He said: "Will ye exchange the better for the worse? Go ye down to any town, and ye shall find what ye want!" They were covered with humiliation and misery; they drew on themselves the wrath of Allah. This because they went on rejecting the Signs of Allah and slaying His Messengers without just cause. This because they rebelled and went on transgressing.

I did it not of my own accord. Such is the interpretation of (those things) over which thou wast unable to hold patience."

Said one of them, "How long have ye stayed (here)?" They said, "We have stayed (perhaps) a day, or part of a day." (At length) they (all) said, "Allah (alone) knows best how long ye have stayed here.... Now send ye then one of you with this money of yours to the town: let him find out which is the best food (to be had) and bring some to you, that (ye may) satisfy your hunger therewith: And let him behave with care and courtesy, and let him not inform any one about you.

The Prophet ﷺ then asked us; Which month is this? We said; Allah and His Apostle know it better. He kept quiet so long that we thought he might call it by another name. Then he said; Isnt it Dhu AlHijja? We said; Yes. He asked What town is this? We said; Allah and His Apostle know it better. Then he kept quiet so long that we thought he might call it by another name. He then said; Isnt it the forbidden town Mecca ? We said; Yes. He asked; What is the day today? We said; Allah and His Apostle know it better. Then he kept quiet so long that we thought that he might call it by another name. Then he said; Isnt it the Day of AlNahr slaughtering of sacrifices ? We said; Yes. Then he said; Your blood lives ; your properties; the sub narrator Muhammad; said: I think he also said :..and your honor are as sacred to one another like the sanctity of this Day of yours; in this town of yours; in this month of yours. You shall meet your Lord and He will ask you about your deeds. Beware! Dont go astray after me by striking the necks of one another. Lo! It is incumbent upon those who are present to inform it to those who are absent for perhaps the informed one might comprehend it understand it better than some of the present audience. Whenever the sub-narrator Muhammad mentioned that statement; he would say; The Prophet ﷺ said the truth. And then the Prophet ﷺ added; No doubt! Havent I conveyed Allah Message to you! No doubt! He then said thrice; Have I conveyed Allah Message to you ? The people answered him each time saying; Yes. The Prophet ﷺ added; May Allah be merciful to you or; woe on you ! Do not revert to disbelief after me by cutting the necks of each other. The Prophet ﷺ repeated his statement again and again. After that he raised his head and said; O Allah! Havent conveyed Your Message to them. Havent I conveyed Your Message to them? Ibn Abbas added; By Him in Whose Hand my soul is; the following was his will Prophet will to his followers:-It is incumbent upon those who are present to convey this information to those who are absent Beware dont renegade as disbelievers turn into infidels after me; Striking the necks cutting the throats of one another. He remained silent till we thought that he might give that day another name. He said; Isnt it the Day Of AlNahr? We said; It is. He further asked; Which month is this? We said; Allah and His Apostle know better. He remained silent till we thought that he might give it another name. He then said; Isnt it the month of Dhu AlHijja? We replied: Yes! It is. He further asked; What town is this? We replied; Allah and His Apostle know it better. He remained silent till we thought that he might give it another name. He then said; Isnt it the forbidden Sacred town of Mecca ? We said; Yes. It is. He said; No doubt; your blood and your properties are sacred to one another like the sanctity of this day of yours; in this month of yours; in this town of yours; till the day you meet your Lord. No doubt! Havent I conveyed Allah message to you? They said; Yes. He said; O Allah! Be witness. So it is incumbent upon those who are present to convey it this information to those who are absent because the informed one might comprehend it what I have said better than the present audience; who will convey it to him. Beware! Do not renegade as disbelievers after me by striking the necks cutting the throats of one another. SahihAlBukhari-017-001-5871		Narrated Ibn Umar: At Mina; the Prophet ﷺ said; Do you know what is the day today? The people replied; Allah and His Apostle know it better. He said; It is the forbidden sacred day. And do you know what town is this? They replied; Allah and His Apostle know it better. He said; This is the forbidden Sacred town Mecca. And do you know which month is this? The people replied; Allah and His Apostle know it better. He said; This is the forbidden sacred month. The Prophet ﷺ added; No doubt; Allah made your blood; your properties; and your honor sacred to one another like the sanctity of this day of yours in this month of yours in this town of yours. Narrated Ibn Umar: On the Day Of AlNahr 10th of Dhu AlHijja ; the Prophet ﷺ stood in between the Jamrat during his Hajj which he performed as in the previous Hadith and said; This is the greatest Day i.e. 10th of Dhu AlHijja. The Prophet ﷺ started saying repeatedly; O Allah! Be Witness I have conveyed Your Message. He then bade the people farewell. The people said; This is Hajjat AlWada. SahihAlBukhari-017-001-6702		Narrated Abu Huraira: The Prophet ﷺ sent some cavalry towards Najd and they brought a man from the tribe of Banu Hanifa who was called Thumama Bin Uthal. They fastened him to one of the pillars of the Masjid. The Prophet went to him and said; What have you got; O Thumama? He replied; I have got a good thought; O Muhammad! If you should kill me; you would kill a person who has already killed somebody; and