SahihAlBukhari-017-001-1164 | Narrated Ibn Umar: Allah Messenger ﷺ said; Your stay in this world in comparison to the stay of the nations preceding you; is like the period between Asr prayer and the sun set in comparison to a whole day. The people of the Torah were given the Torah and they acted on it till midday and then they were unable to carry on. And they were given a reward equal to one Qirat each. Then the people of the Gospel were given the Gospel and they acted on it till Asr Prayer and then they were unable to carry on; so they were given la reward equal to one Qirat each. Then you were given the Quran and you acted on it till sunset; therefore you were given a reward equal to two Qirats each. On that; the people of the Scriptures said; These people Muslims did less work than we but they took a bigger reward. Allah said to them. Have I done any oppression to you as regards your rights? They said; No. Then Allah said; That is My Blessing which I grant to whomsoever I will. | The Chapter on Jihad And Alhajj in HodHood Indexing, Chapter on Say Bring here the Taurat and recite it in Sahih AlBukhari
SahihAlBukhari-017-001-1485 | Narrated Abu Huraira: Allah Messenger ﷺ said; Horses may be used for three purposes: For a man they may be a source of reward in the Hereafter ; for another; a means of protection; and for another; a source of sin. The man for whom they are a source of reward; is the one who keeps them for Allah Cause and ties them with long ropes and lets them graze in a pasture or garden. Whatever those long ropes allow them to eat of that pasture or garden; will be written as good deeds for him and if they break their ropes and run one or two rounds; then all their footsteps and dung will be written as good deeds for him; and if they pass a river and drink from it though he has had no intention of watering them; even then; that will be written as good deeds for him. So such horses are a source of reward for that man. For the man who keeps horses for his livelihood in order not to ask others for help or beg his bread; and at the same time he does not forget Allah right of what he earns through them and of their backs that he presents it to be used in Allah Cause ; such horses are a shelter for him from poverty. For the man who keeps them just out of pride and for showing off; they are a source of sin. Then Allah Messenger ﷺ was asked about donkeys. He said; Allah has not revealed anything to me regarding them except this comprehensive Verse: Then anyone who has done good; equal to the weight of an atom or a small ant shall see it; and any one who has done evil; equal to the weight of an atom or a small ant shall see it. 99.7-8 | The Chapter on Jihad Manners in HodHood Indexing, Chapter on The laws inferred from certain evidences and the meaning of an evidence in Sahih AlBukhari

She said; O Allah Messenger ﷺ ! You know the position of Haritha in my heart i.e. how dear to me he was ; so if he is in Paradise; I will not weep for him; or otherwise; you will see what I will do. The Prophet ﷺ said; Are you mad? Is there only one Paradise? There are many Paradises; and he is in the highest Paradise of Firdaus. The Prophet added; A forenoon journey or an after noon journey in Allah Cause is better than the whole world and whatever is in it; and a place equal to an arrow bow of anyone of you; or a place equal to a foot in Paradise is better than the whole world and whatever is in it; and if one of the women of Paradise looked at the earth; she would fill the whole space between them the earth and the heaven with light; and would fill whatever is in between them; with perfume; and the veil of her face is better than the whole world and whatever is in it. | The Chapter on Journeys And Travel And Camels in HodHood Indexing, Chapter on The description of Paradise and the Fire in Sahih AlBukhari
SahihAlBukhari-017-001-262 | Narrated Abu Huraira: that Allah Messenger ﷺ ﷺ said; Whoever attends the funeral procession till he offers the funeral prayer for it; will get a reward equal to one Qirat; and whoever accompanies it till burial; will get a reward equal to two Qirats. It was asked; What are two Qirats? He replied; Like two huge mountains. | The Chapter on Jihad And Mercy in HodHood Indexing, Chapter on Whoever waits till the deceased is buried in Sahih AlBukhari
SahihAlBukhari-017-001-3257 | Narrated AlBara: There was revealed: Not equal are those believers who sit at home and those who strive and fight in the Cause of Allah. 4.95 The Prophet ﷺ said; Call Zaid for me and let him bring the board; the inkpot and the scapula bone or the scapula bone and the ink pot. Then he said; Write: Not equal are those Believers who sit..; and at that time Amr Bin Um Maktum; the blind man was sitting behind the Prophet ﷺ. He said; O Allah Apostle! What is your order For me as regards the above Verse as I am a blind man? So; instead of the above Verse; the following Verse was revealed: Not equal are those believers who sit at home except those who are disabled by injury or are blind or lame etc. and those who strive and fight in the cause of Allah. 4.95 | The Chapter on Revelation And Alquran Verses in HodHood Indexing, Chapter on The scribe of the Prophet in Sahih AlBukhari

