Enter not the Prophet's houses, - until leave is given you, - for a meal, (and then) not (so early as) to wait for its preparation: but when ye are invited, enter; and when ye have taken your meal, disperse, without seeking familiar talk. Such (behaviour) annoys the Prophet: he is ashamed to dismiss you, but Allah is not ashamed (to tell you) the truth. And when ye ask (his ladies) for anything ye want, ask them from before a screen: that makes for greater purity for your hearts and for theirs. Nor is it right for you that ye should annoy Allah's Messenger, or that ye should marry his widows after him at any time. Truly such a thing is in Allah's sight an enormity.

SahihAlBukhari-017-001-1070 | Narrated Ata Bin Yazid AlLaithi: On the authority of Abu Huraira: The people said; O Allah Messenger ﷺ ! Shall we see our Lord on the Day of Resurrection? The Prophet ﷺ said; Do you have any difficulty in seeing the moon on a full moon night? They said; No; O Allah Messenger ﷺ. He said; Do you have any difficulty in seeing the sun when there are no clouds? They said; No; O Allah Messenger ﷺ. He said; So you will see Him; like that. Allah will gather all the people on the Day of Resurrection; and say; Whoever worshipped something in the world should follow that thing ; so; whoever worshipped the sun will follow the sun; and whoever worshiped the moon will follow the moon; and whoever used to worship certain other false deities; he will follow those deities. And there will remain only this nation with its good people or its hypocrites. The sub-narrator; Ibrahim is in doubt. Allah will come to them and say; I am your Lord. They will deny Him and say; We will stay here till our Lord comes; for when our Lord comes; we will recognize Him. So Allah will come to them in His appearance which they know; and will say; I am your Lord. They will say; You are our Lord; so they will follow Him. Then a bridge will be laid across Hell Fire I and my followers will be the first ones to go across it and none will speak on that Day except the Apostles. And the invocation of the Apostles on that Day will be; O Allah; save! Save! In Hell or over The Bridge there will be hooks like the thorns of AlSadan thorny plant. Have you seen AlSadan? They replied; Yes; O Allah Messenger ﷺ ! He said; So those hooks look like the thorns of AlSadan; but none knows how big they are except Allah. Those hooks will snap the people away according to their deeds. Some of the people will stay in Hell be destroyed because of their evil deeds; and some will be cut or torn by the hooks and fall into Hell and some will be punished and then relieved. When Allah has finished His Judgments among the people; He will take whomever He will out of Hell through His Mercy. He will then order the angels to take out of the Fire all those who used to worship none but Allah from among those whom Allah wanted to be merciful to and those who testified in the world that none has the right to be worshipped but Allah. The angels will recognize them in the Fire by the marks of prostration on their foreheads ; for the Fire will eat up all the human body except the mark caused by prostration as Allah has forbidden the Fire to eat the mark of prostration. They will come out of the Hell Fire; completely burnt and then the water of life will be poured over them and they will grow under it as does a seed that comes in the mud of the torrent. Then Allah will finish the judgments among the people; and there will remain one man facing the Hell Fire and he will be the last person among the people of Hell to enter Paradise. He will say; O my Lord! Please turn my face away from the fire because its air has hurt me and its severe heat has burnt me. So he will invoke Allah in the way Allah will wish him to invoke; and then Allah will say to him; If I grant you that; will you then ask for anything else? He will reply; No; by Your Power; Honor I will not ask You for anything else. He will give his Lord whatever promises and covenants Allah will demand. So Allah will turn his face away from Hell Fire. When he will face Paradise and will see it; he will remain quiet for as long as Allah will wish him to remain quiet; then he will say; O my Lord! Bring me near to the gate of Paradise. Allah will say to him; Didnt you give your promises and covenants that you would never ask for anything more than what you had been given? Woe on you; O Adam son! How treacherous you are! He will say; O my lord; and will keep on invoking Allah till He says to him; If I give what you are asking; will you then ask for anything else? He will reply; No; by Your Honor Power; I will not ask for anything else. Then he will give covenants and promises to Allah and then Allah will bring him near to the gate of Paradise. When he stands at the gate of Paradise; Paradise will be opened and spread before him; and he will see its splendor and pleasures whereupon he will remain quiet as long as Allah will wish him to remain quiet; and then he will say; O my Lord! Admit me into Paradise. Allah will say; Didnt you give your covenants and promises that you would not ask for anything more than what you had been given? Allah will say; Woe on you; O Adam son! How treacherous you are! The man will say; O my Lord! Do not make me the most miserable of Your creation; and he will keep on invoking Allah till Allah will laugh because of his sayings; and when Allah will laugh because of him; He will say to him; Enter Paradise; and when he will enter it; Allah will say to him; Wish for anything. So he will ask his Lord; and he will wish for a great number of things; for Allah Himself will remind him to wish for certain things by saying; Wish for so-and-so. When there is nothing more to wish for; Allah will say; This is for you; and its equal is for you as well. Ata Bin Yazid added: Abu Saeed AlKhudri who was present with Abu Huraira; did not deny whatever the latter said; but when Abu Huraira said that Allah had said; That is for you and its equal as well; Abu Saeed AlKhudri said; And ten times as much; O Abu Huraira! Abu Huraira said; I do not remember; except his saying; That is for you and its equal as well. Abu Saeed AlKhudri then said; I testify that I remember the Prophet ﷺ saying; That is for you; and ten times as much. Abu Huraira then added; That man will be the last person of the people of Paradise to enter Paradise. | The Chapter on Worship To Save Oneself From Hell Fire in HodHood Indexing, Chapter on Some faces that Day shall be Nadirah Looking at their Lord in Sahih AlBukhari
