SahihAlBukhari-017-001-1417 | Narrated Abu Mousa: The Prophet ﷺ said; My example and the example of what I have been sent with is that of a man who came to some people and said; O people! I have seen the enemy army with my own eyes; and I am the naked warner; so protect yourselves! Then a group of his people obeyed him and fled at night proceeding stealthily till they were safe; while another group of them disbelieved him and stayed at their places till morning when the army came upon them; and killed and ruined them completely So this is the example of that person who obeys me and follows what I have brought the Quran and the Sunna ; and the example of the one who disobeys me and disbelieves the truth I have brought. | The Chapter on Disobedience And Obligations in HodHood Indexing, Chapter on Following the Sunna of the Prophet in Sahih AlBukhari

I reported that saying to my uncle or to Umar who; in his turn; informed the Prophet ﷺ of it. The Prophet ﷺ called me and I narrated to him the whole story. Then Allah Messenger ﷺ sent for Abdullah Bin Ubai and his companions; and they took an oath that they did not say that. So Allah Messenger ﷺ disbelieved my saying and believed his. I was distressed as I never was before. I stayed at home and my uncle said to me. You just wanted Allah Messenger ﷺ to disbelieve your statement and hate you. SahihMuslim-017-001-17686 | It has been narrarted on the authority of Abu Huraira that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: People are subservient to the Quraish: the Muslims among them being subservient to the Muslims among them; and the disbelievers among the people being subservient to the disbelievers among them. | The Chapter on Idolaters And Infidels And Disbelieve in HodHood Indexing, Chapter on 1 in Sahih Muslim
SahihMuslim-017-001-17687 | It has been narrated on the authority of Hammam Bin Munabbih who said: This is one of the traditions narrated by Abu Huraira from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ who said: People are subservient to the Quraish: the Muslims among them being subservient to the Muslims among them; and the disbelievers among them being subservient to the disbelievers among them. | The Chapter on Idolaters And Infidels And Disbelieve in HodHood Indexing, Chapter on 1 in Sahih Muslim
SahihMuslim-017-001-17985 | It has been reported from Sulaiman Bin Buraida through his father that when the Messenger of Allah ﷺ appointed anyone as leader of an army or detachment he would especially exhort him to fear Allah and to be good to the Muslims who were with him. He would say: Fight in the name of Allah and in the way of Allah. Fight against those who disbelieve in Allah. Make a holy war; do not embezzle the spoils; do not break your pledge; and do not mutilate the dead bodies; do not kill the children. When you meet your enemies who are polytheists; invite them to three courses of action. If they respond to any one of these; you also accept it and withhold yourself from doing them any harm. Invite them to accept Islam; if they respond to you; accept it from them and desist from fighting against them. Then invite them to migrate from their lands to the land of the Muhajireen and inform them that; if they do so; they shall have all the privileges and obligations of the Muhajireen. If they refuse to migrate; tell them that they will have the status of Bedouin Muslims and will be subjected to the Commands of Allah like other Muslims; but they will not get any share from the spoils of war or Fai except when they actually fight with the Muslims against the disbelievers. If they refuse to accept Islam; demand from them the Jizya. If they agree to pay; accept it from them and hold off your hands. If they refuse to pay the tax; seek Allah help and fight them. When you lay siege to a fort and the besieged appeal to you for protection in the name of Allah and His Prophet; do not accord to them the guarantee of Allah and His Prophet; but accord to them your own guarantee and the guarantee of your companions for it is a lesser sin that the security given by you or your companions be disregarded than that the security granted in the name of Allah and His Prophet be violated. When you besiege a fort and the besieged want you to let them out in accordance with Allah Command; do not let them come out in accordance with His Command; but do so at your own command; for you do not know whether or not you will be able to carry out Allah behest with regard to them. | The Chapter on Inviting The Idolaters And Infidels To Islam in HodHood Indexing, Chapter on 2 in Sahih Muslim
