SahihAlBukhari-017-001-4939 | Narrated Abu Mousa: The Prophet ﷺ said; When the people of Ashari tribe ran short of food during the holy battles; or the food of their families in Medina ran short; they would collect all their remaining food in one sheet and then distribute it among themselves equally by measuring it with a bowl. So; these people are from me; and I am from them. | The Chapter on Forgetfulness In Prayers And Reminders in HodHood Indexing, Chapter on About sharing meals and the Nahd and Urud in Sahih AlBukhari |

SahihMuslim-017-001-17381 | Abu Saeed reported that a person belonging to the clan of Aslam; who was called Ma; iz Bin Malik; came to Allah Messenger ﷺ and said: I have committed immorality adultery ; so inflict punishment upon me. Allah Apostle ﷺ turned him away again and again. He then asked his people about the state of his mind. They said: We do not know of any ailment of his except that he has committed something about which he thinks that he would not be able to relieve himself of its burden but with the Hadd being imposed upon him. He Maiz came back to Allah Apostle ﷺ and he commanded us to stone him. We took him to the Baqi AlGharqad the graveyard of Medina. We neither tied him nor dug any ditch for him. We attacked him with bones; with clods and pebbles. He ran away and we ran after him until he came upon the ston ground AlHarra and stopped there and we stoned him with heavy stones of the Harra until he became motionless lie died. He the Holy Prophet then addressed us in the evening saying Whenever we set forth on an expedition in the cause of Allah; some one of those connected with us shrieked under the pressure of sexual lust as the bleating of a male goat. It is essential that if a person having committed such a deed is brought to me; I should punish him. He neither begged forgiveness for him nor cursed him. | The Chapter on Fornication And Adultery Legal Punishment in HodHood Indexing, Chapter on 5 in Sahih Muslim
SahihMuslim-017-001-17453 | Jabir Bin Abdullah reported that Allah Messenger ﷺ sent on in expedition a detachment consisting of three hundred persons and appointed Abu Ubaida Bin Jarrah as their chief. SahihMuslim-017-001-18035 | It has been reported by Salama Bin AlAkwa: We fought the Battle of Hawazin along with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. One day when we were having our breakfast with the Messenger of Allah may peace he upon him ; a man came riding a red camel. He made it kneel down; extracted a strip of leather from its girth and tethered the camel with it. Then he began to take food with the people and look curiously around. We were in a poor condition as some of us were on foot being without any riding animals. All of a sudden; he left us hurriedy; came to his camel; untethered it; made it kneel down; mounted it and urged the beast which ran off with him. A man on a brown rhe-camel chased him taking him for a spy. Salama the narrator said: I followed on foot. I ran on until I was near the thigh of the camel. I advanced further until I was near the haunches of the camel. I advanced still further until I caught hold of the nosestring of the camel. I made it kneel down. As soon as it placed its knee on the ground; I drew my sword and struck at the head; of the rider who fell down. I brought the camel driving it along with the man baggage and weapons. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ came forward to meet me and the people were with him. He asked: Who has killed the man? The people said: Ibn Akwa. He said: Everything of the man is for him Ibn Akwa. | The Chapter on Camels And Herdsmen Humps And Heeling in HodHood Indexing, Chapter on 13 in Sahih Muslim
SahihMuslim-017-001-18595 | It is reported on the authority of Sahl Bin Saad AlSaidi that there was an encounter between the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and the polytheists; and they fought against one another. At the conclusion of the battle the Messenger of Allah ﷺ bent his steps towards his army and they the enemies bent their steps towards their army. And there was a person his name was Quzman and he was one of the hypocrites among the Companions of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ who did not spare a detached fighter of the enemy but pursued and killed him with the sword. They the Companions of the Holy Prophet said: None served us better today than this man Upon this the Messenger of Allah ﷺ remarked: Verily he is one of the denizens of Fire. One of the people Muslims said: I will constantly shadow him. Then this man went out along with him. He halted whenever he halted; and ran along with him whenever he ran. He the narrator said: The man was seriously injured. He could not stand the pain and hastened his own death. He placed the blade of the sword on the ground with the tip between his chest and then pressed himself against the sword and killed himself. Then the man following him went