Hadith Text

It was narrated that Ibn Abbas said: "The Messenger of Allah designated Dh AlHulaifah as the Miqat for the people of AlMadinah; AlJuhfah for the people of Al Alsham ; Qarn for the people of Najd; and Yalamalam for the people of Yemen. He aid: "They are for them and for those who pass by them who are not of their people who intend to perform Hajj and Umrah. If a person place of residence is within the boundary of the Miqat; then he should enter into Ihram from where he starts his journey; and this also applies to the people of Makkah.