SahihMuslim-017-001-18051 | It has been narrated on the authority of Umar Bin AlKhattab who said: When it was the day on which the Battle of Badr was fought; the Messenger of Allah ﷺ cast a glance at the infidels; and they were one thousand while his own Companions were three hundred and nineteen. The Prophet ﷺ turned his face towards the Qibla. Then he stretched his hands and began his supplication to his Lord: O Allah; accomplish for me what Thou hast promised to me. O Allah; bring about what Thou hast promised to me. O Allah; if this small band of Muslims is destroyed. Thou will not be worshipped on this earth. He continued his supplication to his Lord; stretching his hands; facing the Qibla; until his mantle slipped down from his shoulders. So Abu Bakr came to him; picked up his mantle and put it on his shoulders. Then he embraced him from behind and said: Prophet of Allah; this prayer of yours to your Lord will suffice you; and He will fulfill for you what He has promised you. So Allah; the Glorious and Exalted; revealed the Quranic verse : When ye appealed to your Lord for help; He responded to your call saying : I will help you with one thousand angels coming in succession. So Allah helped him with angels. Abu Zumail said that the hadith was narrated to him by Ibn Abbas who said: While on that day a Muslim was chasing a disbeliever who was going ahead of him; he heard over him the swishing of the whip and the voice of the rider saying: Go ahead; Haizum! He glanced at the polytheist who had now fallen down on his back. When he looked at him carefully he found that there was a scar on his nose and his face was torn as if it had been lashed with a whip; and had turned green with its poison. An Ansari came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and related this event to him. He said: You have told the truth. This was the help from the third heaven. The Muslims that day i.e. the day of the Battle of Badr killed seventy persons and captured seventy. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to Abu Bakr and Umar Allah be pleased with them : What is your opinion about these captives? Abu Bakr said: They are our kith and kin. I think you should release them after getting from them a ransom. This will be a source of strength to us against the infidels. It is quite possible that Allah may guide them to Islam. Then the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: What is your opinion; Ibn AlKhattab? He said: Messenger of Allah; I do not hold the same opinion as Abu Bakr. I am of the opinion that you should hand them over to us so that we may cut off their heads. Hand over Aqil to Ali that he may cut off his head; and hand over such and such relative to me that I may cut off his head. They are leaders of the disbelievers and veterans among them. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ approved the opinion of Abu Bakr and did not approve what I said. The next day when I came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ ; I found that both he and Abu Bakr were sitting shedding tears. I said: Messenger of Allah; why are you and your Companion shedding tears? Tell me the reason. For I will weep; or I will at least pretend to weep in sympathy with you. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: I weep for what has happened to your companions for taking ransom from the prisoners. I was shown the torture to which they were subjected. It was brought to me as close as this tree. He pointed to a tree close to him. Then God revealed the verse: It is not befitting for a prophet that he should take prisoners until the force of the disbelievers has been crushed... to the end of the verse: so eat ye the spoils of war; it is lawful and pure. So Allah made booty lawful for them. | The Chapter on Almaghazi And Alansar in HodHood Indexing, Chapter on 18 in Sahih Muslim
SahihMuslim-017-001-18519 | It is narrated on the authority of Zaid Bin Khalid AlJuhani: The Messenger of Allah may peace and blessings be upon him led the morning prayer at Hudaybiya. There were some marks of the rainfall during the night. At the conclusion of prayer he turned towards people and observed: Do you know what your Lord has said? They replied: Allah and His Messenger know best. Upon this he the Holy Prophet remarked: He Allah said: Some of My bondsmen entered the morning as My believers and some as unbelievers. He who said: We have had a rainfall due to the Blessing and Mercy of Allah; he is My believer and a disbeliever of stars; and who said: We have had a rainfall due to the rising of such and such star disbelieved Me and affirmed his faith in the stars. | The Chapter on Rain And Clouds And Stars in HodHood Indexing, Chapter on 32 in Sahih Muslim
