SahihAlBukhari-017-001-5018 | Narrated Abu Said: Some of the companions of the Prophet ﷺ went on a journey till they reached some of the Arab tribes at night. They asked the latter to treat them as their guests but they refused. The chief of that tribe was then bitten by a snake or stung by a scorpion and they tried their best to cure him but in vain. Some of them said to the others ; Nothing has benefited him; will you go to the people who resided here at night; it may be that some of them might possess something as treatment ; They went to the group of the companions of the Prophet ﷺ and said; Our chief has been bitten by a snake or stung by a scorpion and we have tried everything but he has not benefited. Have you got anything useful ? One of them replied; Yes; by Allah! I can recite a Ruqya; but as you have refused to accept us as your guests; I will not recite the Ruqya for you unless you fix for us some wages for it. They agrees to pay them a flock of sheep. One of them then went and recited Surat AlFatiha : All the praises are for the Lord of the Worlds and puffed over the chief who became all right as if he was released from a chain; and got up and started walking; showing no signs of sickness. They paid them what they agreed to pay. Some of them i.e. the companions then suggested to divide their earnings among themselves; but the one who performed the recitation said; Do not divide them till we go to the Prophet ﷺ and narrate the whole story to him; and wait for his order. So; they went to Allah Messenger ﷺ and narrated the story. Allah Messenger ﷺ asked; How did you come to know that Surat AlFatiha was recited as Ruqya? Then he added; You have done the right thing. Divide what you have earned and assign a share for me as well. The Prophet ﷺ smiled thereupon. | The Chapter on The Recitation Of Companions in HodHood Indexing, Chapter on What is paid for Ruqya in Sahih AlBukhari

Narrated Salim Bin Abdullah from Ibn Umar: Allah Messenger ﷺ said; Do not sell or buy fruits before their benefit was evident and do not sell fresh fruits dates for dried dates. | The Chapter on Agriculture And Selling Of Fruits in HodHood Indexing, Chapter on If somebody sells fruits before their benefit is evident in Sahih AlBukhari
SahihAlBukhari-017-001-6135 | Narrated Abu Mousa: The Prophet ﷺ said; The example of guidance and knowledge with which Allah has sent me is like abundant rain falling on the earth; some of which was fertile soil that absorbed rain water and brought forth vegetation and grass in abundance. And another portion of it was hard and held the rain water and Allah benefited the people with it and they utilized it for drinking; making their animals drink from it and for irrigation of the land for cultivation. And a portion of it was barren which could neither hold the water nor bring forth vegetation then that land gave no benefits. The first is the example of the person who comprehends Allah religion and gets benefit from the knowledge which Allah has revealed through me the Prophets and learns and then teaches others. The last example is that of a person who does not care for it and does not take Allah guidance revealed through me He is like that barren land. | The Chapter on Farming And Irrigation And Earth in HodHood Indexing, Chapter on The superiority of a person who learns Islam becomes a religious scholar and then teaches it to others in Sahih AlBukhari |