SahihAlBukhari-017-001-3537 | Narrated Anas: Abdulrahman Bin Auf married a woman and gave her gold equal to the weight of a date stone as Mahr. SahihAlBukhari-017-001-3989 | Narrated Abu Huraira: The Prophet ﷺ said; A horse may be kept for one of three purposes: for a man it may be a source of reward; for another it may be a means of living; and for a third it may be a burden a source of committing sins. As for the one for whom it is a source of reward; he is the one who keeps his horse for the sake of Jihad in Allah Cause; he ties it with a long rope on a pasture or in a garden. So whatever its rope allows it to eat; will be regarded as good rewardable deeds for its owner. And if it breaks off its rope and jumps over one or two hillocks; even its dung will be considered amongst his good deeds. And if it passes by a river and drinks water from it; that will be considered as good deeds for his benefit even if he has had no intention of watering it. A horse is a shelter for the one who keeps it so that he may earn his living honestly and takes it as a refuge to keep him from following illegal ways of gaining money ; and does not forget the rights of Allah i.e. paying the Zakat and allowing others to use it for Allah Sake. But a horse is a burden and a source of committing sins for him who keeps it out of pride and pretense and with the intention of harming the Muslims. The Prophet ﷺ was asked about donkeys. He replied; Nothing has been revealed to be concerning them except this comprehensive Verse which covers everything :-Then whosoever has done good equal to the weight of an atom or a small ant ; Shall see it its reward And whosoever has done evil equal to the weight of an atom or a small ant ; Shall see it Its punishment. 99.7-8 | The Chapter on Jihad Manners in HodHood Indexing, Chapter on Chapter in Sahih AlBukhari

One group consisted of Aisha; Hafsa; Safiya and Sauda; and the other group consisted of Umm Salamah and the other wives of Allah Messenger ﷺ. The Muslims knew that Allah Messenger ﷺ loved Aisha; so if any of them had a gift and wished to give to Allah Messenger ﷺ ; he would delay it; till Allah Messenger ﷺ had come to Aisha home and then he would send his gift to Allah Messenger ﷺ in her home. The group of Umm Salamah discussed the matter together and decided that Umm Salamah should request Allah Messenger ﷺ to tell the people to send their gifts to him in whatever wife house he was. Umm Salamah told Allah Messenger ﷺ of what they had said; but he did not reply. Then they those wives asked Umm Salamah about it. She said; He did not say anything to me. They asked her to talk to him again. She talked to him again when she met him on her day; but he gave no reply. When they asked her; she replied that he had given no reply. They said to her; Talk to him till he gives you a reply. When it was her turn; she talked to him again. He then said to her; Do not hurt me regarding Aisha; as the Divine Inspirations do not come to me on any of the beds except that of Aisha. On that Umm Salamah said; I repent to Allah for hurting you. Then the group of Umm Salamah called Fatima; the daughter of Allah Messenger ﷺ and sent her to Allah Messenger ﷺ to say to him; Your wives request to treat them and the daughter of Abu Bakr on equal terms. Then Fatima conveyed the message to him. The Prophet ﷺ said; O my daughter! Dont you love whom I love? She replied in the affirmative and returned and told them of the situation. They requested her to go to him again but she refused. They then sent Zainab bint Jahsh who went to him and used harsh words saying; Your wives request you to treat them and the daughter of Ibn Abu Quhafa on equal terms. On that she raised her voice and abused Aisha to her face so much so that Allah Messenger ﷺ looked at Aisha to see whether she would retort. Aisha started replying to Zainab till she silenced her. The Prophet ﷺ then looked at Aisha and said; She is really the daughter of Abu Bakr. | The Chapter on Enemies And Groups And Household in HodHood Indexing, Chapter on Chosing the to give a gift in Sahih AlBukhari
