send down rain upon us; O Allah; send dowp rain upon us; O Allah; send down rain upon us. Anas said: By Allah; we did not see any cloud or any patch of it; and there was neither any house or building standing between us and the hillock Sala. There appeared a cloud in the shape of a shield from behind it; and as it came high in the sky it spread and then there was a downpour of rain. By Allah; we did not see the sun throughout the week. Then that very man came on the coming Friday through the same door when the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was standing and delivering the sermon. He stood in front of him and said: Messenger of Allah; our animals died and the passages blocked. Supplicate Allah to stop the rain for us. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ again raised his hands and said: O Allah; let it rain fall in our suburbs and not on us; O Allah send it down on the hillocks and small mountains and the river-beds and at places where trees grow. The rain stopped; and as we stepped out we were walking in sun- shine. He the narrator said to Sharik: I asked Anas Bin Malik if he was the same man. He said: I do not know. | The Chapter on Rain And Clouds And Friday Khutba in HodHood Indexing, Chapter on 2 in Sahih Muslim |

SunanAlTermithi-017-001-10339 | It was narrated from AlNawas Bin Saman; who said: The Messenger of Allah s.a.w mentioned the Dajjal one morning; he belittled him and mentioned his importance until we thought that he might be amidst a cluster of date-palms. He said: We departed from the presence of the Messenger of Allah s.a.w ; then we returned to him; and he noticed that concern in us. So he said: What is wrong with you? We said: O Messenger of Allah! You mentioned the Dajjal this morning; belittling him; and mentioning his importance until we thought that he might be amidst a cluster of the date-palms. He said: It is not the Dajjal that I fear for you. If he were to appear while I am among you; then I will be his adversary on your behalf. And if he appears and I am not among you; then each man will have to fend for himself. And Allah will take care of every Muslim after me. He is young; with curly hair; his eyes protruding; resembling someone from Abd AlUzza Bin Qatan. Whoever among you sees him; then let him recite the beginning of Surah Ashab AlKahf. He said: He will appear from what is between AlSham and AlIraq; causing devastation toward the right and toward the left. O worshippers of Allah! Hold fast! We said: O Messenger of Allah! How long will he linger on the earth? He said: Forty days; a day like a year; a day like a month; a day like a week; and the remainder of his days are like your days. We said: O Messenger of Allah! Do you think that during the day that is like a year; the Prayer of one day will be sufficient for us? He said: No. You will have to estimate it. We said: O Messenger of Allah! How fast will he move through the earth. He said: Like a rain storm driven by the wind. He will come upon a people and call them; and they will deny him; and reject his claims. Then he will leave them; and their wealth will follow him. They will awaken in the morning with nothing left. Then he will come upon a people and call them; and they will respond to him; believing in him. So he will order the Heavens to bring rain; and it shall rain; and he will order the land to sprout; and it will sprout. Their cattle will return to them with their coats the longest; their udders the fullest and their stomachs the fattest. He said: Then he will come upon some ruins; saying to it: Bring me your treasures! He will turn to leave it; and it will follow him; like drone bees. Then he will call a young man; full of youth; and he will strike him with the sword cutting him into two pieces. Then he will call him; and he will come forward with his face beaming and laughing. So while he is doing that; Eisa Bin Mariam; ﷺ ; will descend in eastern Damascus at the white minaret; between two Mahrud; with his hands on the wings of two angels. When he lowers his head; drops fall; and when raises it; gems like pearls drop from him. He said: His the Dajjals breath does not reach anyone but he dies; and his breath reaches as far as his sight. He said: So he pursues him the Dajjal and he catches up with him at the gate of Ludd where he kills him. He said: So he remains there as long as Allah wills. He said: Then Allah reveals to him: Take my slaves to AlTur; for I have sent down some creatures of Mine which no one shall be able to kill. He said: Allah dispatches Yajuj and Majuj; and they are as Allah said: They swoop down from every