Those who conceal Allah's revelations in the Book, and purchase for them a miserable profit, - they swallow into themselves naught but Fire; Allah will not address them on the Day of Resurrection. Nor purify them: Grievous will be their penalty.

They change the words from their (right) times and places: they say, "If ye are given this, take it, but if not, beware!" If any one's trial is intended by Allah, thou hast no authority in the least for him against Allah. For such - it is not Allah's will to purify their hearts. For them there is disgrace in this world, and in the Hereafter a heavy punishment.

SunanAbuDawoud-017-001-25024Abdulrahman Ibn Ayman; the client of Urwah; asked Ibn Umar and Abu AlZubair was was listening: What do you think if a man divorces his wife while she is menstruating? He said: Abdullah Ibn Umar divorced his wife while she was menstruating during the time of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ.So Umar asked the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying: Abdullah Ibn Umar divorced his wife while she was menstruating. Abdullah said: He returned her to me and did not count it the pronouncement anything. He said: When she is purified; he may divorce her or keep her with him. Ibn Umar said: The Prophet ﷺ recited the Quranic verse: O Prophet; when you divorce women; divorce them in the beginning of their waiting period.Abu Dawud said: This tradition has been narrated by Yunus Bin Jubair; Anas Bin Seereen Bin Jubair; Zaid Bin Aslam; Abu AlZubair and Mansur from Abu Wail on the authority of Ibn Umar. They all agreed on the theme that the Prophet ﷺ commanded him to take her back and keep her till she was purified. Then if he desired; he might divorce her or keep her with him if he wanted to do so. The version narrated by AlZuhri from Salim from Nafi on the authority of Ibn Umar has: The Prophet ﷺ commanded him to take her back and keep her till she is purified; and then has menstrual discharge; and then she is purified. Then if he desires; he may divorce her and if he desires he may keep her.Abu Dawud said: A version like that of Nafi and AlZuhri has also been transmitted by Ata AlKhurasani from AlHasan on the authority of Ibn Umar. All the versions of this tradition contradict the one narrated by Abu AlZubair. The Chapter on Menstruation And The State Of Impurity in HodHood Indexing, Chapter on Regarding The Divorce According To The Sunnah in Sunan Abu Dawoud
SunanAbuDawoud-017-001-25145Ubaid Allah Bin Abdullah Bin Utbah said that his father wrote a letter to Abd Allaah Bin AlArqam AlZuhri asking him to visit Subaiah daughter of AlHarith AlAslamiyah and ask her about her story and what the Apostle of Allaah ﷺ said to her when she asked his opinion about her. So; Umar Bin Abdullah wrote in reply to Abdullah Bin Utbah informing him what she told him. She told that she was under i.e.; the wife of Sad Bin Khawlah who belonged to Banu Amir Bin Luway. He was one of those who participated in the battle of Badr. He died at the Farwell Pilgrimage while she was pregnant. Soon after his death she gave birth to a child. When she was purified from her bleeding after child birth she adorned herself for seekers in marriage. Then Abu AlSanabil Bin Bakah a man from Banu Abd AlDar entered upon her and said to her What is the matter seeing you adorned; perhaps you are seeking marriage? I swear by Allah you cannot marry until four months and ten days pass away. Saubaiah said When she said this to me; I gathered my clothes on me when the evening came and I came to the Apostle of Allaah ﷺ and asked him about that. He told me that I became lawful when I had delivered a child. He suggested me to marry if I wished. Ibn Shihab said I do not see any harm if she marries when she gives birth to the child; even though she had the bleeding after the child birth; but her husband should not have sexual intercourse till she is purified. The Chapter on Gifts And Child Birth in HodHood Indexing, Chapter on The Waiting Period Of A Pregnant Woman in Sunan Abu Dawoud
SunanAbuDawoud-017-001-26443Narrated Hamnah daughter of Jahsh: Hamnah said my menstruation was great in quantity and severe. So I came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ for a decision and told him. I found him in the house of my sister; Zaynab; daughter of Jahsh. I said: Messenger of Allah; I am a woman who menstruates in great quantity and it is severe; so what do you think about it? It has prevented me from praying and fasting. He said: I suggest that you should use cotton; for it absorbs the blood. She replied: It is too copious for that. He said: Then take a cloth. She replied: It is too copious for that; for my blood keeps flowing. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: I shall give you two commands; whichever of them you follow; that will be sufficient for you without the other; but you know best whether you are strong enough to follow both of them. He added: This is a stroke of the Devil; so observe your menses for six or seven days; Allah alone knows which it should be; then wash. And when you see that you are purified and quite clean; pray during twenty-three or twenty-four days and nights and fast; for that will be enough for you; and do so every month; just as women menstruate and are purified at the time of their menstruation and their purification. But if you are strong enough to delay the noon Zuhr prayer and advance the afternoon Asr prayer; to wash; and then combine the noon and the afternoon prayer; to delay the sunset prayer and advance the night prayer; to wash; and then combine the two prayers; do so: and to wash at dawn; do so: and fast if you are able to do so if possible. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: Of the two commands this is more to my liking.1Abu Dawud said: Amr Bin Thabit narrated from Ibn Aqil: Hamnah said: Of the two commands this is the one which is more to my liking.2 In this version these words were not quoted as the statement of the Prophet ﷺ ; it gives it as a statement of Hamnah.Abu Dawud said: Amr Bin Thabit was a Rafidi. MuwataMalik-017-001-34238Malik said; No-one should carry the Quran by its strap; or on a cushion; unless he is pure. If it were permissible to do so; it would also have been permissible to carry it in its cover. This is not because there is something on the hands of the one who carries it by which the Quran will be soiled; but because it is disapproved of for someone to carry the Quran without being pure out of respect for the Quran; and in order to honour it. Malik said; The best thing that I have heard about this is the ayat None touch it except the purified. Surat 56 ayat 79 It ranks with the ayat in Surat Abasa Surat 80 ; where Allah; the Blessed and Exalted; says; No; it is a reminder; and whoever wishes will remember it. Upon honoured pages; exalted and purified; by the hands of scribes; noble and obedient. The Chapter on Loud Recitation Of Alquran in HodHood Indexing, The Book of Prayer in Congregation in Muwata Malik