SahihAlBukhari-017-001-5046 | Narrated Abu Huraira: Allah Messenger ﷺ said; Keeping horses may be a source of reward to some man ; a shelter to another i.e. means of earning one living ; or a burden to a third. He to whom the horse will be a source of reward is the one who keeps it in Allah Cause prepare it for holy battles and ties it by a long rope in a pasture or a garden. He will get a reward equal to what its long rope allows it to eat in the pasture or the garden; and if that horse breaks its rope and crosses one or two hills; then all its footsteps and its dung will be counted as good deeds for its owner; and if it passes by a river and drinks from it; then that will also be regarded as a good deed for its owner even if he has had no intention of watering it then. Horses are a shelter from poverty to the second person who keeps horses for earning his living so as not to ask others; and at the same time he gives Allah right i.e. rakat from the wealth he earns through using them in trading etc.; and does not overburden them. He who keeps horses just out of pride and for showing off and as a means of harming the Muslims; his horses will be a source of sins to him. But if the relatives or one of them of the killed person forgive their brother i.e. the killers something of Qisas i.e. not to kill the killer by accepting blood money in the case of intentional murder --then the relatives of the killed person should demand blood-money in a reasonable manner and the killer must pay with handsome gratitude. When prayer was over; I entered the apartment of the Holy Prophet and asked his verdict about the matter in which they had differed. He came back and met the Prophet in his house where there was nobody except myself and the Messenger of Allah. I do not remember whether he Hadrat Anas made an exception of some wives of the Prophet ﷺ or not and told him the news of the caravan. Having heard the news ; the Messenger of Allah ﷺ came out hurriedly ; spoke to the people and said: We are in need of men ; whoever has an animal to ride upon ready with him should ride with us. People began to ask him permission for bringing their riding animals which were grazing on the hillocks near Medina. He said: No. I want only those who have their riding animals ready. So the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and his Companions proceeded towards Badr and reached there forestalling the polytheists of Mecca. When the polytheists also reached there; the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: None of you should step forward to do anything unless I am ahead of him. SunanAlNasai-017-001-15600 | It was narrated that Saad Bin Hisham Bin Amir said: I came to AlMadinah and entered upon Aisha; may Allah SWT be pleased with her. She said: Who are you? I said: I am Saad Bin Hisham Bin Amir. She said: May Allah have mercy on your father. I said: Tell me about the prayer of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. She said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ did such and such. I said: Yes indeed. She said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to pray Isha at night; then he would go to his bed and sleep. In the middle of the night; he would get up to relieve himself and go to his water for purification and perform Ablution. Then he went into the Masjid and prayed eight rakahs. I think he made the recitation; bowing and prostration equal in length. Then he prayed one rakah of witr; then he prayed two rakahs sitting down. Then he lay down on his side. Sometimes Bilal would come and tell him that it was time to pray before he napped; and sometimes he napped. And sometimes I was not sure if he had napped or not before he told him that it was time to pray. This is how the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to pray until he grew older and gained weight- and she mentioned whatever Allah SWT willed about his gaining weight. She said: And the Prophet ﷺ used to lead the people in praying witr; then he would go to his bed. In the middle of the night; he would get up and go to water for purification; and to relieve himself; then he would perform Ablution. Then he would go into the masjid and pray six rakahs; and I think he made the recitation; bowing; and prostration equal in length. She said: And this is how the Messenger of Allah ﷺ continued to pray. | The Chapter on Bowing In Prayers Sleeping And Ablution in HodHood Indexing, Chapter on What is done when one begins the prayer standing and mentioning the differences with those who reported from Aisha concerning it in Sunan AlNasai |

SunanAbuDawoud-017-001-24699 | Narrated Fadl Bin Abbas: I spent a night with the Prophet ﷺ to see how he prayed. He got up; performed ablution and prayed two rakahs. His standing was like his bowing i.e. equal in duration ; and his bowing was like his prostration equal in length. Then he slept. Afterwards he awoke; performed ablution; and used tooth-stick. He then recited five verses from Surah AlImran : In the creation of the heavens and the earth and the alternation of night and day. He went on doing so till he prayed ten rakahs. He then stood up and prayed one rakah observing witr with it. In the meantime the muadhdhin called to prayer. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ stood up after the muadhdhin had kept silent. He prayed two light rakahs and remained sitting till he offered the dawn prayer.Abu Dawud said: A part of the tradition transmitted by Ibn Bashshar remained hidden from me. | The Chapter on Bowing In Prayers And Almasjid in HodHood Indexing, Chapter on On The Night Prayer in Sunan Abu Dawoud
