Shall we make a pulpit for you? He replied; If you wish. So they made a pulpit for him and when it was Friday; he proceeded towards the pulpit for delivering the sermon. The datepalm cried like a child! The Prophet ﷺ descended the pulpit and embraced it while it continued moaning like a child being quietened. The Prophet ﷺ said; It was crying for missing what it used to hear of religious knowledge given near to it. SahihAlBukhari-017-001-4354		Narrated Aisha: Magic was worked on the Prophet ﷺ so that he began to fancy that he was doing a thing which he was not actually doing. One day he invoked Allah for a long period and then said; I feel that Allah has inspired me as how to cure myself. Two persons came to me in my dream and sat; one by my head and the other by my feet. One of them asked the other; What is the ailment of this man? The other replied; He has been bewitched The first asked; Who has bewitched him? The other replied; Lubaid Bin AlAsam. The first one asked; What material has he used? The other replied; A comb; the hair gathered on it; and the outer skin of the pollen of the male date-palm. The first asked; Where is that? The other replied; It is in the well of Dharwan. So; the Prophet ﷺ went out towards the well and then returned and said to me on his return; Its date-palms the date-palms near the well are like the heads of the devils. I asked; Did you take out those things with which the magic was worked? He said; No; for I have been cured by Allah and I am afraid that this action may spread evil amongst the people. SahihAlBukhari-017-001-4719		Narrated Ibn Umar: Later on Allah Messenger ﷺ once again went along with Ubai Bin Kaab to the garden of date-palms where Ibn saiyad was staying. When the Prophet entered the garden; he started hiding himself behind the trunks of the date-palms as he wanted to hear something from the Ibn saiyad before the latter could see him. Ibn saiyad was lying in his bed; covered with a velvet sheet from where his murmurs were heard. Ibn saiyad mother saw the Prophet ﷺ while he was hiding himself behind the trunks of the date-palms. She addressed Ibn saiyad ; O Saf! And this was his name. Ibn saiyad got up. The Prophet ﷺ said; Had this woman let him to himself; he would have revealed the reality of his case. Then the Prophet ﷺ got up amongst the people; glorifying Allah as He deserves; he mentioned AlDajjal; saying; I warn you about him i.e. AlDajjal and there is no prophet who did not warn his nation about him; and Noah warned his nation about him; but I tell you a statement which no prophet informed his nation of. SahihAlBukhari-017-001-4814		Narrated Ibn Shihab AlZuhri: Anas Bin Malik said; When the emigrants came Medina; they had nothing whereas the Ansar had land and property. SahihAlBukhari-017-001-934		Narrated Abdullah Bin Umar: In the lifetime of Allah Messenger ﷺ the Masjid was built of adobes; its roof of the leaves of date-palms and its pillars of the stems of date-palms. Abu Bakr did not alter it. Umar expanded it on the same pattern as it was in the lifetime of Allah Messenger ﷺ by using adobes; leaves of date-palms and changing the pillars into wooden ones. SahihMuslim-017-001-18066		It has been narrated on the authority of Anas Bin Malik who said: When the Muhajirs migrated from Mecca to Medina; they came in a state that they had not anything i. e. money in theirhands; while the Ansar possessed lands and date palms. They divided their properties with the Muhajirs. The Ansar divided and gave them on the condition that they would give half the fruit from the orchards every year; and the Muhajirs would recompense them by working with them and putting in labour. The mother of Anas Bin Malik was called Umm Sulaim and she was also the mother of Abdullah Bin Talha who was a brother of Anas from his mother side. The mother of Anas had given the Messenger of Allah ﷺ her date-palms. He bestowed them upon Umm Aiman; the slave-girl who had been freed by him and was the mother of Usama Bin Zaid. When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ had finished the war with the people of Khaibar and returned to Medina; the Muhajirs returned to the Ansar all the gifts which they had given them out of the fruits. Anas Bin Malik said: The Messenger of. Allah ﷺ returned to my mother her date-palms and gave to Umm Aiman instead of them date-palms from his orchard. Ibn Shihab says that