to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and said: I bear testimony that verily thou art the Messenger of Allah; He the Holy Prophet said: What is the matter? He replied: The person about whom you just mentioned that he was one among the denizens of Fire and the people were surprised at this and I said to them that I would bring the news about him and consequently I went out in search of him till I found him to be very seriously injured. He hastened his death. He placed the blade of the sword upon the ground and its tip between his chest and then pressed himself against that and killed himself. Thereupon the Messenger of Allah ﷺ remarked: A person performs the deeds which to the people appear to be the deeds befitting the dweller of Paradise; but he is in fact one of the denizens of Hell. And verily a person does an act which in the eyes of public is one which is done by the denizens of Hell; but the person is one among the dwellers of Paradise. | The Chapter on Lost And Found And The Companions in HodHood Indexing, Chapter on 47 in Sahih Muslim
SahihMuslim-017-001-21862 | Muhammad Bin Qais said to the people : Should I not narrate to you a hadith of the Holy Prophet on my authority and on the authority of my mother? We thought that he meant the mother who had given him birth. He Muhammad Bin Qais then reported that it was Aisha who had narrated this: Should I not narrate to you about myself and about the Messenger of Allah ﷺ ? We said: Yes. She said: When it was my turn for Allah Messenger ﷺ to spend the night with me; he turned his side; put on his mantle and took off his shoes and placed them near his feet; and spread the corner of his shawl on his bed and then lay down till he thought that I had gone to sleep. He took hold of his mantle slowly and put on the shoes slowly; and opened the door and went out and then closed it lightly. I covered my head; put on my veil and tightened my waist wrapper; and then went out following his steps till he reached Baqi. He stood there and he stood for a long time. He then lifted his hands three times; and then returned and I also returned. He hastened his steps and I also hastened my steps. He ran and I too ran. He came to the house and I also came to the house. I; however; preceded him and I entered the house ; and as I lay down in the bed; he the Holy Prophet entered the house ; and said: Why is it; O Aisha; that you are out of breath? I said: There is nothing. He said: Tell me or the Subtle and the Aware would inform me. I said: Messenger of Allah; may my father and mother be ransom for you; and then I told him the whole story. He said: Was it the darkness of your shadow that I saw in front of me? I said: Yes. He gave me a nudge on the chest which I felt; and then said: Did you think that Allah and His Apostle would deal unjustly with you? She said: Whatsoever the people conceal; Allah will know it. He said: Gabriel came to me when you saw me. He called me and he concealed it from you. I responded to his call; but I too concealed it from you for he did not come to you ; as you were not fully dressed. I thought that you had gone to sleep; and I did not like to awaken you; fearing that you may be frightened. He Gabriel said: Your Lord has commanded you to go to the inhabitants of Baqi to those lying in the graves and beg pardon for them. I said: Messenger of Allah; how should I pray for them How should I beg forgiveness for them ? He said: Say; Peace be upon the inhabitants of this city graveyard from among the Believers and the Muslims; and may Allah have mercy on those who have gone ahead of us; and those who come later on; and we shall; God willing; join you. | The Chapter on Good Manners And Mothers in HodHood Indexing, Chapter on 35 in Sahih Muslim
SahihMuslim-017-001-22827 | Aisha Allah be pleased with her said: We went with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ during the year of the Farewell Pilgrimage. We entered into the state of Ihram for Umra. Then the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: Who has the sacrificial animal with him; he should put on Ihram for Hajj along with Umra. and should not put it off till he has completed them both Hajj and Umra. She said: When I came to Mecca. I was having menses; I neither circumambulated the House; nor ran between AlSafa and AlMarwa. I complained about it to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and he said: Undo your hair; comb it; and pronounce Talbiya for Hajj; and give up Umra for the time being ; which I did. When we had performed the Hajj; the Messenger of Allah way peace he upon him sent me with Abd AlRabman Bin Abu Bakr to Tanim saying: This is the place for your Umra. Those who had put on Ihram for Umra circumambulated the House; and ran between Alsafa and AlMarwa. They then put off Ihram and then made the last circuit after they had returned from Mina after performing their Hajj; but those who had combined the Hajj and the Umra made only one circuit as they had combined Hajj and Umra. | The Chapter on The Kabbah In Alahjj in HodHood Indexing, Chapter on 17 in Sahih Muslim |