SahihAlBukhari-017-001-1072 | Narrated Anas: The Prophet ﷺ said; The believers will be kept waiting on the Day of Resurrection so long that they will become worried and say; Let us ask somebody to intercede far us with our Lord so that He may relieve us from our place. Then they will go to Adam and say; You are Adam; the father of the people. Allah created you with His Own Hand and made you reside in His Paradise and ordered His angels to prostrate before you; and taught you the names of all things will you intercede for us with your Lord so that He may relieve us from this place of ours? Adam will say; I am not fit for this undertaking. He will mention his mistakes he had committed; i.e.; his eating off the tree though he had been forbidden to do so. He will add; Go to Noah; the first prophet sent by Allah to the people of the Earth. The people will go to Noah who will say; I am not fit for this undertaking He will mention his mistake which he had done; i.e.; his asking his Lord without knowledge. He will say to them ; Go to Abraham; Khalil AlRahman. They will go to Abraham who will say; I am not fit for this undertaking. He would mention three words by which he told a lie; and say to them. Go to Moses; a slave whom Allah gave the Torah and spoke to; directly and brought near Him; for conversation. They will go to Moses who will say; I am not fit for this undertaking. He will mention his mistake he made; i.e.; killing a person; and will say to them ; Go to Jesus; Allah slave and His Apostle; and a soul created by Him and His Word. Be: And it was. They will go to Jesus who will say; I am not fit for this undertaking but youd better go to Muhammad the slave whose past and future sins have been forgiven by Allah. So they will come to me; and I will ask my Lord permission to enter His House and then I will be permitted. When I see Him I will fall down in prostration before Him; and He will leave me in prostration as long as He will; and then He will say; O Muhammad; lift up your head and speak; for you will be listened to; and intercede; for your intercession will be accepted; and ask for anything for it will be granted: Then I will raise my head and glorify my Lord with certain praises which He has taught me. Allah will put a limit for me to intercede for a certain type of people I will take them out and make them enter Paradise. Qatada said: I heard Anas saying that ; the Prophet ﷺ said; I will go out and take them out of Hell Fire and let them enter Paradise; and then I will return and ask my Lord for permission to enter His House and I will be permitted. When I will see Him I will fall down in prostration before Him and He will leave me in prostration as long as He will let me in that state ; and then He will say; O Muhammad; raise your head and speak; for you will be listened to; and intercede; for your intercession will be accepted; and ask; your request will be granted. The Prophet ﷺ added; So I will raise my head and glorify and praise Him as He has taught me. Then I will intercede and He will put a limit for me to intercede for a certain type of people. I will take them out and let them enter Paradise. Qatada added: I heard Anas saying that the Prophet said; I will go out and take them out of Hell Fire and let them enter Paradise; and I will return for the third time and will ask my Lord for permission to enter His house; and I will be allowed to enter. When I see Him; I will fall down in prostration before Him; and will remain in prostration as long as He will; and then He will say; Raise your head; O Muhammad; and speak; for you will be listened to; and intercede; for your intercession will be accepted; and ask; for your request will be granted. So I will raise my head and praise Allah as He has taught me and then I will intercede and He will put a limit for me to intercede for a certain type of people. I will take them out and let them enter Paradise. SahihAlBukhari-017-001-1086 | Narrated Abdullah Bin Masud: Allah Messenger ﷺ the true and truly inspired; narrated to us; The creation of everyone of you starts with the process of collecting the material for his body within forty days and forty nights in the womb of his mother. Then he becomes a clot of thick blood for a similar period 40 days and then he becomes like a piece of flesh for a similar period. Then an angel is sent to him by Allah and the angel is allowed ordered to write four things; his livelihood; his date of death; his deeds; and whether he will be a wretched one or a blessed one in the Hereafter and then the soul is breathed into him. So one of you may do good deeds characteristic of the people of Paradise so much that there is nothing except a cubit between him and Paradise but then what has been written for him decides his behavior and he starts doing evil deeds characteristic of the people of Hell Fire and ultimately enters Hell Fire ; and one of you may do evil deeds characteristic of the people of Hell Fire so much so that there is nothing except a cubit between him and Hell Fire ; then what has been written for him decides his behavior and he starts doing good deeds characteristic of the people of Paradise and ultimately enters Paradise. So they collected wood and made a fire; but when they were about to throw themselves into; it they started looking at each other; and some of them said; We followed the Prophet ﷺ to escape from the fire. How should we enter it now? So