SahihAlBukhari-017-001-2875Narrated Abu Saeed AlKhudri: Allah Messenger ﷺ forbade two ways of wearing clothes and two kinds of dealings. A He forbade the dealings of the Mulamasa and the Munabadha. SahihMuslim-017-001-20404Ibn Umar reported that Umar saw Utarid AlTamimi standing in the market and selling the silk garments; and he was the person who went to courts of kings and got high prices for these garments from them. Umar said: Allah Messenger I saw Utarid standing in the market with a silk garment; would that you buy and wear it for receiving the delegations of Arabs when they visit you? I the narrator said: I think he Umar also said: You may wear it on Friday also. Thereupon; Allah Messenger may peace he upon him said: He who wears silk in this world has no share in the Hereafter. Later on when these silk garments were presented to Allah Massenger ﷺ he presented one silk garment to Umar and presented one also to Usama Bin Zaid and gave one to Ali Bin Abu Talib. saying: Tear them and make head coverings for your ladies. Umar came carrying his garment and said: Allah Messenger; you have sent it to me; whereas you had said yesterday about the silk garment of Utarid what you had to say. He the Holy Prophet said: I have not sent it to you that you wear it; but I have sent It to you so that you may derive benefit out of it; and Usama donned the garment presented to him and appeared to be brisk; whereupon Allah Apostle ﷺ looked at him with a look by which he perceived that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ did not like what he had done. He said: Allah Messenger. why is it that you look at me like this. whereas you yourself presented it to me? SahihMuslim-017-001-20410Abdullah. the freed slave of Asma the daughter of Abu Bakr. the maternal uncle of the son of Ata; reported: Asma sent me to Abdullah Bin Umar saying: The news has reached me that you prohibit the use of three things: the striped robe. saddle cloth made of red silk. and the fasting in the holy month of Rajab. I went back to Asma and informed her. whereupon she said: Here is the cloak of Allah Messenger ﷺ. and she brought out to me that cloak made of Persian cloth with a hem of brocade; and its sleeves bordered with brocade and said: This wall Allah Messenger cloak with Aisha until she died; and when she died. I got possession of it. He said: I know such and such surahs and he counted them ; whereupon he ﷺ said: Can you recite them from heart from your memory ? And the people ate to their fill; and they said: We do not know whether he the Holy Prophet had married her as a free woman ; or as a slave woman. They said: If he the Holy Prophet would make her wear the veil; then she would be a free married woman; and if he would not make her wear the veil; then she should be a slave woman. When he intended to ride; he made her wear the veil and she sat on the hind part of the camel; so they came to know that he had married her. As they approached Medina; Allah Messenger ﷺ drove his ride quickly and so we did. Adba the name of Allah Apostle camel stumbled and Allah Messenger ﷺ fell down and she Radrat Safiya: also fell down. So far as the yellowness is concerned; I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ dyeing head; beard and cloth with this colour and I love to dye my head; beard or cloth with this colour. He replied: I saw you touching only the two Yamani corners; and I saw you wearing shoes having no hair; I saw you dyeing in yellow colour; and I saw you wearing ihram on the eighth of Dhu AlHijja; whereas the people had worn ihram when they sighted the moon. Abdullah Ibn Umar replied: As regards the corners; I have not seen the Messenger of Allah ﷺ touching anything in the Kabah but the two Yamani corners. As for the tanned leather shoes; I have seen the Messenger of Allah ﷺ wearing tanned leather shoes; and he would wear them after ablution. Therefore I like to wear them. As regards wearing yellow; I have seen the Messenger of Allah ﷺ wearing yellow; so I like to wear with it. SunanAbuDawoud-017-001-25450Jabir said We went out along with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ raising our voices in talbiyah for Hakk alone Ifrad while Aisha raised her voice in talbiyah for an Umrah. When she reached Sarif; she menstruated. When we came to Makkah we circumambulated the Kabah and ran between AlSafa and AlMarwah. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ then commanded us that those who had not brought sacrificial animals withthem should put off their ihram after Umrah. We asked Which acts are lawful and which not ? He replied All acts are lawful that are permissible usually. We had therefore intercourse with our wives; used perfumes; put on our clothes. There remained only four days to perform Hajj at Arafat. We then raised our voice in talbiyah wearing Ihram for Hajj on the eighth of Dhu AlHijja. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ entered upon Aisha and found her weeping. He said What is the matter with you? My problem is that I have menstruated; while the people have put on their ihram but I have not done so; nor did I go round the House the Kabah. Now the people are proceeding for Hajj. He said This is a thing destined by Allah to the daughters of Adam. Take a bath; then raise your voice in talbiyah for Hajj i.e; wear ihram for Hajj. She took a abtah and performed all the rites of the Hajj lit. she stayed at all those places where the pilgrims stay. When she was purified; she circumambulated the House the Kabah ; and ran between AlSafa and AlMarwah. He the Prophet said Now you have performed both your Hajj and your Umrah. She said Messenger of Allah; I have some misgiving in my mind that I did not go round the Kabah when I performed Hajj in the beginning. He said Abdulrahman her brother ; take her and have her perform Umrah from AlTanim. Similarly; this tradition has also been transmitted by Ubaid Allah Bin Umar; Malik and Ayoub as a statement of Ibn Umar not of the Prophet. Ibn Abbas said A pilgrim in the sacred state while wearing ihram can wash his head. AlMiswar said A pilgrim in the sacred state wearing ihram cannot wash his head. Abdullah Bin Abbas then sent him Abdullah Bin Hunain to Abu Ayoub AlAnsari. MuwataMalik-017-001-34948Yahya related that he heard Malik say that if a man gave a washer a garment to dye and he dyed it; and then the owner of the garment said; I did not order you to use this dye; and the washer protested that he had done so; then the washer was to be believed. It was the same with the tailor and the gold-smith. They took an oath about it unless they produced something they would not normally have been employed to do. In that situation their statement was not allowed and the owner of the garment had to take an oath. If he rejected it and refused to swear; then the dyer was made to take an oath. Yahya said; I heard Malik speak about a dyer who was given a garment and he made a mistake and gave it to another man and the one to whom he gave it wore it. He said; The one who wore it has no damages against him; and the washer pays damages to the owner of the garment. That is when the man wears the garment which was given him without recognizing that it is not his. MuwataMalik-017-001-35558Yahya related to me from Malik from Nafi that Abdullah Ibn Umar used to adorn his daughters and slave-girls with gold jewellery and he did not take any zakat from their jewellery. Malik said; Anyone who has unminted gold or silver; or gold and silver jewellery which is not used for wearing; must pay zakat on it every year. It is weighed and one-fortieth is taken; unless it falls short of twenty dinars of gold or two hundred dirhams of silver; in which case there is no zakat to pay. Zakat is paid only when jewellery is kept for purposes other than wearing. Bits of gold and silver or broken jewellery which the owner intends to mend to wear are in the same position as goods which are worn by their owner - no zakat has to be paid on them by the owner. In that case you can wear leather socks; but cut them off below the ankles. Do not wear any clothes that have been touched by saffron or yellow dye. Abdullah Ibn Umar replied; As for the corners; I only ever saw the Messenger of Allah; may Allah bless him and grant him peace; touching the two Yamani corners. As for the sandals; I saw the Messenger of Allah; may Allah bless him and grant him peace; wearing hairless sandals and doing Ablution in them; and I like wearing them.
