Evil indeed are (the works) which their souls have sent forward before them (with the result), that Allah's wrath is on them, and in torment will they abide.

Take not my enemies and yours as friends (or protectors), - offering them (your) love, even though they have rejected the Truth that has come to you, and have (on the contrary) driven out the Prophet and yourselves (from your homes), (simply) because ye believe in Allah your Lord! If ye have come out to strive in My Way and to seek My Good Pleasure, (take them not as friends), holding secret converse of love (and friendship) with them: for I know full well all that ye conceal and all that ye reveal. And any of you that does this has strayed from the Straight Path.

SunanAlNasai-017-001-15694		It was narrated that Abu AlJawza said: AlHasan said:The Messenger of Allah ﷺ taught me some words to say in witr in Qunut: Allahumma ihdini fiman hadayta wa afini fiman afayta wa tawallani fiman tawallayta wa barik li fima atayta; wa qini sharra ma qadayta; fa innaka taqdi wa la yuqda alayk; wa innahu la yadhilluman walayta; tabarakta Rabbana wa atalayt O Allah; guide me among those whom You have guided; pardon me among those You have pardoned; turn to me in friendship among those on whom You have turned in friendship; and bless me in what You have bestowed; and save me from the evil of what You have decreed. For verily You decree and none can influence You; and he is not humiliated whom You have befriended. Blessed are You; O Lord; and Exalted.