mount. He said: The first of them pass by the lake of Tiberias; drinking what is in it. Then the last of them pass by it saying: There was water here at one time. They travel until they reach a mountain at Bait AlMaqdis. They will say: We have killed whoever was in the earth. Come! Let us kill whoever is in the skies. They will shoot their arrows into the Heavens; so Allah will return their arrows to them red with blood. Eisa Bin Mariam and his Companions be surrounded; until the head of a bull on that day would be better to them than a hundred Dinar to one of you today. He s.a.w said: Eisa will beseech Allah; as will his companions. He said: So Allah will send AlNaghaf down upon their necks. In the morning they will find that they have all died like the death of a single soul. He said: Eisa and his companions will come down; and no spot nor hand-span can be found; except that it is filled with their stench; decay and blood. So Eisa will beseech Allah; as will his companions. So Allah will send upon them birds like the necks of Bukht milch camels. They will carry them off and cast them into an abyss. The Muslims will burn their bows; arrows and quivers for seventy years. He s.a.w said: Allah will send upon them a rain which no house of hide nor mud will bear. The earth will be washed; leaving it like a mirror. Then it will be said to the earth: bring forth your fruits and return your blessings. So on that day; a whole troop would eat a pomegranate and seek shade under its skin. Milk will be so blessed that a large group of people will be sufficed by one milking of a camel. And that a tribe will be sufficed by one milking of a cow; and that a group will be sufficed by the milking of sheep. While it is like that; Allah will send a wind which grabs the soul of every believer; leaving the remainder of the people copulating publicly like the copulation of donkeys. SunanAlTermithi-017-001-9719 | Abu Huraira narrated: The people of AlSuffah were the guests of the people of Islam;they had nothing of people nor wealth to rely upon. And By Allah; the One Whom there is none worthy of worship besides Him I would lay on the ground on my liver side due to hunger; And I would fasten a stone to my stomach out of hunger. One day I sat by the way that they the Companions use to come out through. Abu Bakr passed and so I asked him about an Ayah from Allah Book; not asking him except that he might tell me to follow him for something to eat. But he passed on without doing so. Then Umar passed; so I asked him about an Ayah from Allah Book; not asking him except that he might tell me to follow him. But he passed on without doing so. Then Ab AlQasim s.a.w passed; and he smiled when he saw me; and said: Abu Huraira? I said: I am here O Messenger of Allah! He said: Come along. He continued and I followed him; he entered his house; so I sought permission to enter; and he permitted me. He found a bowl of milk and said: Where did this milk come from? It was said: It was a gift to us from so and so. So the Messenger of Allah s.a.w said: O Abu Huraira I said: I am here O Messenger of Allah! He said: Go to the people of AlSuffah to invite them. - Now; they were the guests of the people of Islam; they had nothing of people nor wealth to rely upon. Whenever some charity was brought to him; he would send it to them without using any of it. And when a gift was given to him s.a.w ; he would send for them to participate and share with him in it. I became upset about that; and I said to myself : What good will this bowl be among the people of AlSuffah and I am the one bringing it to them? Then he ordered me to circulate it among them So I wondered what of it would reach me from it; and I hoped that I would get from it what would satisfy me. But I would certainly not neglect to obey Allah and obey His Messenger; so I went to them and invited them. When they entered upon him they sat down. He said: Abu Huraira; take the bowl and give it to them. So I gave it to a man who drank his fill; then he gave it to another one; until it ended up with the Messenger of Allah s.a.w ; and all of the people had drank their fill. The Messenger of Allah s.a.w took the bowl; put it on his hand;then raised his head. He smiled and said: Abu Huraira; drink. So I drank; then he said: Drink. I kept drinking and he kept on saying; Drink. Then I said: By the One Who sent you with the truth! I have no more space for it. So he took the bowl and praised Allah; mentioned His Name and drank. He garlanded and marked the sacrificial animals; and entered the sacred state of Umrah. He then went on with the tradition. The Prophet