SahihMuslim-017-001-18521 | It is reported on the authority of Abu Huraira that the Messenger of Allah may peace and blessing be upon him observed: Allah does not shower His blessings from the heaven that in the morning a group of men disbelieve it to be a blessing from Allah. SunanAlTermithi-017-001-10131 | Narrated Masruq: A man came to Abdullah and said: A story teller has said that a smoke will appear from the earth; taking the hearing of disbelievers and manifesting as a cold for the believers. He became angry; and since he was reclining; he sat up then said: When one of you is asked about something he knows; then let him speak accordingly - Mansur one of the narrators narrated it as: Then let him inform of it - And when asked about what he does not know; then let him say: Allah knows best. For indeed; it is part of a man knowledge; that when he is asked about something he does not know; he says: Allah knows best. For verily Allah; Most High said to His Prophet: Say: No wage do I ask of you for this; nor am I one of the pretenders 38:86. When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saw that the Quraish were behaving stubbornly with him; he said: O Allah! Assist me against them with seven years of famine like the seven of Yousif. So He punished them with drought making everything barren; until they ate skins and carcasses - one of them said: bones. He said: And it appeared that smoke was coming out of the earth. So Abu Sufyan came to him and said: Verily your people are being destroyed; so supplicate to Allah for them. He said: So this is about His saying: The Day when the sky will bring forth a visible smoke; covering the people; this is a painful torment 44:10 & 11. Mansur narrated it as: So this is about His saying: Our Lord! Remove the torment from us; really we shall become believers 44:12. - So shall the punishment be removed from them in the Hereafter? AlBatshah humiliated defeat in Badr ; AlLizam disbeliever captives from Badr ; the smoke; - one of them said: The moon the other said: The Romans have all passed. | The Chapter on Rain And Clouds And Smoke Associated With Punishments in HodHood Indexing, The Book of Chapters on Tafsir in Sunan AlTermithi
SunanAlTermithi-017-001-10290 | Abu Saeed AlKhudri said: One day; the Messenger of Allah s.a.w led us in Prayer AlAsr while it was still daytime. Then he stood to give us a Khutbah. He did not leave anything that would happen until the Hour of Judgement except that he informed us about it. Whoever remembered it remembered it; and whoever forgot it forgot it. Among what he said was: Indeed the world is green and sweet; and indeed Allah has left you to remain to see how you behave. So beware of the world; and beware of the women. And among what he said was: The awe status of people should not prevent a man from saying the truth when he knows it.He one of the narrators said: Abu Saeed wept; then he said: By Allah! We have seen things and we feared. And among what he said in it; was : Indeed; for every treacherous person there shall be a banner erected on The Day Of Resurrection in proportion to his treachery. And there is no treachery greater than the treachery of a leader to the masses whose banner shall be positioned at his buttocks. And among what we remember from that day is: Behold! Indeed the children of Adam were created in various classes. Among them is he who was born a believer; lives as a believer; and dies a believer. Among them; is he who was born a disbeliever; lives as a disbeliever; and dies a disbeliever. Among them; is he who was born a believer; lives as a believer; and dies a disbeliever. Among them; is he who was born a disbeliever; lives as a disbeliever; and dies a believer. Behold! Among them is the slow to get angry; the quick to calm. Among them is the quick anger and the quick to calm; so this is with that. Behold! Among them is the quick get angry and the slow to calm; and indeed the best of them is the slow to get angry and the quick to calm; and the worst of them is the quick get angry and the slow to calm. Behold! Among them is he who pays back well and collects well. Among them is he who is bad with paying back and good when collecting. Among them is he who pays back well and is bad with collecting; so this is with that. Behold! Among them is he who is bad with paying back and bad with collecting. Indeed the best of them is the one who is good in paying back and good in collecting. And the worst of them is the one who is bad with paying back and bad with collecting. Behold! Anger is an ember in the heart of the son of Adam; as you see it in the redness of his eyes and the bulge of his jugular veins. So whoever senses something from that; then let him cling to the ground. He said: So we began turning towards the sun to see if anything of it remained meaning whether it has set or not. So Abu Bakr said: By Allah I will fight whoever differentiates between Prayer and Zakat. For indeed; Zakat is the right due upon wealth. And by Allah! He said: