SahihAlBukhari-017-001-2592 | Narrated Aisha: the wife of the Prophet that she was told that Abdullah Bin AlZubair on hearing that she was selling or giving something as a gift said; By Allah; if Aisha does not give up this; I will declare her incompetent to dispose of her wealth. I said; Did he Abdullah Bin AlZubair say so? They people said; Yes. Aisha said; I vow to Allah that I will never speak to Ibn AlZubair. When this desertion lasted long; Abdullah Bin AlZubair sought intercession with her; but she said; By Allah; I will not accept the intercession of anyone for him; and will not commit a sin by breaking my vow. When this state of affairs was prolonged on Ibn AlZubair he felt it hard on him ; he said to AlMiswar Bin Makhrama and Abdulrahman Bin AlAswad Bin Abu Yaghuth; who were from the tribe of Bani Zahra; I beseech you; by Allah; to let me enter upon Aisha; for it is unlawful for her to vow to cut the relation with me. So AlMiswar and Abdulrahman wrapping their sheets around themselves; asked Aisha permission saying; Peace and Allah Mercy and Blessings be upon you! Shall we come in? Aisha said; Come in. They said; All of us? She said; Yes; come in all of you; not knowing that Ibn AlZubair was also with them. So when they entered; Ibn AlZubair entered the screened place and got hold of Aisha and started requesting her to excuse him; and wept. AlMiswar and Abdulrahman also started requesting her to speak to him and to accept his repentance. They said to her ; The Prophet ﷺ forbade what you know of deserting not speaking to your Muslim Brethren ; for it is unlawful for any Muslim not to talk to his brother for more than three nights days. So when they increased their reminding her of the superiority of having good relation with Kith and kin; and of excusing others sins ; and brought her down to a critical situation; she started reminding them; and wept; saying; I have made a vow; and the question of vow is a difficult one. They AlMiswar and Abdulrahman persisted in their appeal till she spoke with Abdullah Bin AlZubair and she manumitted forty slaves as an expiation for her vow. Later on; whenever she remembered her vow; she used to weep so much that her veil used to become wet with her tears. | The Chapter on Obligations Towards Expiatory in HodHood Indexing, Chapter on AlHijra in Sahih AlBukhari

SahihMuslim-017-001-17461 | Shaibani reported: I asked Abdullah Bin Abu Aufa about the lawfulness or unlawfulness of the flesh of the domestic asses. He said: We experienced hunger on the Day of Khaibar as we were with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. We found domestic asses in the exterior of Medina. We slaughtered them and our earthen pots were boiling when the announcer of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ made an announcement that the earthen pots should be turned upside down and nothing of the flesh of the domestic asses should be eaten. I said: What kind of prohibition is it that he the Holy Prophet has made? He said: We discussed it amongst -ourselves. Some of us aaid that it has been declared unlawful for ever; whereas others said it has been declared unlawful since one-fifth of the booty has not been given to the treasury; as is legally required. | The Chapter on Animal Sacrifice Domestic Donkeys in HodHood Indexing, Chapter on 5 in Sahih Muslim
SahihMuslim-017-001-17491 | Yazid Bin AlAsamm reported: A newly wedded person of Medina invited us to a wedding feast; and he served us thirteen lizards. There were those who ate it and those who abandoned it. I met Ibn Abbas the next day; and informed him about this in the presence of many persons. Some of them said that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ had observed: I neither eat it nor forbid anyone from eating it; nor declare it to be unlawful. Thereupon Ibn Abbas said: Sad it is what you say! Allah Apostle ﷺ has not been sent; but to declare in clear words the lawful and the unlawful things. We were once with Allah Messenger may peace be. upon him as he was with Maimuna; and there were with him AlFadl Bin Abbas; Khalid Bin Walid and some women also when a tray of food containing flesh was presented to him. As Allah Apostle ﷺ was about to eat that; Maimuna said: It is the flesh of the lizard. He withdrew his hand saying: That is the flesh which I never eat; but he said to them those who were present there : You may eat. AlFadl ate out of that; so did Khalid b Walid; and the women. Maimuna however said: I do not eat anything but that which Allah Messenger ﷺ eats. | The Chapter on Boiling Drinks in HodHood Indexing, Chapter on 7 in Sahih Muslim
