Kill not game while in the sacred precincts or in pilgrim garb. If any of you doth so intentionally, the compensation is an offering, brought to the Ka'ba, of a domestic animal equivalent to the one he killed, as adjudged by two just men among you; or by way of atonement, the feeding of the indigent; or its equivalent in fasts: that he may taste of the penalty of his deed. Allah forgives what is past: for repetition Allah will exact from him the penalty. For Allah is Exalted, and Lord of Retribution.

Violate not the sanctity of the symbols of Allah, nor of the sacred month, nor of the animals brought for sacrifice, nor the garlands that mark out such animals, nor the people resorting to the sacred house, seeking of the bounty and good pleasure of their Lord. But when ye are clear of the sacred precincts and of pilgrim garb, ye may hunt and let not the hatred of some people in (once) shutting you out of the Sacred Mosque lead you to transgression (and hostility on your part). Help ye one another in righteousness and piety, but help ye not one another in sin and rancour: fear Allah: for Allah is strict in punishment.

They are not comparable in the sight of Allah: and Allah guides not those who do wrong.

Ibn Abi Yaqub is in doubt whether AlAqra added. And Juhaina. The Prophet ﷺ said; Dont you think that the tribes of Aslam; Ghifar; Muzaina and also perhaps Juhaina are better than the tribes of Bani Tamim; Bani Amir; Asad; and Ghatafan? Somebody said; They were unsuccessful and losers! The Prophet said; Yes; by Him in Whose Hands my life is; they i.e. the former are better than they i.e. the latter. SahihMuslim-017-001-17852		It has been narrated on the authority of Numan Bin Bashir who said: As I was sitting near the pulpit of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ ; a man said: I do not care if; after embracing Islam; I do not do any good deed except distributing drinking water among the pilgrims. Another said: I do not care if; after embracing Islam; I do not do any good deed beyond maintenance service to the Sacred Masjid. Another said: Jihad in the way of Allah is better than what you have said. Umar reprimanded them and said: Dont raise your voices near the pulpit of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ on Friday. When prayer was over; I entered the apartment of the Holy Prophet and asked his verdict about the matter in which they had differed. It was upon this that Allah; the Almighty and Exalted; revealed the Quranic verse: Do you make the giving of drinking water to the pilgrims and the maintenance of the Sacred Masjid equal to the service of those who believe in Allah and the Last Day and strive hard in the cause of Allah. SunanAbuDawoud-017-001-25505		Abdullah Bin Hunain said Abdullah Bin Abbas and Miswar Bin Makhramah differed amongst themselves on the question of washing the head in the sacred state at AlAbwa. Ibn Abbas said A pilgrim in the sacred state while wearing ihram can wash his head. AlMiswar said A pilgrim in the sacred state wearing ihram cannot wash his head. Abdullah Bin Abbas then sent him Abdullah Bin Hunain to Abu Ayoub AlAnsari. He found him taking a bath between two woods erected at the edge of the well and he was hiding himself with a cloth curtain. He the narrator said I saluted him. He asked Who is this? I said I am Abdullah Bin Hunain. Abdullah Bin Abbas has sent me to you asking you how the Apostle of Allaah ﷺ used to wash his head while he was wearing ihram. Abu Ayoub then put his hand on the cloth and removed it till his head appeared to me. He then said to a person who was pouring water on him: Pour water. He poured water on his head and Abu Ayoub moved his head with his hands. He carried his hands forward and backward. He then said I saw him doing similarly. SunanAbuDawoud-017-001-25506		Nubaih Bin Wahb brother of Banu Abd AlDar said Umar Bin Ubaid Allah sent someone to Aban Bin Uthman Bin Affan asking him to participate in the marriage ceremony. Aban in those days was the chief of the pilgrims and both were in the sacred state wearing ihram. I want to give the daughter of Shaibah Bin Jubair to Talha h Bin Umar in marriage. I wish that you may attend it. Aban refused and said I heard my father Uthman Bin Affan narrating a tradition from the Apostle of Allaah ﷺ as saying A pilgrim may not marry and give someone in marriage in the sacred state while wearing ihram.