He supplied us with a sack of dates and gave them out by the handful. When he ran short; he gave us one date at a time; until we used to suck on it like an infant; and we would drink water with it. When we ran out of them it became very difficult for us. We used to hit the Khabat leaves with our bows to knock them down and swallow them; then drink water with it. We became known as Jaish AlKhabat the Khabat army. Then; when we were about to turn inland; we saw a beast like a hill; caloled AlAnbar. Abu Ubaidah said: It is dead meat; do not eat it. Then he said: The army of the Messenger of Allah in the cause of Allah; the Mighty and Sublime; and we are forced by necessity; eat in the name of Allah. So we arte from it and we made some if it into jerked meat. Thirteen men could sit in its eye-socket. Abu Ubaidah took one of its ribs and seated a man on the biggest camel that the people had; and they passed beneath it. When we came to the Messenger of Allah; he said: What kept you so long? We said: The Quraish and we told him about the beast. He said: That is provision that Allah granted to you. Do you have anything of it with you? She said: Whatever people conceal; Allah; the Mighty and Sublime; knows it. He said: Yes. He said: Jibril came to me when you saw me leave but he did not enter upon you because you have taken off your garments. So he called me but he concealed himself from you; and I answered him but I concealed it from you. I thought that you had gone to sleep and I did not want to wake you and I was afraid that you would feel lonely. He told me to go to AlBaqi and pray for forgiveness for them. SunanAbuDawoud-017-001-25450 | Jabir said We went out along with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ raising our voices in talbiyah for Hakk alone Ifrad while Aisha raised her voice in talbiyah for an Umrah. When she reached Sarif; she menstruated. When we came to Makkah we circumambulated the Kabah and ran between AlSafa and AlMarwah. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ then commanded us that those who had not brought sacrificial animals withthem should put off their ihram after Umrah. We asked Which acts are lawful and which not ? He replied All acts are lawful that are permissible usually. We had therefore intercourse with our wives; used perfumes; put on our clothes. There remained only four days to perform Hajj at Arafat. We then raised our voice in talbiyah wearing Ihram for Hajj on the eighth of Dhu AlHijja. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ entered upon Aisha and found her weeping. He said What is the matter with you? My problem is that I have menstruated; while the people have put on their ihram but I have not done so; nor did I go round the House the Kabah. Now the people are proceeding for Hajj. He said This is a thing destined by Allah to the daughters of Adam. Take a bath; then raise your voice in talbiyah for Hajj i.e; wear ihram for Hajj. She took a abtah and performed all the rites of the Hajj lit. she stayed at all those places where the pilgrims stay. When she was purified; she circumambulated the House the Kabah ; and ran between AlSafa and AlMarwah. He the Prophet said Now you have performed both your Hajj and your Umrah. She said Messenger of Allah; I have some misgiving in my mind that I did not go round the Kabah when I performed Hajj in the beginning. MuwataMalik-017-001-35601 | Yahya related to me from Malik from Nafi that Abdullah Ibn Umar used to pay the zakat Alfitr for those slaves of his that were at Wadil-Qura and Khaybar. Yahya related to me that Malik said; The best that I have heard about the zakat Alfitr is that a man has to pay for every person that he is responsible for supporting and whom he must support. He has to pay forall his mukatabs; his mudabbars; and his ordinary slaves; whether they are present or absent; as long as they are muslim; and whether or not they are fortrade. However; he does not have to pay zakat on any of them that are not muslim. Malik said; concerning a runaway slave; I think that his master should pay the zakat fo rhim whether or not he knows where he is; if it has not been long since the slave ran away and his master hopes that he is still alive and will return. If it has been a long time since he ran away and his master has despaired of him returning then I do not think that he should pay zakat for him. Malik said; The zakat Alfitr has to be paid by people living in the desert i.e. nomadic people just as it has to be paid by people living in villages i.e. settled people ; because the Messenger of Allah; may Allah bless him and grant him peace; made the zakat Alfitr at the end of Ramadan obligatory on every muslim; whether freeman or slave; male or female. | The Chapter on Zakat And Slaves in HodHood Indexing, The Book of Hajj in Muwata Malik |
