When he had finished the prayer with Taslim; he got up hurriedly and went out by crossing the rows of the people to one of the dwellings of his wives. The people got scared at his speed. The Prophet ﷺ came back and found the people surprised at his haste and said to them; I remembered a piece of gold Lying in my house and I did not like it to divert my attention from Allah worship; so I have ordered it to be distributed in charity.

    Narrated Uqba: One day the Prophet ﷺ went out and offered the funeral prayer for the people i.e. martyrs of Uhud as he used to offer a funeral prayer for any dead person; and then after returning he ascended the pulpit and said; I am your predecessor before you; and I am a witness upon you; and I am looking at my Tank just now; and I have been given the keys of the treasures of the world or the keys of the world. By Allah; I am not afraid that you will worship others besides Allah after me; but I am afraid that you will compete with each other for the pleasures of this world.

When he was nearing his death; he said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ married me to so-and-so; and I did not fix a dower for her; nor did I give anything to her. I call upon you as witness that I have given my share in Khaybar as her dower. So she took the share and sold it for one lakh of dirhams.Abu Dawud said: The version of Umar Bin AlKhattab added in the beginning of this tradition; and his version is more perfect. He reported the Messenger of Allah ﷺ as saying: The best marriage is the one that is most easy. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to the man. The narrator then transmitted the rest of the tradition to the same effect.Abu Dawud said: I am afraid this tradition has been added later on; for the matter is otherwise.

    Narrated Uqbah Ibn Amr AlAnsari: Salim AlBarrad said: We came to Abu Masud Uqbah Ibn Amr AlAnsari and said to him: Tell us about the prayer of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. He stood up before us in the Masjid and said the takbir. When he bowed; he placed his hands upon his knees and put his fingers below; and kept his elbows arms away from his sides; so everything returned properly to its place. Then he said: Allah listens to him who praises Him; then he stood up so that everything returned properly to its place; then he said the takbir and prostrated and put the palms of his hands on the ground; he kept his elbow arms away from his sides; so that everything returned to its proper place. Then he raised his head and sat so that everything returned to its place; he then repeated it in a similar way. Then he offered four rakahs of prayer like this rakah and completed his prayer. Then he said: Thus we witnessed the Messenger of Allah ﷺ offering his prayer.

I have lost my eyesight and I lead my people in the prayer as an Imam. When it rains; the valley which is between me and my people; flows with water; and then I cannot go to their Masjid to lead them in the prayer. O Allah Messenger ﷺ ! I wish that you could come and pray in my house so that I may take it as a praying place. The Prophet ﷺ said; Allah willing; I will do that. The next morning; soon after the sun had risen; Allah Messenger ﷺ came with Abu Bakr. The Prophet ﷺ asked for the permission to enter and I admitted him. The Prophet ﷺ had not sat till he had entered the house and said to me; Where do you like me to pray in your house? I pointed at a place in my house whereupon he stood and said; Allahu Akbar. We lined behind him and he prayed two rakat and finished it with Taslim. We then requested him to stay for a special meal of Khazira which we had prepared. A large number of men from the adjoining area gathered in the house. One of them said; Where is Malik Bin AlDukhshun? Another man said; He is a hypocrite and does not love Allah and His Apostle. The Prophet said; Do not say so. Do you not think that he has said: None has the right to be worshipped but Allah; seeking Allah pleasure? The man said; Allah and His Apostle know better; but we have always seen him mixing with hypocrites and giving them advice. The Prophet ﷺ said; Allah has forbidden the Hell Fire for those who testify that none has the right to be worshipped but Allah; seeking Allah pleasure.

    Narrated Urwa Bin AlMusaiyab Alqama Bin Waqqas and Ubaidullah Bin Abdullah: About the story of Aisha and their narrations were similar attesting each other; when the liars said what they invented about Aisha; and the Divine Inspiration was delayed; Allah Messenger ﷺ sent for Ali and Usama to consult them in divorcing his wife i.e. Aisha. Usama said; Keep your wife; as we know nothing about her except good. Buraira said; I cannot accuse her of any defect except that she is still a young girl who sleeps; neglecting her family dough which the domestic goats come to eat i.e. she was too simpleminded to deceive her husband. Allah Messenger ﷺ said; Who can help me to take revenge over the man who has harmed me by defaming the reputation of my family? By Allah; I have not known about my family-anything except good; and they mentioned i.e. accused a man about whom I did not know anything except good.