MuwataMalik-017-001-35252Yahya related to me from Malik from Yahya Ibn Said from a man of the Ansar that his wife asked him for a divorce; and he said to her; When you have had your period; then tell me. When she had her period; she told him. He said; When you are purified then tell me. When she was purified; she told him and he divorced her. Malik said; This is the best of what I have heard about it.The Book of Wills and Testaments in Muwata Malik
MuwataMalik-017-001-35612Yahya related to me from Malik that he had heard people of knowledge say; When a woman dies and there are no women with her to wash her and no man who has the right by blood ties to take charge of that for her and no husband to take charge of it for her; she should be purified by tayammum ;that is; by wiping her face and hands with earth. Malik said; When a man dies and there are only women with him; they also should purify him with earth. Malik said; There is no particular way with us for washing the dead nor any recognised way to do it. They are just washed and purified. The Chapter on Menstruation And Tawaf in HodHood Indexing, The Book of Hajj in Muwata Malik
MuwataMalik-017-001-36120Yahya related to me from Malik that Said Ibn Abdulrahman Ibn Ruqash said; I saw Anas Ibn Malik come and squat and urinate. Then water was brought and he did Ablution. He washed his face; then his arms to the elbows; and then he wiped his head and wiped over his leather socks. Then he came to the Masjid and prayed. Yahya said that Malik was asked whether a man who did Ablution for prayerand then put on his leather socks; and then urinated and took them off and put them back on again; should begin Ablution afresh. Malik replied; He should take off his socks and wash his feet. Only someone who puts on leather socks when his feet are already ritually purified by Ablution can wipe over them. Someone who puts on leather socks when his feet are not ritually purified by Ablution; should not wipe over them. Yahya said that Malik was asked about a man who did Ablution with his leather socks on and forgot to wipe over them until the water was dry and he had prayed; and he said; He should wipe over his socks and repeat the prayer but not repeat Ablution. Malik was asked about a man who washed his feet and put on his leather socks and then started doing Ablution; and he said; He should take off his socks and do Ablution and wash his feet. The Chapter on Personal Hygiene Ablution in HodHood Indexing, The Book of Burials in Muwata Malik