while they were in that state; the fire extinguished and their commander anger abated. SahihAlBukhari-017-001-1367 | Narrated Abu Mousa AlAshari: The Prophet ﷺ went out to one of the gardens of Medina for some business and I went out to follow him. When he entered the garden; I sat at its gate and said to myself; To day I will be the gatekeeper of the Prophet though he has not ordered me. The Prophet ﷺ went and finished his need and went to sit on the constructed edge of the well and uncovered his legs and hung them in the well. In the meantime Abu Bakr came and asked permission to enter. I said to him ; Wait till I get you permission. Abu Bakr waited outside and I went to the Prophet ﷺ and said; O Allah Prophet! Abu Bakr asks your permission to enter. He said; Admit him; and give him the glad tidings of entering Paradise. So Abu Bakr entered and sat on the right side of the Prophet ﷺ and uncovered his legs and hung them in the well. Then Umar came and I said to him ; Wait till I get you permission. The Prophet ﷺ said; Admit him and give him the glad tidings of entering Paradise. So Umar entered and sat on the left side of the Prophet and uncovered his legs and hung them in the well so that one side of the well became fully occupied and there remained no place for any-one to sit. Then Uthman came and I said to him ; Wait till I get permission for you. The Prophet ﷺ said; Admit him and give him the glad tidings of entering Paradise with a calamity which will befall him. When he entered; he could not find any place to sit with them so he went to the other edge of the well opposite them and uncovered his legs and hung them in the well. Others said; His eyes are sleeping but his heart is awake. Then they said; There is an example for this companion of yours. One of them said; Then set forth an example for him. Some of them said; He is sleeping. The others said; His eyes are sleeping but his heart is awake. Then they said; His example is that of a man who has built a house and then offered therein a banquet and sent an inviter messenger to invite the people. So whoever accepted the invitation of the inviter; entered the house and ate of the banquet; and whoever did not accept the invitation of the inviter; did not enter the house; nor did he eat of the banquet. Then the angels said; Interpret this example to him so that he may understand it. Some of them said; He is sleeping. The others said; His eyes are sleeping but his heart is awake. And then they said; The houses stands for Paradise and the call maker is Muhammad; and whoever obeys Muhammad; obeys Allah; and whoever disobeys Muhammad; disobeys Allah. Umar allowed them. So they entered; greeted; and sat down. After a while the gatekeeper came and said; Shall I admit Ali and Abbas? Umar allowed them to enter. AlAbbas said O Chief of the believers! Judge between me and the oppressor Ali. Then there was a dispute regarding the property of Bani Nadir between them Abbas and Ali. Uthman and his companions said; O Chief of the Believers! Judge between them and relieve one from the other. Umar said; Be patient! beseech you by Allah; with Whose permission the Heaven and the Earth Exist! Do you know that Allah Messenger ﷺ said; Our property is not to be inherited; and whatever we leave is to be given in charity; and by this Allah Messenger ﷺ meant himself? On that the group said; He verily said so. Umar then faced Ali and Abbas and said; I beseech you both by Allah; do you both know that Allah Messenger ﷺ said so? They both replied; Yes. Umar then said; Now I am talking to you about this matter in detail. Allah favored Allah Messenger ﷺ with some of this wealth which He did not give to anybody else; as Allah said: What Allah bestowed as Fai Booty on His Apostle for which you made no expedition... 59.6 So that property was totally meant for Allah Messenger ﷺ ; yet he did not collect it and ignore you; nor did he withhold it with your exclusion; but he gave it to you and distributed it among you till this much of it was left behind; and the Prophet; used to spend of this as the yearly expenditures of his family and then take what remained of it and spent it as he did with other Allah wealth. The Prophet ﷺ did so during all his lifetime; and I beseech you by Allah; do you know that? They replied; Yes. Umar then addressed Ali and Abbas; saying; I beseech you both by Allah; do you know that? Both of them replied; Yes. Umar added; Then Allah took His Apostle unto Him. Abu Bakr then said I am the successor of Allah Messenger ﷺ and took over all the Prophet property and disposed of it in the same way as Allah Messenger ﷺ used to do; and you were present then. Then he turned to Ali and Abbas and said; You both claim that Abu Bakr did so-and-so in managing the property; but Allah knows that Abu Bakr was honest; righteous; intelligent; and a follower of what is right in managing it. Then Allah took Abu Bakr unto Him; I said: I am the successor of Allah Messenger ﷺ and Abu Bakr. So I took over the property for two years and managed it in the same way as Allah Messenger ﷺ ; and Abu Bakr used to do. Then you both Ali and Abbas came to me and asked for the same thing! O Abbas! You came to me to ask me for your share from nephew property; and this Ali came to me asking for his wives share from her father property; and I said to you both; If you wish; I will place it in your custody on condition that you both will manage it in the same way as Allah Messenger ﷺ and Abu Bakr did and as I have been doing since I took charge of managing it; otherwise; do not speak to me anymore about it. Then you both said; Give it to us on that condition. So I gave it to you on that condition. Now I beseech you by Allah; did I not give it to them on that condition? The group whom he had been addressing replied; Yes. Umar then addressed Abbas and Ali saying; I beseech you both by Allah; didnt I give you all that property on that condition? They said; Yes. Umar then said; Are you now seeking a