    Narrated Urwa Bin AlZubair and Saeed Bin AlMusaiyab: Hakim Bin Hizam said; Once I asked Allah Messenger ﷺ for something and he gave it to me. Again I asked and he gave it to me. Again I asked and he gave it to me. And then he said; O Hakim! This property is like a sweet fresh fruit; whoever takes it without greediness; he is blessed in it; and whoever takes it with greediness; he is not blessed in it; and he is like a person who eats but is never satisfied; and the upper giving hand is better than the lower receiving hand. Hakim added; I said to Allah Messenger ﷺ ; By Him Allah Who sent you with the Truth; I shall never accept anything from anybody after you; till I leave this world. Then Abu Bakr during his caliphate called Hakim to give him his share from the war booty like the other companions of the Prophet ﷺ ; he refused to accept anything. Then Umar during his caliphate called him to give him his share but he refused. On that Umar said; O Muslims! I would like you to witness that I offered Hakim his share from this booty and he refused to take it. So Hakim never took anything from anybody after the Prophet ﷺ till he died.

    Narrated Urwa Bin AlZubair: A lady committed theft during the lifetime of Allah Messenger ﷺ in the Ghazwa of AlFath; i.e. Conquest of Mecca. Her folk went to Usama Bin Zaid to intercede for her with the Prophet. When Usama interceded for her with Allah Messenger ﷺ ; the color of the face of Allah Messenger ﷺ changed and he said; Do you intercede with me in a matter involving one of the legal punishments prescribed by Allah? Usama said; O Allah Messenger ﷺ ! Ask Allah Forgiveness for me. So in the afternoon; Allah Apostle got up and addressed the people. He praised Allah as He deserved and then said; Amma badu ! The nations prior to you were destroyed because if a noble amongst them stole; they used to excuse him; and if a poor person amongst them stole; they would apply Allahs Legal Punishment to him. By Him in Whose Hand Muhammad soul is; if Fatima; the daughter of Muhammad stole; I would cut her hand. Then Allah Messenger ﷺ gave his order in the case of that woman and her hand was cut off. Afterwards her repentance proved sincere and she got married. Aisha said; That lady used to visit me and I used to convey her demands to Allah Messenger ﷺ.

    Narrated Urwa Bin AlZubair: A woman committed theft in the Ghazwa of the Conquest of Mecca and she was taken to the Prophet who ordered her hand to be cut off. Aisha said; Her repentance was perfect and she was married later and used to come to me after that and I would present her needs to Allah Messenger ﷺ.

    Narrated Urwa Bin AlZubair: Abdullah Bin AlZubair was the most beloved person to Aisha excluding the Prophet ﷺ and Abu Bakr; and he in his turn; was the most devoted to her; Aisha used not to withhold the money given to her by Allah; but she used to spend it in charity. Abdullah Bin AlZubair said; Aisha should be stopped from doing so. When Aisha heard this ; she said protestingly; Shall I be stopped from doing so? I vow that I will never talk to Abdullah Bin AlZubair. On that; Ibn AlZubair asked some people from Quraish and particularly the two uncles of Allah Messenger ﷺ to intercede with her; but she refused to talk to him. AlZuhriyun; the uncles of the Prophet; including Abdulrahman Bin AlAswad Bin Abd Yaghuth and AlMiswar Bin Makhrama said to him; When we ask for the permission to visit her; enter her house along with us without taking her leave. He did accordingly and she accepted their intercession. He sent her ten slaves whom she manumitted as an expiation for not keeping her vow. Aisha manumitted more slaves for the same purpose till she manumitted forty slaves. She said; I wish I had specified what I would have done in case of not fulfilling my vow when I made the vow; so that I might have done it easily.