SahihMuslim-017-001-19964 | Abu Mousa reported Allah Apostle ﷺ as saying: The similitude of that guidance and knowledge with which Allah; the Exalted and Glorious; has sent me is that of rain falling upon the earth. There is a good piece of land which receives the rainfall eagerly and as a result of it there is grown in it herbage and grass abundantly. Then there is a land hard and barren which retains water and the people derive benefit from it and they drink it and make the animals drink. Then there is another land which is barren. Neither water is retained in it; nor is the grass grown in it. And that is the similitude of the first one who develops the understanding of the religion of Allah and it becomes a source of benefit to him with which Allah sent me. The second one is that who acquires the knowledge of religion and imparts it to others. Then the other type is one who does not pay attention to the revealed knowledge and thus does not accept guidance of Allah with which I have been sent. | The Chapter on Farming And Irrigation And Earth in HodHood Indexing, Chapter on 5 in Sahih Muslim
SahihMuslim-017-001-21471 | Abu Huraira Allah be pleased with him reported: Woman has been created from a rib and will in no way be straightened for you; so if you wish to benefit by her; benefit by her while crookedness remains in her. And if you attempt to straighten her; you will break her; and breaking her is divorcing her. | Chapter on 18 in Sahih Muslim
SahihMuslim-017-001-22589 | Thauban; the freed slave of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ ; said: While I was standing beside the Messenger of Allah ﷺ one of the rabbis of the Jews came and said: Peace be upon you; O Muhammad. I pushed him backwith a push that he was going to fall. Upon this he said: Why do you push me? I said: Why dont you say: O Messenger of Allah? The Jew said: We call him by the name by which he was named by his family. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: My name is Muhammad with which I was named by my family. The Jew said: I have come to ask you something. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: Should that thing be of any benefit to you; if I tell you that? He the Jew said: I will lend my ears to it. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ drew a line with the help of the stick that he had with him and then said: Ask whatever you like. Thereupon the Jew said: Where would the human beings be on the Daywhen the earth would change into another earth and the heavens too would change into other heavens ? The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: They would be in darkness beside the Bridge. He the Jew again said: Who amongst people would be the first to cross this bridge.? He said: They would be the poor amongst the refugees. The Jew said: What would constitute their breakfast when they would enter Paradise? He the Holy Prophet replied: A caul of the fish-liver. He the Jew said. What would be their food alter this? He the Holy Prophet said: A bullockwhich was fed in the different quarters of Paradise would be slaughtered for them. He the Jew said: What would be their drink? He the Holy Prophet said: They would be given drink from the fountain which is named Salsabil. He the Jew said: I have come to ask you about a thing which no one amongst the people on the earth knows except an apostle or one or two men besides him. He the Holy Prophet said: Would it benefit you if I tell you that? He the Jew said: I would lend ears to that. He then said: I have come to ask you about the child. He the Holy Prophet said: The reproductive substance of man is white and that of woman i. e. ovum central portion yellow; and when they have sexual intercourse and the male substance chromosomes and genes prevails upon the female substance chromosomes and genes ; it is the male child that is created by Allah Decree; and when the substance of the female prevails upon the substance contributed by the male; a female child is formed by the Decree of Allah. The Jew said: What you have said is true; verily you are an Apostle. He then returned and went away. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: He asked me about such and such things of which I have had no knowledge till Allah gave me that. | The Chapter on Farming And Irrigation And Earth in HodHood Indexing, Chapter on 8 in Sahih Muslim |

Then he recited this Ayah: Those who when they have committed Fahishah or wronged themselves with eveil; remember Allah. 3:135 until the end of the Ayah. | The Chapter on Seeking Forgiveness in HodHood Indexing, Chapter on What Has Been Related About Salat With Repentance in Sunan AlTermithi

Be mindful of Allah and you will find Him before you. When you ask; ask Allah; and when you seek aid; seek Allah aid. Know that if the entire creation were to gather together to do something to benefit you- you would never get any benefit except that Allah had written for you. SunanAlNasai-017-001-15880 | It was narrated from Salim Bin Abdullah that Abdullah Bin Umar said;during the Farewell Pilgrimage; the Messenger of Allah benefited from performing Umrah and then Hajj; and he brought a Hadi sacrificial animal with him from dh AlHulaifah. The Messenger of Allah entered Ihram for Umrah frist; them for Hajj; and the people also benefited by entering Ihram for Umrah first; then for Hajj. Some of the people brought the Hadi and carried it along with them; and other s did not. When the Messenger of Allah came to Makkah; he said to the people: Whoever among you has brought a Hadi; nothing is permissible for him that became forbidden when he entered Ihram; until he has finished his Hajj; Whoever did not find a Hadi; let him fast for three days during the Hajj; and for seven when he returns to his family; the Messenger of Allah performed Tawaf when he came to Makkah and touched the corner where the Black Stone is first of all; then he walked rapidly during the first three of the seven circles; and walked daring the last four. After he finished circumambulating the House he prayed two Rakahs at Maqam Ibrahim. Then he went to AlSafa and walked seven rounds between AlSafa and AlMarwah. And he did not do any action that was forbidden because of Ihram until he had completed his Hajj and slaughtered his Hadi on the Day of sacrifice. Then he hastened onward toard Makkah and circumambulated the House. Then everything that had been forbidden because of Ihram became permissible. And those who had brought the Hadi with them did the same as the Messenger of Allah did. | The Chapter on Hajj Altamattu in HodHood Indexing, Chapter on Tamattu in Sunan AlNasai |