moved on and when he came to the mountain; pass by which one descends to Mecca to them; his riding-beast knelt down; and the people said twice: Go on; go on; AlQaswa has become jaded. The Prophet ﷺ said: She has not become jaded and that is not a characteristic of hers; but He Who restrained the elephant has restrained her. He then said: By Him in Whose hand my soul is; they will not ask any me good thing by which they honor which God has made sacred without my giving them it. He then urged her and she leaped up and he turned Aasi de from them; and stopped at the farthest side of AlHudaibiyah at a pool with little water. Meanwhile Budail Bin Warqa AlKhuzaI came; and Urwah Bin Masud joined him. He began to speak to the Prophet ﷺ. Whenever he spoke to the Prophet ﷺ ; he caught his beard. AlMughriah Bin Shubah was standing beside the Prophet ﷺ.He had a sword with him; wearing a helmet. They replied: AlMughirah Bin Shubah. He said: O treacherous one! Did I not use my offices in your treachery? In pre-Islamic days AlMughirah Bin Shubah accompanied some people and murdered them; and took their property. He then came to the Prophet and embraced Islam. The Prophet ﷺ said: As for Islam we accepted it; but as to the property; as it has been taken by treachery; we have no need of it. He went on with the tradition the Prophet ﷺ said: Write down: This is what Muhammad; the Messenger of Allah; has decided. He then narrated the tradition. Suhail then said: And that a man will not come to you from us; even if he follows your religion; without you sending him back to us. When he finished drawing up the document; the Prophet ﷺ said to his Companions: Get up and sacrifice and then shave. Thereafter some believing women who were immigrants came. Abu Basir said: Let me look at it. He let him have it and he struck him till he died; whereupon the other fled and came to Medina; and running entered the Masjid. The Prophet ﷺ said: This man has seen something frightful. He said: I swear by Allah that my Companion has been killed; and im as good as dead. Abu Basir then arrived and said: Allah has fulfilled your covenant. You returned me to them; but Allah saved me from them. The Prophet ﷺ said: Woe to his mother; stirrer up of war! MuwataMalik-017-001-34694 | Yahya related to me from Malik from Ibn Shihab from Abd AlHamid Ibn Abdulrahman Ibn Zayd Ibn AlKhattab from Abdullah Ibn Abdullah Ibn AlHarith Ibn Nawfal from Abdullah Ibn Abbas that Umar Ibn AlKhattab set out for AlSham and when he was at Sargh; near Tabuk; the commanders of the army; Abu Ubayda Ibn AlJarrah and his companions; met him and told him that the plague had broken out in AlSham. Ibn Abbas said; Umar Ibn AlKhattab said; all the first Muhajir unto me. He assembled them and asked them for advice; informing them that the plague had broken out in AlSham. They disagreed. Some said; You have set out for something; and we do not think that you should leave it. Others said; You have the companions of the Prophet; may Allah bless him and grant him peace; and the rest of the people with you; and we do not think that you should send them towards this plague. Umar said; Leave me. Then he said; Summon the Ansar to me. They were summoned and he asked them for advice. They acted as the Muhajirun had and disagreed as they had disagreed. He said; Leave me. Then he said; Summon to me whoever is here of the aged men of Quraysh from the Muhajirun of the conquest. He summoned them and not one of them differed. They said; We think that you should withdraw the people and not send them towards the plague. Umar called out to the people; I am leaving by camel in the morning; so they set out. Abu Ubayda said; Is it flight from the decree of Allah? Umar said; Better that someone other than you had said it; Abu Ubayda. Yes. We flee from the decree of Allah to the decree of Allah. What would you think if these camels had gone down into a valley which had two slopes; one of them fertile; and the other barren. If you pastured in the fertile part; wouldnt you pasture them by the decree of Allah? If you pastured them in the barren part; wouldnt you pasture them by the decree of Allah? Abdulrahman Ibn Awuf arrived and he had been off doing something and he said; I have some knowledge of this. I heard the Messenger of Allah; may Allah bless him and grant him peace; say; If you hear about it in a land; do not go forward to it. If it comes upon a land and you are in it; then do not depart in flight from it. Umar praised Allah and then set off. | The Chapter on Farming And Irrigation Land Of Plague in HodHood Indexing, The Book of Purity in Muwata Malik |