verdict from me other than that? By Him with Whose Permission the Heaven and the Earth exists I will not give any verdict other than that till the Hour is established; and if you both are unable to manage this property; then you can hand it back to me; and I will be sufficient for it on your behalf. When Umar came to know about it he said to Abu Mousa; Why did you not enter?. Abu Mousa replied; I asked permission three times; and I was not given it; so I returned; for Allah Messenger ﷺ said; If anyone of you asks the permission to enter thrice; and the permission is not given; then he should return. Umar said; By Allah! We will ask Abu Mousa to bring witnesses for it. Abu Mousa went to a gathering of the Ansar and said. Did anyone of you hear this from the Prophet ﷺ ? SahihAlBukhari-017-001-1993 | Narrated Aisha: Allah Messenger ﷺ used to like sweets and also used to like honey; and whenever he finished the Asr prayer; he used to visit his wives and stay with them. Once he visited Hafsa and remained with her longer than the period he used to stay; so I enquired about it. It was said to me; A woman from her tribe gave her a leather skin containing honey as a present; and she gave some of it to Allah Messenger ﷺ to drink. I said; By Allah; we will play a trick on him. So I mentioned the story to Sauda the wife of the Prophet and said to her; When he enters upon you; he will come near to you whereupon you should say to him; O Allah Messenger ﷺ ! Have you eaten Maghafir? He will say; No. Then you say to him; What is this bad smell? And it would be very hard on Allah Messenger ﷺ that a bad smell should be found on his body. He will say; Hafsa has given me a drink of honey. Then you should say to him; Its bees must have sucked from the AlUrfut a foul smelling flower. I too; will tell him the same. And you; O Saifya; say the same. So when the Prophet ﷺ entered upon Sauda the following happened. Sauda said; By Him except Whom none has the right to be worshipped; I was about to say to him what you had told me to say while he was still at the gate because of fear from you. But when Allah Apostle came near to me; I said to him; O Allah Messenger ﷺ ! Have you eaten Maghafir? He replied; No. I said; What about this smell? He said; Hafsa has given me a drink of honey. I said; Its bees must have sucked AlUrfut. When he entered upon me; I told him the same as that; and when he entered upon Safiya; she too told him the same. SahihMuslim-017-001-17699 | It has been reported on the authority of Ibn Umar who said: I entered the apartment of my sister Hafsa. She said: Do yoa know that your father is not going to nominate his successor? I said: He wont do that i. e. he would nominate. She said: He is going to do that. The narrator said: I took an oath that I will talk to him about the matter. I kept quiet until the next morning; still I did not talk to him; and I felt as if I were carryint; a mountain on my right hand. At last I came to him and entered his apartment. Seeing me he began to ask me about the condition of the people; and I informed him about them. Then I said to him: I heard something from the people and took an oath that I will communicate it to you. They presume that you are not going to nominate a successor. If a grazer of camels and sheep that you had appointed comes back to you leaving the cattle; you will certainly think that the cattle are lost. To look after the people is more serious and grave. The dying Caliph was moved at my words. He bent his head in a thoughtful mood for some time and raised it to me and said: God will doubtlessly protect His religion. If I do not nominate a successor I have a precedent before me ; for the Messenger of Allah ﷺ did not nominate his successor. And if I nominate one I have a precedent ; for Abu Bakr did nominate. Some of us began to set right their tents; others began to compete with one another in shooting; and others began to graze their beasts; when an announcer of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ announced that the people should gather together for prayer; so we gathered around the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. He said: It was the duty of every Prophet that has gone before me to guide his followers to what he knew was good for them and warn them against what he knew was bad for them; but this Umma of yours has its days of peace and security in the beginning of its career; and in the last phase of its existence it will be afflicted with trials and with things disagreeable to you. In this phase of the Umma ; there will be tremendous trials one after the other; each making the previous one dwindle into insignificance. When they would be afflicted with a trial; the believer would say: This is going to bring about my destruction. When at the trial is over; they would be afflicted with another trial; and the believer would say: This surely is going to be my end. Whoever wishes to be delivered from the fire and enter the garden should die with faith in Allah and the Last Day and should treat the people as he wishes to be treated by them. He who swears allegiance to a Caliph should give him the piedge of his hand and the sincerity of his heart i. e. submit to him both outwardly as well as inwardly. He entered my place and offered prayer at my residence and his Companions began to talk amongst themselves and this conversation centered round hypocrites ; and then the conspicuous one; Malik Bin Dukhshum was made the target and they wished that he the Holy Prophet should curse him and he should die or he should meet some calamity. In the meanwhile the Messenger of Allah may peace and blessings be upon him completed his prayer and said: Does Malik Bin Dukhshum not testify the fact that there is no god but Allah and verily I am the messenger of Allah. They replied: He makes a profession of it no doubt but does not do it out of sincere heart. He the reporter said: Allah instilled faith in their hearts and He revealed this verse: Allah