Umm Aiman was the mother of Usama Bin Zaid who was the slave-girl of Abdullah Bin Abd AlMuttalib and hailed from Abyssinia. When Amina gave birth to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ after the death of his father; Umm Aiman used to nurse him until he grew up. He later on freed her and married her to Zaid Bin Haritha. SahihMuslim-017-001-20118		Urwa Bin AlZubair reported that Abdullah Bin AlZubair had narrated to him that a person from the Ansar disputed with AlZubair in the presence of Allah Messenger ﷺ in regard to the watering places of Harra from which they watered the date-palms. And Muhaqala implies that crops in the field are bought for grains according to a customary measure. Muzabana implies that date-palm should be sold for dry dates by measuring them with wisqs; and AlMukhabara is a share ; maybe one-third or one-fourth in produce or something like it. Zaid one of the narrators said to Ata Bin Abu Rabah the other narrator : Did You bear Jabir Bin Abdullah Allah be pleased with them making a mention of it that he had heard it directly from Allah Messenger ﷺ ? It was not long before Abu AlHaitham came along hauling to a large water-skin which he put down. Then he came to hug the Prophet ﷺ and uttered that his father and mother should be ransomed for him. Then he went to grove of his and he spread out a mat for them. Then he went to a date-palm and returned with a cluster of dates which he put down. The prophet s.a.w said: Why dont you select some ripe dates for us? He said: O Messenger of Allah s.a.w ! I wanted you to select from the ripe dates and the unripe dates. So they ate and they drank from that water. The Messenger of Allah s.a.w said: By the One in Whose Hand is my soul! This is among the favors which you shall be asked about on the Day Of Judgment. Cool shade; tasty ripe dates; and cool water. Abu AlHaitham left to prepare some food for them. The Prophet ﷺ said: Do not slaughter one with milk. So he Slaughtered a small female or male goat and brought it to them so they could eat it. The Prophet ﷺ said: Do you have any servants? He said: No. So he said: Then if we get some captives we shall bring them for you. So later the Prophet ﷺ came with 2 males; there was no third among them and he brought them to Abu AlHaitham. The Prophet ﷺ said: Choose from them. He said: O Prophet of Allah! Choose for me. So the Prophet ﷺ said: Indeed the one consulted is entrusted. Take this one for I have seen him praying; and encourage him to do well. So Abu AlHaitham went to his wife and informed her of what the Messenger of Allah s.a.w said. So his wife said: You will not fulfill what the Prophet ﷺ said until you have freed him. So he said: He is free. So the Prophet ﷺ said: Indeed Allah has not send a Prophet nor made a Khalifah except that he has two groups of supporters; group ordering him to do good; and prohibiting him from evil and a group that never ceases spoiling his affairs. SunanAbuDawoud-017-001-27430		Anas Bin Malik reported: Messenger of Allah ﷺ came over to Medina and encamped at the upper side of Medina among the tribe known as Banu Amr Bin Awuf. He stayed among them for fourteen days. He then sent someone to call Banu AlNajjar. They came to him hanging their swords from the necks. Anas then said: As if I am looking at the Messenger of Allah ﷺ sitting on his mount and Abu Bakr seated behind him; and Banu AlNajjar standing around him. He descended in the courtyard of Abu Ayoub. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ would say his prayer in the folds of the sheep and goats. He commanded us to build a Masjid. He then sent for Banu AlNajjar and said to them: Banu AlNajjar; sell this land of yours to me for some price. They replied: By Allah; we do not want any price from you except from Allah. Anas said: I tell what this land contained. It contained the graves of the disbelievers; dung-hills; and some trees of date-palm. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ commanded and the graves of the disbelievers were dug open; and the trees of the date-palm were cut off. The wood of the date-palm were erected in front of the Masjid ; the door-steps wre built of stone. They were reciting verses carrying the stones. The Prophet ﷺ also joined them in reciting verses saying: O Allah; there is no good except the good of the Hereafter. So grant you aid to the Ansar and the Muhajirah.