SahihMuslim-017-001-18337 | Numan Bin Bashir Allah be pleased with him reported: I heard Allah Messenger ﷺ n as having said this and Numan pointed towards his ears with his fingers : What is lawful is evident and what is unlawful is evident; and in between them are the things doubtful which many people do not know. So he who guards against doubtful things keeps his religion and honour blameless; and he who indulges in doubtful things indulges in fact in unlawful things; just as a shepherd who pastures his animals round a preserve will soon pasture them in it. Beware; every king has a preserve; and the things God his declaced unlawful are His preserves. Beware; in the body there is a piece of flesh; if it is sound; the whole body is sound and if it is corrupt the whole body is corrupt; and hearken it is the heart. | The Chapter on Communication And Answers in HodHood Indexing, Chapter on 20 in Sahih Muslim

My servants; all of you are liable to err except one whom I guide on the right path; so seek right guidance from Me so that I should direct you to the right path. O My servants; all of you are hungry needy except one whom I feed; so beg food from Me; so that I may give that to you. O My servants; all of you are naked need clothes except one whom I provide garments; so beg clothes from Me; so that I should clothe you. O My servants; you commit error night and day and I am there to pardon your sins; so beg pardon from Me so that I should grant you pardon. O My servants; you can neither do Me any harm nor can you do Me any good. O My servants; even if the first amongst you and the last amongst you and even the whole of human race of yours; and that of jinns even; become equal in God-conscious like the heart of a single person amongst you; nothing would add to My Power. O My servants; even if the first amongst you and the last amongst you and the whole human race of yours and that of the Jinns too in unison become the most wicked all beating like the heart of a single person; it would cause no loss to My Power. O My servants; even if the first amongst you and the last amongst you and the whole human race of yours and that of jinns also all stand in one plain ground and you ask Me and I confer upon every person what he asks for; it would not. in any way; cause any loss to Me even less than that which is caused to the ocean by dipping the needle in it. My servants; these for you I shall reward you for thern; so he who deeds of yours which I am recording finds good should praise Allah and he who does not find that should not blame anyone but his ownself. And He said: O those who believe; eat of the good things that We gave you ii. 172. He then made a mention of a person who travels widely; his hair disheveled and covered with dust. And the people performed Tamattu in the company of Allah Messenger ﷺ. They put on Ihram for Umra first and then for Hajj. Some of them had sacrificial animals which they had brought with them; whereas some of them had none to sacrifice. So when Allah Messenger ﷺ came to Mecca; he said to the people: He who amongst you has brought sacrificial animals along with him must not treat as lawful anything which has become unlawful for him till he has completed the Hajj; and he; who amongst you has not brought the sacrificial animals should circumambulate the House; and run between AlSafa and AlMarwa and clip his hair and put off the Ihram; and then again put on the Ihram for Hajj and offer sacrifice of animals. The Apostle of Allaah ﷺ first raised his voice in talbiyah for Umrah and afterwards he did so for Hajj; and the people along with the Apostle of Allaah ﷺ did it first for Umrah and afterwards for Hajj. Some of the people had brought sacrificial animals and others had not; so when the Apostle of Allaah ﷺ came to Makkah ; he said to the people. Those of you who have brought sacrificial animals must not treat as lawful anything which has become unlawful for you till you complete your Hajj; but those of you who have not brought sacrificial animals should go round the House Kabah and run between AlSafa and AlMarwah; clip their hair; put off ihram; and afterwards raise their voice in talbiyah for Hajj and bring sacrificial animals. Those who cannot get sacrificial animals should fast three days during Hajj and seven days when they return to their families. The Apostle of Allaah ﷺ then performed circumambulation when he came to Makkah first touching the corner then running during three circuits out of seven and walking during four and when he had finished his circumambulation of the House Kabah he prayed two rakahs at Maqam Ibrahim; then giving the salutation and departing he went to AlSafa and ran seven times between AlSafa and AlMarwah. After that he did not treat anything as lawful which had become unlawful for him till he had completed his Hajj; sacrificed his animals on the day of sacrifice; went quickly and performed the circumambulation of the House the Kabah ; after which all that had been unlawful became lawful for him.