burdens not a soul beyond its capacity. SahihMuslim-017-001-18656 | Hudhaifa reported: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ narrated to us two ahadith. I have seen one crystallized into reality ; and I am waiting for the other. He told us: Trustworthiness descended in the innermost root of the hearts of people. Then the Quran was revealed and they learnt from the Quran and they learnt from the Sunnah. Then he the Holy Prophet told us about the removal of trustworthiness. He said: The man would have a wink of sleep and trustworthiness would be taken away from his heart leaving the impression of a faint mark. He would again sleep and trustworthiness would be taken away from his heart leaving an impression of a blister; as if you rolled down an ember on your foot and it was vesicled. He would see a swelling having nothing in it. He the Holy Prophet then took up a pebble and rolled it down over his foot and said : The people would enter into transactions amongst one another and hardly a person would be left who would return things entrusted to him. And there would be so much paucity of honest persons till it would be said: There in such a such tribe is a trustworthy man. And they would also say about a person: How prudent he is; how broad-minded he is and how intelligent he is; whereas in his heart there would not be faith even to the weight of a mustard seed. I have passed through a time in which I did not care with whom amongst you I entered into a transaction; for if he were a Muslim his faith would compel him to discharge his obligations to me and it he were a Christian or a Jew; the ruler would compel him to discharge his obligations to me. But today I would not enter into a transaction with you except so and so. | The Chapter on Family And Judgments in HodHood Indexing, Chapter on 64 in Sahih Muslim
SahihMuslim-017-001-18705 | Anas Bin Malik reported on the authority of Malik Bin Sa sa; perhaps a person of his tribe; that the Prophet of Allah ﷺ said: I was near the House i. e. Kabah in a state between sleep and wakefulness when I heard someone say: He is the third among the two persons. Then he came to me and took me with him. Then a golden basin containing the water of Zamzam was brought to me and my heart was opened up to such and such part. Qatada said: I asked him who was with me i e. the narrator and what he meant by such and such part. He replied: It means that it was opened up to the lower part of his abdomen Then the hadith continues : My heart was extracted and it was washed with the water of Zamzam and then it was restored in its original position; after which it was filled with faith and wisdom. I was then brought a white beast which is called AlBuraq; bigger than a donkey and smaller than a mule. Its stride was as long as the eye could reach. I was mounted on it; and then we went forth till we reached the lowest heaven. Gabriel asked for the gate to be opened; and it was said: Who is he? He replied: Gabriel. It was again said: Who is with thee? He replied: Muhammad ﷺ. It was said: Has he been sent for? He Gabriel said: Yes. He the Prophet said: Then the gate was opened for us and it was said : Welcome unto him! His is a blessed arrival. Then we came to Adam ﷺ. And he the narrator narrated the whole account of the hadith. The Holy Prophet observed that he met Jesus in the second heaven; Yahya peace be on both of them in the third heaven; Yousif in the third; Idris in the fourth; Harun in the fifth peace and blessings of Allah be upon them. Then we travelled on till we reached the sixth heaven and came to Moses ﷺ and I greeted him and he said: Welcome unto righteous brother and righteous prophet. And when I passed by him he wept; and a voice was heard saying: What makes thee weep? He said: My Lord; he is a young man whom Thou hast sent after me as a prophet and his followers will enter Paradise in greater numbers than my followers. Then we travelled on till we reached the seventh heaven and I came to Ibrahim. He the narrator narrat- ed in this hadith that the Prophet of Allah ﷺ told that he saw four rivers which flowed from the root of the lote-tree of the farthest limits : two manifest rivers and two hidden rivers. I said: Gabriel! what are these rivers? He replied: The two hidden rivers are the rivers of Paradise; and as regards the two manifest ones; they are the Nile and the Euphrates. Then the Bait AlMamur was raised up to me. I said: O Gabriel! what is this? He replied: It is the Bait AlMamur. Seventy thousand angels enter into it daily and; after they come out; they never return again. Two vessels were then brought to me. The first one contained wine and the second one contained milk; and both of them were placed before me. I chose milk. It was said: You did right. Allah will guide rightly through you your Ummah on the natural course. Then fifty prayers daily were made obligatory for me. And then he narrated the rest of the hadith to the end. | The Chapter on Heaven Gabriel Moses And Abraham in HodHood Indexing, Chapter on 74 in Sahih Muslim

SunanAlTermithi-017-001-10055 | Narrated Saeed Bin Jubair: I was asked about those who were involved in the case of Lian and if they are to be separated; during the leadership of mousab Bin AlZubair. I did not know what to say. So I went to the house of Abdullah Bin Umar and I sought permission to enter. I was told he was taking a nap; but he heard me taking and he said: Is it Ibn Jubair? Enter. You would not have come except for a need. He said: So I entered and found him laying on a saddlecloth from his mount. I said: O Abu Abdulrahman Are those involved in Lian separated? He said: Glorious is Allah! Yes. The first who asked about hat was so-and-so the son of so-and-so. He came to the Prophet ﷺ and said O Messenger of Allah! If one of us saw his wife committing adultery; what should he do? If he were to say anything; his statement would be a horrible matter; and if he were to remain silent; his silence about the matter