if you should set me free; you would do a favor to one who is grateful; and if you want property; then ask me whatever wealth you want. He was left till the next day when the Prophet ﷺ said to him; What have you got; Thumama? He said; What I told you; i.e. if you set me free; you would do a favor to one who is grateful. The Prophet ﷺ left him till the day after; when he said; What have you got; O Thumama? He said; I have got what I told you. On that the Prophet ﷺ said; Release Thumama. So he i.e. Thumama went to a garden of date-palm trees near to the Masjid; took a bath and then entered the Masjid and said; I testify that None has the right to be worshipped except Allah; and also testify that Muhammad is His Apostle! By Allah; O Muhammad! There was no face on the surface of the earth most disliked by me than yours; but now your face has become the most beloved face to me. By Allah; there was no religion most disliked by me than yours; but now it is the most beloved religion to me. By Allah; there was no town most disliked by me than your town; but now it is the most beloved town to me. Your cavalry arrested me at the time when I was intending to perform the Umra. And now what do you think? The Prophet ﷺ gave him good tidings congratulated him and ordered him to perform the Umra. So when he came to Mecca; someone said to him; You have become a Sabian? Thumama replied; No! By Allah; I have embraced Islam with Muhammad; Apostle of Allah. No; by Allah! Not a single grain of wheat will come to you from Yamamah unless the Prophet gives his permission. The year is of twelve months; four of which are sacred; and out of these four three are in succession; i.e. Dh AlQada; Dhu AlHijja and AlMuharram; and the fourth is Rajab which is named after the Mudar tribe; between the month of Jumaida ath-thania and Shaban. Then the Prophet ﷺ asked; Which is this month? We said; Allah and His Apostle know better. On that the Prophet ﷺ kept quiet so long that we thought that he might name it with another name. Then the Prophet ﷺ said; Isnt it the month of Dhu AlHijja? We replied; Yes. Then he said; Which town is this? We replied; Allah and His Apostle know better. On that he kept quiet so long that we thought that he might name it with another name. Then he said; Isnt it the town of Mecca? We replied; Yes; Then he said; Which day is today? We replied; Allah and His Apostle know better. He kept quiet so long that we thought that he might name it with another name. Then he said; Isnt it the day of AlNahr i.e. sacrifice ? We replied; Yes. He said; So your blood; your properties; The sub-narrator Muhammad said; I think the Prophet ﷺ also said: And your honor.. are sacred to one another like the sanctity of this day of yours; in this city of yours; in this month of yours; and surely; you will meet your Lord; and He will ask you about your deeds. Beware! Do not become infidels after me; cutting the throats of one another. It is incumbent on those who are present to convey this message of mine to those who are absent. May be that some of those to whom it will be conveyed will understand it better than those who have actually heard it. The sub-narrator; Muhammad; on remembering that narration; used to say; Muhammad spoke the truth! He i.e. Prophet then added twice; No doubt! Havent I conveyed Allah Message to you? Abdullah Bin Abu Bakr said; I made a mention of that to Amra; whereupon she said: He has told the truth; for I heard Aisha say: The poor among the people of the desert come to the towns on the occasion of Id AlAdha during the lifetime of Allah Messenger ﷺ. Upon this Allah Messenger ﷺ said: Retain with you the flesh sufficing for three days ; and whatever is left out of that give in charity. After this. they the Muslims said: Allah Messenger; the people make waterskins with the hides of their sacrificed animals and they melt fat out of them. Thereupon he said. What the then? They said: You forbade us to eat the flesh of sacrificial animals beyond threoq days ; whereupon he said: I forbade you for those poor persons who flocked to the towns on this occasion for getting meat but now when this situation has improved you may eat; preserve and give -in charity. SahihMuslim-017-001-18129		It has been narrated on the authority of Anas that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ raided Khaibar. One morning we offered prayers in the darkness of early dawn near Khaibar. Then the Messenger of Allah ﷺ mounted his horse. Abu Talha mounted his and I mounted behind Abu Talha on the same horse. The Prophet of Allah ﷺ rode through the streets of Khaibar and I rode so close to him that my knee touched the thigh of the Prophet of Allah ﷺ. The wrapper got Aasi de from his thigh; and I could see its whiteness. When he entered the town; he said: God is Great. Khaibar shall face destruction. When we descend in the city-square of a people; it is a bad day for them who have been warned and have not taken heed. He said these words thrice. The people of the town had just come out from their houses to go about their jobs. They said in surprise : Muhammad has come. We captured Khaibar by force. He said: I intend to go to my brother in this town. He said: Have you done any favour to him the repayment of which you intend to get ? He said: No; excepting this that I love Mm for the sake of Allah; the Exalted and Glorious. Thereupon he said: I am a meesenger to you from; Allah: to inform you that Allah loves you as you love him for His sake. Malik said; If the imam gathers people for prayer while he is travelling in a town where the jumua prayer is not obligatory; then there is no jumua for him; nor for the people of the town; nor for anyone else who joins them for the prayer in congregation; and the people of the town and anyone else who is not travelling should complete the prayer.