Yes; the closest that the Lord is to His slave is in the last part of the night; so if you can be among those who remember Allah at that time; then do so. For prayer is attended and witnessed by the angels until the sun rises; then it rises between the two horns of the Shaitan; that is the time when the disbelievers pray; so do not pray until the sun had risen to the height of a spear and its rays have disappeared. Then prayer is attended and witness by the angels until the sun is directly overhead at midday; and that is the time when the gates of Hell are opened and it is stoked up. So do not pray until the shadows appear. Then prayer is attended and witnessed by angels until the sun sets; and it sets between the horns of a Shaitan; and that is the time when the disbelievers pray. | The Chapter on Prayers And Engels in HodHood Indexing, The Book of the Times of Prayer in Sunan AlNasai

He said: I have never sent down any blessing upon My slaves but some of them become disbelievers thereby; saying: We have been given rain by such and such a star. As for the one who believes in Me and praises Me for giving rain; that is the one who believes in Me and disbelieves in the stars. I sat in front of Abdullah Bin Umar and Ibn Abbas; and the women wept. Ibn Umar said: Why dont you tell them not to weep? For I heard the Messenger of Allah say: The deceased is punished due to some of his family weeping for him. Ibn Abbas said: Umar used to narrate something like that. I went out with Umar and when we got to on uninhabited area; he saw a caravan beneath a tree. He said: See whose caravan this is. I went and I found Suhaib and his family. I came back to him and said: O Commander of the Believers! This is Suhaib and his family. He said: Bring Suhaib to me. When we entered AlMadinah; Umar was attacked and Suhaib sat by him; weeping and saying; O my brother; O my brother. Umar said: O Suhaib; do not weep; for I heard the Messenger of Allah say: The deceased is punished due to some of the weeping of his family for him. He said: I mentioned that to Aisha and she said: By Allah you are not narrating this Hadith from two liars who have disbelieved; but sometimes you mishear. And no bearer of burdens shall bear another burden. And the Messenger of Allah said: Allah increases the punishment of the disbeliever because of his family weeping for him. | The Chapter on Funerals And Invokation in HodHood Indexing, Chapter on Wailing over the Dead in Sunan AlNasai |

SunanAbuDawoud-017-001-27430 | Anas Bin Malik reported: Messenger of Allah ﷺ came over to Medina and encamped at the upper side of Medina among the tribe known as Banu Amr Bin Awuf. He stayed among them for fourteen days. He then sent someone to call Banu AlNajjar. They came to him hanging their swords from the necks. Anas then said: As if I am looking at the Messenger of Allah ﷺ sitting on his mount and Abu Bakr seated behind him; and Banu AlNajjar standing around him. He descended in the courtyard of Abu Ayoub. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ would say his prayer in the folds of the sheep and goats. He commanded us to build a Masjid. He then sent for Banu AlNajjar and said to them: Banu AlNajjar; sell this land of yours to me for some price. They replied: By Allah; we do not want any price from you except from Allah. Anas said: I tell what this land contained. It contained the graves of the disbelievers; dung-hills; and some trees of date-palm. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ commanded and the graves of the disbelievers were dug open; and the trees of the date-palm were cut off. The wood of the date-palm were erected in front of the Masjid ; the door-steps wre built of stone. They were reciting verses carrying the stones. The Prophet ﷺ also joined them in reciting verses saying: O Allah; there is no good except the good of the Hereafter. MuwataMalik-017-001-35399 | Yahya related to me from Malik from Nafi that Abdullah Ibn Umar said; Whoever swears by Allah and then says; Allah willing and then does not do what he has sworn to; has not broken his oath. Malik said; The best I have heard on this reservation is that it belongs to the statement made if the speaker does not break the normal flow of speech before he is silent. If he is silent and breaks the flow of speech; he has no exception. Yahya said; Malik said that a man who said that he had disbelieved or associated something with Allah and then he broke his oath; had no kaffara; and he was not a disbeliever or one who associated something with Allah unless his heart concealed something of either of those. He should ask forgiveness of Allah and not return to it - for what he did was evil. | The Chapter on Menstruation And Ablution in HodHood Indexing, The Book of Jihad in Muwata Malik |