SunanAbuDawoud-017-001-27298 | Narrated Qays Ibn Bishr AlTaghlibi: My father told me that he was a companion of Abu AlDarda. There was in Damascus a man from the companions of the Prophet ﷺ ; called Ibn AlHanzaliyah. He was a recluse and rarely met the people. He remained engaged in prayer. When he was not praying he was occupied in glorifying Allah and exalting Him until he went to his family. Once he passed us when we were with AbudDarda. AbudDarda said to him: Tell us a word which benefits us and does not harm you. He said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ sent out a contingent and it came back. One of the men came and sat in the place where the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to sit; and he said to a man beside him: Would that you saw us when we met the enemy and so-and-so attacked and cut through a lance. He said: Take it from me and I am a boy of the tribe Ghifar. What do you think about his statement? He replied: I think his reward was lost. Another man heard it and said: I do not think that there is any harm in it. They quarrelled until the Messenger of Allah ﷺ heard it; and he said: Glory be to Allah! There is no harm if he is rewarded and praised. I saw that AbudDarda was pleased with it and began to raise his hand to him and say: Did you hear it from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ ? He said: Yes. He continued to repeat it to him so often that I thought he was going to kneel down. He said: On another day he again passed us. AbudDarda said to him: Tell us a word which benefits us and does not harm you. He said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to us: One who spends on the maintenance of horses for jihad is like the one who spreads his hand to give alms sadaqah and does not withhold it. He then passed us on another day. AbudDarda said to him: Tell us a word which benefits us and does no harm to you. He said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: Khuraym AlAsadi would be a fine man were it not for the length of his hair; which reaches the shoulders; and the way he lets his lower garment hang down. When Khuraym heard that; he hurriedly; took a knife; cut his hair in line with his ears and raised his lower garment half way up his legs. He then passed us on another day. AbudDarda said to him: tell us a word which benefits us and does not harm you. He said: I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: You are coming to your brethren; so tidy your mounts and tidy your dress; until you are like a mole among the people. Allah does not like obscene words or deeds; or do intentional committing of obscenity.Abu Dawud said: Similarly; Abu Nuaim narrated from Hisham. He said: Until you will be like a mole among the people. | The Chapter on Truth And Hypocrisy And Companions In Almadinah in HodHood Indexing, Chapter on What Has Been Reported Regarding Isbal With The Izar in Sunan Abu Dawoud |

MuwataMalik-017-001-34941 | Malik related to me from Amr Ibn Yahya AlMazini from his father that AlDahhak Ibn Khalifa watered his irrigation ditch from a large source of water. He wanted to have it pass through the land of Muhammad Ibn Maslama; and Muhammad refused. AlDahhak said to him; Why do you prevent me? It will benefit you. You can drink from it first and last and it will not harm you. Muhammed refused so AlDahhak spoke about it to Umar Ibn AlKhattab; and Umar Ibn AlKhattab summoned Muhammad Ibn Maslama and ordered him to clear the way. Muhammad said; No. Umar said; Why do you prevent your brother from what will benefit him and is also useful for you? You will take water from it first and last and it will not harm you. Muhammad said; No; by Allah! Umar said; By Allah; he will pass it through; even if it is over your belly! Umar ordered him to allow its passage and AlDahhak did so. | The Chapter on Assignments And Benefits in HodHood Indexing, The Book of The Description of the Prophet may Allah Bless Him and Grant Him Peace in Muwata Malik |