would be horrible. He said: So the Prophet ﷺ remained silent and did not answer him. Afterwards he came to the Prophet ﷺ and said: The one who asked you about it has been tried by it. So Allah revealed these Ayat from Surat AlNur: And those who accuse their wives and have no witnesses except themselves; let the testimony of one of them be four testimonies by Allah 24:6-10 - until the end of those Ayat. He said: So he called for the man and recited the Ayat to him and admonished him; reminded him; and he told him: Indeed the punishment of the world is less than the punishment of the Hereafter. So he said: Nay! By the One Who sent you with the Truth! I did not lie about her. Then he ﷺ did the same with the woman; admonishing her and reminding her and he told her: Indeed the punishment of the world is less than the punishment of the Hereafter. She said: Nay! By the One Who sent you with the Truth! He is not telling the truth. He said: So he started with the man: He testified four times; by Allah that he is one of the truthful; and the fifth time that the curse of Allah be upon him if he was one of the liars. Then the same with the woman: She testified four times by Allah; that he was one of the liars; and the fifth time that the wrath of Allah be upon her if he was one of the truthful. SunanAlTermithi-017-001-10095 | Narrated AlJad Bin Abi Uthman: from Anas Bin Malik: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ got married; and he went in with his wife. He said: So my mother; Umm Sulaim prepared some Hais in a Tawr a vessel made of brass and stone and said: O Anas! Take this to the Prophet ﷺ. I said to him: My mother sent this to you; and she conveys her Salam; and says: This is a little something from us for you. He said: Put it down. Then he said: Go and invite so-and-so; so-and-so; and so-and-so for me; and whomever you meet. He named some people; and said: I invited those he named; and whomever I met. - He AlJad said: I said to Anas: How many of you were there? He said: Roughly about three-hundred. - He Anas said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to me: O Anas! Bring me the Tawr. He said: They entered until the Suffah a shaded part of the Masjid in AlMadinah and the apartment were full. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: Let groups of ten in; and let each person eat what is near him. He said: They ate until they were full. He said: A group exited; and another group entered; until all of them ate. He said: He said to me: O Anas! Remove it. He said: So I took it. I could not tell if there was more when I first put it down; or when I picked it up. He said: Groups of them sat talking in the house of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ ; while the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and his wife sat facing the wall. They began to be burdensome on the Messenger of Allah ﷺ ; so the Messenger of Allah ﷺ went out to greet his women folk; then he returned; they realized that they had overburdened him; so they hastened for the gate and all of them exited. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ came until he lowered the curtain; and entered while I was sitting in the apartment. He did not remain there long before he left me; and these Ayat were revealed. So the Messenger of Allah ﷺ went out to recite them to the people: O you who believe! Do not enter the Prophet house unless permission is given to you for a meal; not to wait for its preparation. But when you are invited; enter; and when you have taken your meals; dispense without sitting for a talk. Verily; such annoys the Prophet... till the end of the Ayah 33:53 AlJad said: Anas said: I am the earliest of the people to encounter these Ayat; and to be screened from the wives of the Prophet ﷺ. | The Chapter on Entering in HodHood Indexing, The Book of Chapters on Tafsir in Sunan AlTermithi

She asked permission to enter when he was lying with me under my cover. He gave her permission to enter; and she said: O Messenger of Allah; your wives have sent me to you to ask you to be equitable with regard to the matter of the daughter of Abu Quhafah. Go back to the Messenger of Allah and say to him: Your wives are urging you to be equitable with regard to the matter of the daughter of Abu Quhafah. Fatimah said: No; by Allah; I will never speak to him about her again. Aisha said: So the wives of the Prophet sent Zainab bint Jahsh to the Messenger of Allah; she was one who was somewhat equal to me in rank in the eyes of the Messenger of Allah. And I have never seen a woman who was better in religious commitment than Zainab; more fearing of Allah; more honest in speech; more dutiful in upholding the ties of kinship; more generous in giving charity; and devoted in giving of herself in acts of charity; by means of which she sought to draw closer to Allah. SunanAbuDawoud-017-001-25111 | Aisha wife of the Prophet ﷺ said Marriage in pre Islamic times was of four kinds. One of them was the marriage contracted by the people today. A man asked another man to marry his relative sister or daughter to him. He fixed the dower and married her to him. Another kind of marriage was that a man asked his wife when she became pure from menstruation to send fro so and so and have sexual intercourse with him. Her husband kept himself aloof and did not have intercourse with her till It became apparent that she was pregnant from the man who had intercourse with her. When it was manifest that she was pregnant; her husband approached her if he liked. This marriage was called istibda to utilize man for intercourse for a noble birth. A third kind of marriage was that a group of people less than ten in number entered upon a woman and had intercourse with her. When she conceived gave birth to a child and a number of days passed after her delivery; she sent for them. No one of them could refuse to attend and they gathered before her. She said to them You have realized your affair. I have now given birth to a