Devil In Sahih AlBukhari

Hadith PageArabic TextEnglish TranslationBook and Chapter
SahihAlBukhari-017-001-7114Narrated Abu Huraira: Allah Prophet said; When Allah decrees some order in the heaven; the angels flutter their wings indicating complete surrender to His saying which sounds like chains being dragged on rock. And when the state of fear disappears; they ask each other; What has your Lord ordered? They say that He has said that which is true and just; and He is the Most High; the Most Great. 34.23. Then the stealthy listeners devils hear this order; and these stealthy listeners are like this; one over the other. Sufyan; a sub-narrator demonstrated that by holding his hand upright and separating the fingers. A stealthy listener hears a word which he will convey to that which is below him and the second will convey it to that which is below him till the last of them will convey it to the wizard or foreteller. Sometimes a flame fire may strike the devil before he can convey it; and sometimes he may convey it before the flame fire strikes him; whereupon the wizard adds to that word a hundred lies. The people will then say; Didnt he i.e. magician tell such-and-such a thing on such-and-such date? So that magician is said to have told the truth because of the Statement which has been heard from the heavens. The Chapter on Games And Hunting And Shooting in HodHood Indexing, The Book of Prophetic Commentary on the Quran Tafseer of the Prophet in Sahih AlBukhari

At that time something intervened between the devils and the news of the Heaven; and flames were sent down upon them; so the devils returned. Their fellow-devils said; What is wrong with you? They said; Something has intervened between us and the news of the Heaven; and fires flames have been shot at us. Their fellow-devils said; Nothing has intervened between you and the news of the Heaven; but an important event has happened. Therefore; travel all over the world; east and west; and try to find out what has happened. And so they set out and travelled all over the world; east and west; looking for that thing which intervened between them and the news of the Heaven. Those of the devils who had set out towards Tihama; went to Allah Messenger ﷺ at Nakhla a place between Mecca and Taif while he was on his way to Ukaz Market. They met him while he was offering the Fajr prayer with his companions. When they heard the Holy Quran being recited by Allah Messenger ﷺ ; they listened to it and said to each other. This is the thing which has intervened between you and the news of the Heavens. Then they returned to their people and said; O our people! We have really heard a wonderful recital Quran. It gives guidance to the right; and we have believed therein. We shall not join in worship; anybody with our Lord. See 72.1-2 Then Allah revealed to His Prophet Surat AlJinn : Say: It has been revealed to me that a group 3 to 9 of Jinns listened to the Quran. 72.1 The statement of the Jinns was revealed to him.The Chapter on Revealing Hell Fire in HodHood Indexing, The Book of Prophetic Commentary on the Quran Tafseer of the Prophet in Sahih AlBukhari

At the same time; a barrier was put between the devils and the news of heaven. Fire commenced to be thrown at them. The Devils went to their people; who asked them; What is wrong with you? They said; A barrier has been placed between us and the news of heaven. And fire has been thrown at us. They said; The thing which has put a barrier between you and the news of heaven must be something which has happened recently. Go eastward and westward and see what has put a barrier between you and the news of heaven. Those who went towards Tuhama came across the Prophet at a place called Nakhla and it was on the way to Suq Ukaz and the Prophet ﷺ was offering the Fajr prayer with his companions. SunanAbuDawoud-017-001-24621Narrated Amr Ibn Anbasah AlSulami: I asked: Messenger of Allah; in which part of night the supplication is more likely to be accepted? He replied: In the last part: Pray as much as you like; for the prayer is attended by the angels and it is recorded till you offer the dawn prayer; then stop praying when the sun is rising till it has reached the height of one or two lances; for it rises between the two horns of the Devil; and the infidels offer prayer for it at that time. Then pray as much as you like; because the prayer is witnessed and recorded till the shadow of a lance be- comes equal to it. Then cease prayer; for at that time the Hell-fire is heated up and doors of Hell are opened. When the sun declines; pray as much as you like; for the prayer is witnessed till you pray the afternoon prayer; then cease prayer till the sun sets; for it sets between the horns of the Devil; and at that time the infidels offer prayer for it.