child. And this is your son. O so and so. She called the name of anyone of them she liked and the child was attributed to him. A fourth kind of marriage was that many people gathered together and entered upon a woman who did not prevent anyone who came to her. They were prostitutes. They hoisted flags at their doors which served as a sign for the one who intended to enter upon them. When she became pregnant and delivered the child ; they got together before her and called for the experts of tracing relationship from physical features. They attributed the child to whom they considered and it was given to him. The child was called his son and he could not deny. When Allah sent Muhammad ﷺ as a Prophet; he abolished all kinds of marriages prevalent among the people of the pre Islamic times except of the Muslims practiced today. | The Chapter on Fornication And Adultery And Family in HodHood Indexing, Chapter on Regarding The Types Of Marriages That Were Practiced Before Islam in Sunan Abu Dawoud

When Allah created Hell; He said: Go and look at it; Gabriel. He went and looked at it; then came and said: O my Lord! By Thy might; no one who hears of it will enter it. MuwataMalik-017-001-34404 | Malik related to me from Zayd Ibn Aslam from Ata Ibn Yasar that the Messenger of Allah; may Allah bless him and grant him peace; said; Whomever Allah protects from the evil of two things will enter the Garden. A man said; Messenger of Allah; do not tell us! The Messenger of Allah; may Allah bless him and grant him peace; was silent. Then the Messenger of Allah; may Allah bless him and grant him peace; repeated what he had said the first time. The man said to him; Do not tell us; Messenger of Allah! The Messenger of Allah; may Allah bless him and grant him peace; was silent. Then the Messenger of Allah; may Allah bless him and grant him peace; said the same thing again. The man said; Do not tell us; Messenger of Allah! Then the Messenger of Allah; may Allah bless him and grant him peace; said the same thing again. Then the man began to say what he had said previously and a man at his side silenced him. The Messenger of Allah; may Allah bless him and grant him peace; said; Whomever Allah protects from the evil of two things will enter the Garden. They are what is between his jaws and what is between his legs; what is between his jaws and what is between his legs; what is between his jaws and what is between his legs. | The Chapter on Peace And Entering Almadinah in HodHood Indexing, The Book of The Fear Prayer in Muwata Malik
MuwataMalik-017-001-34547 | Malik related to me from Rabia Ibn Abi Abdulrahman from another of the ulama of that time that Abu Mousa AlAshari came and asked permission from Umar Ibn AlKhattab to enter. He asked permission three times; and then went away Umar Ibn AlKhattab sent after him and said; What wrong with you? Why didnt you come in? Abu Mousa said; I heard the Messenger of Allah; may Allah bless him and grant him peace; say; Ask permission to enter three times. If you are given permission; then enter. If not; go away. Umar said; Who can confirm this? If you do not bring me someone to confirm it; I will do such-and-such to you. Abu Mousa went out until he came to an assembly in the Masjid which was called the Majlis AlAnsar. He said; I told Umar Ibn AlKhattab that I heard the Messenger of Allah; may Allah bless him and grant him peace; say; Ask permission three times. If you are given permission; then enter. If not; go away. Umar said; If you do not bring me someone who can confirm it; I will do such- and-such to you. If any of you have heard that; let him come with me. They said to Abu Said AlKhudri; Go with him. Abu Said was the youngest of them. He went with him and told Umar Ibn AlKhattab about that. Umar Ibn AlKhattab said to Abu Mousa; I did not suspect you; but I feared lest people forge sayings of the Messenger of Allah; may Allah bless him and grant him peace. | The Chapter on Peace And Modesty in HodHood Indexing, The Book of Shortening the Prayer in Muwata Malik

When the Messenger of Allah; may Allah bless him and grant him peace; saw it; he stopped at the door and did not enter. She recognised disapproval on his face and said; Messenger of Allah; I turn in repentance to Allah and His Messenger. What have I done wrong? The Messenger of Allah; may Allah bless him and grant him peace; said; What is the meaning of this cushion? She said; I bought it for you to sit and recline on. The Messenger of Allah; may Allah bless him and grant him peace; said; Those who make such pictures will be punished on the Day of Rising. It will be said to them; Bring to life what you have created. Then he said; The angels do not enter a house in which there are pictures. | The Chapter on Pictures in HodHood Indexing, The Book of Shortening the Prayer in Muwata Malik

If Allah grants you victory over Taif tomorrow; I will lead you to the daughter of Ghailan. She has four folds on her front and eight folds on her back. Aisha said that she had said; Messenger of Allah! There is a man asking permission to enter your house! The Messenger of Allah; may Allah bless him and grant him peace; said; I think it is so-and-so referring to a paternal uncle of Hafsa by suckling. Aisha said; Messenger of Allah! If so-and-so were alive referring to her paternal uncle by suckling could he enter where I am? The Messenger of Allah; may Allah bless him and grant him peace; said; Yes. The Messenger of Allah; may Allah bless him and grant him peace; came and I asked him about it. He said; He is your paternal uncle; so give him permission. So I said; Messenger of Allah! I was also told that the Messenger of Allah; may Allah bless him and grant him peace; said; The people of Yemen should enter ihram at Yalamlam. | The Chapter on Cities And Miqat Qarn Yalamlam Alhulayfa in HodHood Indexing, The Book of Hajj in Muwata Malik
MuwataMalik-017-001-35762 | Yahya related to me from Malik from Mousa Ibn Uqba that Salim Ibn Abdullah heard his father say; Your claim that the Messenger of Allah; may Allah bless him and grant him peace; entered ihram from this desert of yours is not true; because he only entered ihram from the Masjid; i.e. the Masjid of Dh AlHulayfa. | The Chapter on Perfumes Intercourse And Ihram in HodHood Indexing, The Book of Hajj in Muwata Malik
MuwataMalik-017-001-35795 | Yahya related to me from Malik; from Abdullah Ibn Dinar; that Abdullah Ibn Umar used to say; Anyone that does umra in the months of hajj; that is; in Shawal; Dh AlQada; or in Dhu AlHijja before the hajj; and then stays in Makka until the time for hajj; is doing tamattu if he then does hajj. He must sacrifice whatever animal it is easy for him to obtain; and if he cannot find one then he must fast three days during hajj and seven days when he returns. Malik said; This is only the case if he stays until the hajj and does hajj in that same year. Malik said that if someone who was from Makka but had stopped living there and gone to live elsewhere; came back to do umra in the months of the hajj and then stayed in Makka to begin hajj there; he was doing tamattu; and had to offer up a sacrificial animal; or fast if he could not find one. He was not the same as the people of Makka. Malik was asked whether someone who was not from Makka and entered Makka to do umra in the months of hajj with the intention of staying on to begin his hajj there was doing tamattu or not; and he said; Yes; he is doing tamattu; and he is not the same as the people of Makka; even if he has the intention of staying there. This is because he has entered Makka; and is not one of its people; and making a sacrifice or fasting is incumbent on anyone who is not from Makka; and; although he intends to stay; he does not know what possibilities might arise later. He is not one of the people of Makka. | The Chapter on Hajj Altamattu in HodHood Indexing, The Book of Hajj in Muwata Malik
MuwataMalik-017-001-35801 | Yahya related to me from Malik that he had heard that Uthman Ibn Affan would sometimes never get down from the animal he was riding on when he was doing umra; until he had returned. Malik said; Umra is a sunna; and we do not know of any muslim who has ever said that it is permissible not to do it. Malik said; I do not think that anyone can do more than one umra in any one year. Malik said that someone doing umra who had sexual intercourse with his wife had to sacrifice an animal and do a second umra; which he had to begin when he had finished the one that he had spoiled. He should go into ihram at the same place where he went into ihram for the umra which he had spoiled; except if he had entered into ihram at a place further away than his miqat. This was because he only had to go into ihram from his miqat. Malik said; Someone who entered Makka to do umra; and does tawaf of the House and say between Safa and Marwa while he is junub; or not in Ablution; and afterwards has intercourse with his wife; and then remembers; should do ghusl; or Ablution; and then go back and do tawaf around the House and say between Safa and Marwa and do another umra and sacrifice an animal. A woman should do the same if her husband has intercourse with her while she is in ihram. Malik said; As for beginning umra at AlTanim; it is not the only alternative. It is permissible if Allah wills for some one to leave the Haram and go into ihram if he wishes; but the best way is for him to go into ihram at the miqat which the Messenger of Allah; may Allah bless him and grant him peace; used i.e. AlTanim ; or one which is further away. | The Chapter on Menustration In Alhajj in HodHood Indexing, The Book of Hajj in Muwata Malik
MuwataMalik-017-001-35904 | Yahya related to me from Malik fromAbdullah Ibn Abi Bakr that a mawla of Amir bint Abdulrahman called Ruqaya told him that she once set out with Amra bint Abdulrahman to go to Makka. She said; Amra entered Makka on the eighth of Dhu AlHijja; and I was with her. She did tawaf of the House; and say between Safa and Marwa; and then entered the back of the Masjid. She asked me; Do you have a pair of scissors with you? and I said; No. She said; Then try and find some for me. I went and looked for some and brought them back and she cut some hair from the tresses of her head. Then; on the day of sacrifice; she slaughtered a sheep. | The Chapter on Makkah And Alhajj in HodHood Indexing, The Book of Business Transactions in Muwata Malik
MuwataMalik-017-001-35966 | Yahya related to me from Abdulrahman Ibn AlQasim; from his father that Aisha; umm Almuminin; said; We set out with the Messenger of Allah; may Allah bless him and grant him peace; in the year of the farewell hajj and we went into ihram for umra. Afterwards; the Messenger of Allah; may Allah bless him and grant him peace; said; Whoever has a sacrificial animal with him should go into ihram for hajj and umra together; and he should not leave ihram without leaving ihram for both of them at the same time. She continued I was menstruating when I got to Makka; so I did not do tawaf of the House or say between Safa and Marwa. I complained to the Messenger of Allah; may Allah bless him and grant him peace; and he said; Undo your hair and comb it and leave the umra and go back into ihram for the hajj. She said; I did so; and when we had completed the hajj; the Messenger of Allah; may Allah bless him and grant him peace; sent me with Abdulrahman Ibn Abi Bakr AlSiddiq to AlTanim and I performed an umra and he said; This is in place of your umra. Those who had entered ihram for the umra did tawaf of the House and say between Safa and Marwa; then left ihram. Then they did another tawaf after returning from Mina for their hajj; whereas those who entered ihram for the hajj or combined the hajj and the umra; only did one tawaf. Yahya related the same as that to me from Malik from Ibn Shihab from Urwa Ibn AlZubair from Aisha. | The Chapter on Menustration In Alhajj in HodHood Indexing, The Book of Fasting in Muwata Malik |
